McTominay is not for sale, so Napoli didn't even sit down to discuss a potential move to Al-Hilal.
Inzaghi was interested in the Scotland international, but Napoli didn't even listen to a formal proposal from the Saudi side.
McTominay is more than happy at Napoli and is not considering joining any other club this summer.
The Partenopei boss, Antonio Conte, recently spoke about the midfielder's move to the Stadio Maradona last summer, admitting that he did not expect him to complete a transfer from Manchester United.

'Scott is a player whom I knew really well. He was born and raised at Manchester United,' Conte said.

'I could see that he always made an impact when he played, but at the same time, I noticed he wasn't used as a key player at Manchester United. He was hardly a starter. Honestly, we had talked about it with [Napoli director] Giovanni Manna. He told me it was a possible solution.
'Sometimes, directors make up stories also to keep you calm,' Conte continued.
'If you ask me: 'Have you ever thought McTominay would surely arrive?' I'd say no. Don't forget we were heading into a season without European trophies to play for, so he had to leave Manchester United to start over with us.'
McTominay scored 12 goals and provided six assists in 34 Serie A games in his debut season in Italy's top flight.

Barcelona star ‘signed' for his new club on Friday

Barcelona star 'signed' for his new club on Friday Barcelona star Ansu Fati has already put pen to paper on terms with his new club. That's according to French football insider Fabrice Hawkins, who, as expected, points towards AS Monaco as the outfit in question. Advertisement Monaco have of course been tipped as wide-man Ansu's most likely summer landing spot for some time now. As much comes after the principality side opened talks with those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou, over the terms of a loan deal for the 22-year-old. And after weeks of back-and-forth negotiations, late this week, Monaco appear to have officially landed their man. As per a report from the aforementioned Fabrice Hawkins: 'Ansu Fati also signed with Monaco yesterday, coming from FC Barcelona. Loan with a purchase option of €11m.' An official announcement on the part of Monaco is expected at some point early next week, as Ansu prepares for a new adventure in France. Conor Laird – GSFN

Germany coach trusts his women's Euros team on social media, visits

Germany coach Christian Wück is not setting up strict rules on his players' social media activities and is also convinced of their maturity when it comes to planned visits from family and friends at the upcoming women's Euros. Wück told reporters on Saturday at Germany's pre-tournament camp in Herzogenaurach that the players have been educated on social media from the junior level onwards at the national federation DFB. Advertisement "If we now have to talk to grown-ups about what they are allowed to and what not then it is more or less too late," the former men's U17 coach said. Wück said the DFB is paying a lot of attention to "prepare the young players for what happens in social media." Spokeswoman Annette Seitz referred to the DFB's social media department which is monitoring various platforms. She said that "the players are handling it very responsibly" and added on potential shitstorms and hate comments: "Should something be coming from the other side about which we have to talk then we will do that." Advertisement Wück also expects common sense from his players when it comes to planned visits from family members and friends the day after each match at the team hotel in Zurich - into which they will move on Monday ahead of their first game against Poland on Friday. "That's exactly how I envisage the whole thing: We want a feel-good oasis, so to say. But of course we also want the players to perform at their best," Wück said. "I think it's a give and take. And so far it's working very, very well."
