The Gallaghers — arguably the most well-known Manchester City supporters — performed "Live Forever" while displaying images of Jota in his Liverpool kit on the video boards. The 28-year-old soccer star was laid to rest on Saturday morning in Portugal after was killed along with his brother André Silva in a devastating car crash earlier this week.
The show's opening band, who hail from Liverpool, paid tribute to Jota as well, dedicating their performance of "Walkaway" to the forward.
