Ben Shelton's Girlfriend Trinity Rodman Issues Strong Statement During His Wimbledon Run
American tennis player Ben Shelton and his girlfriend, United States Women's National Team soccer star Trinity Rodman, have been the talk of Wimbledon.

But Rodman does not want people talking about them any which way. She made her feelings known ahead of Shelton's quarterfinal against No. 1 seed Jannik Sinner.
Rodman, an NWSL champion and Olympic gold medalist at age 23, has been in attendance at the All England Club to watch Shelton at every match just like she was at the French Open. She is not currently with her club team, Washington Spirit, while she rehabs a serious back injury.
Rodman has garnered plenty of attention from the ESPN cameras while sitting in the crowd alongside her boyfriend's father, Bryan Shelton, and sister, Emma Shelton.

After No. 10 seed Shelton got a four-set comeback victory on Monday against Lorenzo Sonego, Rodman took to her Instagram story to spell out a problem with how she has been treated by the broadcast media during her frequent screen time at Wimbledon.
"For those who don't know... my name is TRINITY not Tiffany," she wrote over a nondescript photo.
"Also, for Ben's matches he has his family there as his support system, which includes his dad," she continued in a second block of text. "My dad's not even in MY life no need to bring him up during HIS matches when I don't even want him talked about during mine. It's him and his loved ones' moment. Thank you."

Rodman has previously expressed her preference to be discussed independently from her father, a former NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls with whom she has a strained relationship.

The USWNT forward started dating Shelton, 22, earlier this year. They "hard launched" their relationship on social media to widespread fanfare.
Shelton shot onto the scene in 2023 with a run to the semifinal of the U.S. Open, where the unseeded American fell to eventual champion Novak Djokovic.
At this year's French Open, his magical run ended in the fourth round after a four-set battle with eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz.
Shelton's other top finish at a Grand Slam came in the 2025 Australian Open, when he was beaten by yet another eventual champion, Sinner, in the semifinal.
He is hoping to get over the hump at Wimbledon by getting revenge on the Italian in the men's singles quarterfinal, with Rodman supporting him along the way.

A RISING Colchester musician 'cried a few happy tears' after finding out she's going to support one of her favourite bands. Songwriter Bridget Clegg, 22, writes rock and punk songs under the moniker, Bridget. Bridget will be supporting beloved 1990s rock band, The Smashing Pumpkins, in Lower Castle Park on August 14 as part of the Colchester Castle Summer Series. Thousands of people will flock to the area for the festival across eight dates. She is the first Colchester act to be supporting any of the concert. Bridget said: 'I was at work, saw the message, cried a few happy tears, nothing crazy… 'I was overjoyed and instantly called my parents. 'Let's just say I was the right amount of excited and cool about it. Support act - Bridget (Image: Amy S @esshuttr on Instagram) 'It means so much to me, as an independent artist, when you're doing everything for yourself and you get a win like this out of the blue. "It makes everything seem very worthwhile because sometimes you do lose your confidence and it's so easy to forget how far you've come and what you've achieved. 'I am particularly emotional about it because I really did dream of doing this since I was a child; so, it's amazing to comprehend.' Last year, the emerging artist released her debut EP, Damage Reversal and played Glastonbury Festival's Bimble Inn. Two festivals are also happening, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell will headline the reggae day festival, Roots East, on August 17. Manchester group James will headline the Out of Time Festival on August 22 which also features Lighting Seeds, Happy Mondays and cinematic British folk-rock back The Waeve which features Blur's Graham Coxon and songwriter Rose Elinor Dougall. Bridget thinks the summer series concerts "are brilliant" and they offer 'something for everyone', and is looking forward to catching The Smashing Pumpkins and Skunk Anansie as 'they are heroes' of hers. Excited - Bridget (Image: Amy S @esshuttr on Instagram) As a big fan of The Smashing Pumpkins, who used to get her dad to play Bullet With Butterfly Wings every morning on the way to secondary school, Bridget is practicing 'over and over' for the slot. She said: 'I'm also flittering between being very excited, giddy and adrenalised and then calming it down and being serious, professional and normal about the prospect of what is happening. Exciting New Details Emerge for Upcoming 'Practical Magic' Sequel
Exciting New Details Emerge for Upcoming 'Practical Magic' Sequel originally appeared on Parade. After decades of patiently waiting, it seems that fans of 1998's cult favorite Practical Magic will soon be rewarded with a long-rumored sequel continuation. While details about the film have been relatively scarce thus far, new information has recently come out around the long-awaited Practical Magic 2, including who exactly is set to star in the film. Most obviously, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are both set to return to their roles as a sibling pair of New England witches at the heart of the original film. More recently, producers for Practical Magic 2 have announced the return of several additional actors from the initial film, alongside more than a few new faces joining the sequel's cast. In particular, Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest will reprise their roles from the original film. Previously, Channing (best known for her roles in Grease and The West Wing) portrayed the Owens' straightforward aunt, Frances. Meanwhile, Wiest (best known for her roles in Hannah and Her Sisters and Bullets Over Broadway) will play the Owens' more kind-hearted and understanding aunt, Jet. Additionally, The Act's Joey King has been cast in the role of Bullock's on-screen daughter, while Foundation's Lee Pace, Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams,The Dead Don't Hurt's Solly McLeod and Blue Beetle's Xolo Maridueña have all been cast in undisclosed roles. As of yet, plot details for the film remained tightly withheld from the public, but Practical Magic 2 is currently slated for release on September 18, 2026. "Twenty-five years ago, Sally, Gillian, Aunt Jet and Aunt Franny flew off the pages of Alice Hoffman's beloved novel and into theaters around the world, and we are thrilled to bring the Owens family back to the big screen with Joey, Lee, Maisie, Solly and Xolo joining the next chapter in our story," Practical Magic 2's production team said of the announcement. "The enduring affection for these characters has been our inspiration to deliver the next installment in the Owens' story to new fans, and those who've been with us since the beginning.'
