Elvish Yadav has come out in support of Divyanka Tripathi after she failed to recognise him on Laughter Chefs. Recently, the YouTuber took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and questioned trolls for attacking Divyanka. He urged everyone to spread 'kindness" and mentioned that the television diva deserves respect.
'Guys, I don't use social media much & I'm confused about why people are trolling Divyanka. But guys, she's super chill & deserves respect! 🙏 My request: please stop trolling her. Let's spread kindness instead," he wrote.
Hey Elvish! Sending you back tons of love. ❤️Also, hugs to the fans who have been spreading a word not to take the troll route. Someday, I'll narrate to you how it all unfolded and we'll have a good laugh about it!🤗 https://t.co/kjwO0hu4NF — Divyanka T Dahiya (@Divyanka_T) July 22, 2025
Divyanka also reacted to Elvish's post and wrote, 'Hey Elvish! Sending you back tons of love. ❤️ Also, hugs to the fans who have been spreading a word not to take the troll route. Someday, I'll narrate to you how it all unfolded and we'll have a good laugh about it!🤗"
For the unversed, Divyanka appeared on Laughter Chefs 2 recently, where she mistook Elvish for Samarth Jurel during introductions on stage. The moment saw her shaking hands with Elvish and saying, 'Hi Samarth," which left Aly Goni, Krushna Abhishek, and others laughing. Realising her mistake, Divyanka immediately apologised and even joked that the part should be edited out to avoid trolling by Elvish's fans.
Unfortunately, her prediction came true. After the episode was aired, Elvish's fans expressed disappointment and slammed the actress.
Therefore, on Tuesday, Divyanka commented under one of her posts, calling out the hate, while also thanking genuine fans. 'I want to thank genuine Elvish fans for being nice. True fans, first keep their idol's respect in mind. Double thanks to the trollers for increasing my engagement (sic)," she wrote.
'My inner systumm automatically bounces back your foul language to you and your family. Karma! Those being nice shall always be blessed…says my core divinity! (sic)," the actress added.

Their Mexican basket trio impressed everyone so much that Chef Harpal saluted them during the episode, something that had never happened before on the show. Karan Kundrra, reflecting on his victory said, 'Coming back for Season 2 turned out to be one of the most special experiences I've had in a long time. There was a kind of ease on this set that's hard to describe - no pressure, no overthinking, just people genuinely enjoying themselves. I felt like I was returning to a family that missed me. I joined mid-season, had zero prep, and suddenly I was in this high-pressure kitchen with Elvish, who operates on pure instinct and jugaad, and somehow, it just clicked. What's precious to me is that this journey with all its fun, flaws, and flavour sends a simple but powerful message: that everyone can cook, and everyone should. Because food isn't about perfection, it's about connection.' Elvish Yadav on wrapping up the season with a win shared, 'When I entered Laughter Chefs, I thought it would be a fun break - a few laughs, some kitchen disasters, and then back to regular life. But this show had other plans. From the very first week, it pulled me into its vibe. And when Karan and I teamed up, it was an instant vibe match. We never overplanned, we just showed up, had fun, and stayed real. Kitchen was a new territory for me, but this journey taught me so much. I now have a very different appreciation and respect for those who cook regularly. What stands out for me is that my mom got to witness all of it: the mistakes, the growth, the final win.' Watch A post shared by ColorsTV (@colorstv) Talking about Laughter Chefs exclusively with SCREEN, Karan Kundrra said, 'Season 1 had ended abruptly, and there were no winners. We were all figuring out what the show was like; it was supposed to be a filler show, and suddenly it became a rage. When season 1 got over, there was a gap, and there were 16 people in this season, other than Bharti and chef Harpal, so there were a lot of issues. But I wanted to be back on the show, because it's therapy.' He added, 'Laughter Chefs 1 was the first time I entered the kitchen in my life. I have never cooked before. I didn't know I had a knack for cooking and would enjoy it so much. By season 2, I realized how to make food tasty. Shooting for the show is way more fun. What translates on screen is just 40-50 minutes, but we shoot for 16 hours, so imagine all the fun we have. I was shooting in Dubai and would never miss a day. I would take a flight at 3:30 am after shooting all day and night, come here, and would not even feel tired, that's how great the contestants were in both seasons. ' Karan Kundrra also shared that he was initially skeptical when they were offered the first season of Laughter Chefs. 'Yes, we were skeptical. We didn't know what we were getting into. There were so many questions and apprehensions about working with 16 other people. I'll be very honest, actors are very insecure people; they don't want to share their screen space, everybody is worried about positioning, but we lucked out. In both seasons, nobody was negative on the show; that's what made it very happy to shoot. One wrong contestant and things could go South, but that never happened.' Lastly, Karan spoke about Season 3 of Laughter Chefs. 'I don't know if season 3 is in talks, but according to me, the show is inevitable. It has good ratings, and this show has reached worldwide.'
