I tested this viral wet-dry Tineco vacuum cleaner for 2 months. It picks up a 'shocking amount of grime' — and it's $150 off
I vacuum regularly and mop my floors whenever they need some TLC. However, like most people, I can be lazy, so while my home may appear clean to the naked eye, a closer inspection reveals an underworld of dirt and grime.
After testing the Tineco wet-dry vacuum for more than two months, I am reluctant to ever return to a world without it. If you're looking for a powerful cleaning tool that eliminates the need for a traditional mop, I would recommend it — keep scrolling to find out why.

Tineco GO H2O XL: Best Buy Canada, TSC, Walmart Canada
Tineco GO H2O: Canadian Tire, Tineco
The Tineco GO H2O Cordless Hard Floor Wet Cleaner combines the functions of a mop and vacuum, saving you time and effort.
The two-in-one vacuum features an innovative flat scraper that clears away debris while continually washing floors. As the device scrubs floors with clean water, it moves dirty water into a separate tank, ensuring that only a cleaning solution and fresh water hit the ground. After cleaning, the Tineco GO H2O leaves your floors completely dry and streak-free within seconds.
Tineco's brush head easily reaches narrow spaces and ensures precise cleaning along baseboards and in hard-to-reach corners. It's suitable for tough, sticky messes on hard floors, including hardwood, tile, marble and laminate, and is cordless, so you can move about your house without dealing with any cords.
The device has a (very handy) self-cleaning function that automatically cleans the rollers and tubing with the touch of a button. There's even a centrifugal drying function which effectively removes water from the roller, further eliminating clean-up mess.
Many moons ago, I owned a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, and to be honest, I hated it. That experience tainted my view on 2-in-1 devices for a few years, but having thoroughly tested the Tineco GO H2O Cordless Hard Floor Wet Cleaner, I am well and duly converted. Here's what I like about it:
It's easy to use: I don't have the time nor the patience to set up or use complicated machinery. Happily, using the Tineco is incredibly straightforward. Once you fill the water tank and add the accompanying Tineco Floor Cleaning Solution, simply press a button to get started. The self-cleaning function is equally straightforward.
It picks up a shocking amount of grime: As I mentioned above, I vacuum regularly, so it always surprises me just how much dirt and grime winds up in the tank. In addition to dirt, the brush roller picks up hair, debris and gunk you have on your floors without an issue.
The self-cleaning function is my favourite part: The fact you can press a button and the device cleans itself is a game-changer. Of course, you still need to empty the tank and wipe down the surfaces, but overall, it's a hassle-free process.
It's great for quick clean-ups: Unlike a traditional mop and bucket, the Tineco takes seconds to set up and doesn't require a ton of water. Additionally, the clean water on the floor dries almost immediately and doesn't leave behind streaks, which is a huge advantage over traditional mopping.
I would wholeheartedly recommend the Tineco, but depending on your household needs, there are a few things to consider:
It's better for upkeep rather than heavy-duty clean-ups: While the Tineco is quick and handy, it won't replace a traditional vacuum if you have a lot of debris to pick up. If you have a home with pets, for example, you would still want to vacuum before using the Tineco.
The tank might not be large enough for some homes: I own the Tineco GO H2O, but I included the XL version above for a reason. I live in a small apartment, so the size of the water tank isn't an issue for me. However, if you have more floorspace to cover, the XL version might be a better option. The Tineco GO H2O XL has a 30 per cent larger water tank and a 75 per cent extended battery life.
The cleaning solution is expensive: The Tineco instructions say that you should only use its branded cleaning solution — the refills of which are not cheap. I'm not sure if I believe that, but I also don't want to break a $400 floor cleaner, so I'm caught between a rock and a hard place.
Would I recommend the Tineco GO H2O wet-dry vacuum? If you live in a home with a lot of hard flooring and want to streamline your cleaning routine — absolutely. It's a pricey gadget, but it's worth the investment, especially if you're able to snag it on sale. I love it for regular cleaning maintenance, but if you're looking for a do-it-all cleaner to replace your vacuum and mop entirely, I would reign in your expectations.

Are the Beats Studio Pro worth it? I've used them for more than a year — and they're $215 off for Prime Day
If you are a frequent flier, a chatty Cathy or a daily commuter, you know the importance of high-quality noise-cancelling headphones. As someone who is all three of those things, I decided to test the Beats Studio Pro — a pair of over-ear headphones touted as the "most powerful and precise" Beats headphones ever made. Below, I share my honest take on the Beats Studio Pro headphones and let you know if they're worth the triple-digit price tag. Speaking of price, they're 46 per cent off for Amazon Prime Day 2025 — if you were looking for a sign, this is it. These wireless noise-cancelling headphones offer up to 40 hours of battery life. What is it: Over-ear headphones with fully adaptive noise cancelling (pure ANC) to actively block external noise. Beats Studio Pro headphones offer up to 40 hours of battery life on a single charge. The set comes with the Beats Studio Pro x Kim Kardashian headphones and colour-matching case and cables. Where to buy: Amazon Canada | Best Buy Canada What's included: Beats Studio Pro headphones, a carrying case, a USB-C to USB-C cable for charging and audio, 3.5mm analog audio cable, quick start guide and a warranty card. Editor rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best for: Travelling and flights, office work, outdoor walks, Apple Beats Studio Pro over-ear headphones feature fully adaptive active noise cancelling (pure ANC) technology, which actively blocks unwanted external noises such as airplane sounds, noisy office neighbours and outside traffic. The headphones feature Class 1 Bluetooth for exceptional wireless connectivity. Their rechargeable battery offers up to 40 hours of battery life and up to 24 hours of listening time when ANC or Transparency Mode is enabled. Studio Pro headphones easily connect to Android and Apple devices right out of the box and are comfortable for all-day wear. Multifunction on-ear controls can take calls, control music and activate Siri when you need a hand. $255 $470 at Amazon Incredible call quality: Over the years, I have become a bit of a headphones snob. I walk several hours a day and, as a bonafide chatterbox, I talk on the phone while walking those many hours. To me, good quality headphones mean the person on the other end of the call can hear clearly and without background noise — of which the Beats Studio Pro excels. My dad is hard of hearing and during all of our phone calls, through construction zones, on windy beaches and walking down busy city streets, he can hear me perfectly. Between the Beats Studio Pro and the Beats Studio3, the Studio Pro wins hands-down for call quality. I have tested both pairs and the comparison is not even fair — the Studio Pro is the Olympics while the Studio3 is beer league baseball. Active Noise Cancellation: On a recent plane trip, the active noise cancellation blocked out nearly all of the annoying plane noises, even though I was sitting next to the engine. If you work in a loud office or are a frequent flier, they're well worth the investment. Music sound quality: As for sound quality, the Beats Studio Pro is incredible — incredible, I tell you! I've never dealt with any crackling or muffling, and they consistently deliver crisp, clear audio. Connectivity: Throughout the day, it's not uncommon for me to switch the device I'm connected to several times. The Studio Pro headphones connect, re-connect and disconnect effortlessly. I'm an Apple user, so they're especially easy for me, but reviewers say the easy connection is across all phone types. There is very little I dislike about the Beats Studio Pro Headphones. Like all over-ear headphones, they can be a bit uncomfortable on the top of my head after some time, and while the battery life is great, 40 hours seems like a stretch. The headphones aren't 100 per cent waterproof, if that's important to you, but they've held up fine in light rain and during sweaty workouts. Of course, there's no denying the headphones are expensive at full price; however, if you get them on sale, they're well worth it. If you're a frequent flier or work in a loud office, the Beats Studio Pro Headphones are worth investing in — especially at their current sale price.
