Mohit Suri's Saiyaara is turning into a rage at the box office – a cultural phenomenon like never before. With its raw portrayal of love and heartbreak, the film has struck an emotional chord with fans and celebrities alike. Starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the film has been receiving applause from Bollywood stars and now, even Anil Kapoor has joined the list of actors with a heartfelt reaction, adding to the growing love for Saiyaara.
Calling the film a 'feeling', Anil Kapoor acknowledged Mohit Suri's rare honesty in his storytelling. The actor who previously collaborated with the filmmaker for his film Malang also recalled working with him and shared that he brings his heart to every frame. The note read, 'What a film. Further in his touching note, Anil Kapoor lauded Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday for their incredible performance in the film. Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara was released in theatres on July 18. The romance drama follows the love story of Krish Kapoor, a short-tempered musician and Vaani, an aspiring writer. The chemistry between the two newcomers, combined with the film's impressive soundtrack and touching storyline, has resonated with viewers, making it a rage at the box office.
Within three days of the box-office premiere, Saiyaara has earned more than Rs 80 crore in India – the highest opening weekend total for a romantic film with debut stars.
Meanwhile, stars like Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Karan Johar have already shared their rave reviews about Saiyaara, hinting that the romantic drama is headed to become a cultural moment.
