Katie Price could be homeless just months after selling Mucky Mansion
Katie Price is facing the possibility of homelessness as she may need to vacate her rented accommodation. The ex-glamour model and television personality has previously been candid about her housing issues, having had to relinquish her 'Mucky Mansion' due to escalating debts.
Currently, the 47 year old resides in a mock Tudor, four-bedroom house in Sussex, where she's been for the past eight months, paying approximately £5,000 per month in rent. However, Katie has recently discussed her future at this property, acknowledging that she's reached a turning point.
Despite claiming to earn a substantial income from her adult content subscription service and various brand partnerships, Katie has confessed to facing difficulties securing a guarantor for a new rental.
"I was supposed to have this place for about two years," she remarked about her present abode, before revealing: "The guy who owns it – such a nice guy – he let me have the place even though I didn't have a guarantor.
"And I've been on time with all the payments, as you should, bills and everything. But now he wants to sell it."
On her podcast, The Katie Price Show with sister Sophie, Katie elaborated: "It p****s me off. Some houses I look at, I can't get a guarantor. Some people don't earn money like me to be a guarantor," reports the Mirror.
"One house I do want, the landlord wants six months' rent up front in case I miss a payment and he also wants a guarantor – even though I've got the best reference ever from this guy. It's so annoying. Because that guy has read the papers and that, I get judged on it. It's so annoying."
Sophie tried to reassure Katie, pointing out: "Nowadays with renting they are asking for more, it is more competitive."
But Katie, who has always been open about her difficulties, revealed: "The truth is people don't realise I got into all that bankruptcy stuff not because I didn't want to pay but because I had a breakdown."
The television personality has faced bankruptcy twice - first in November 2019 and again in March 2024, with both cases subsequently discharged. Her previous residence, Mucky Mansion, which she bought in 2014 from Francis Maude, went on the market in December following her eviction over money problems.
Earlier this month, Katie revealed she'd begun searching for fresh accommodation on Rightmove after learning her current landlord planned to sell up.
She shared: "I've got to move house as the guy who owns it wants to sell the house now. So, I've got to go on the house hunt again.
"I might go closer to the kids' school. I am gonna talk to the guy, he might let me stay there a bit longer but he might not."

Should she be unable to remain, Katie is keen to relocate nearer to her children's schools. In December, she eventually secured a buyer for Mucky Mansion after slashing the price twice.
The property was initially on the market for £1.5 million, before being reduced to £1.35 million.
However, the celebrity, who was ousted due to mortgage arrears, later dropped the price to £1.15 million. Unfortunately, she didn't receive any proceeds from the sale as it was used to settle her outstanding debts.

Sienna is his world." Alan and Ellie reportedly met at the Marriott Worsley Park Club, where Ellie works and Alan holds a membership. The K's Jamie Boyle issues urgent warning over music venues closing
The closure of grassroots music venues is threatening to derail the British music industry, warns The K's frontman Jamie Boyle ahead of a landmark performance at Hillsborough Stadium Indie band The K's admit it's harder for unsigned bands as grassroots venues face further closures. The band from Earlestown, located between Manchester and Liverpool are today playing The Sarah Nulty main stage at Tramlines Festival in Sheffield, enjoying the recent release of their second album, Pretty On The Internet. 'We're well excited,' said frontman Jamie Boyle. Speaking to the Mirror from Hillsborough Stadium, he went on to add: 'As soon as we finished our first album, our minds were set on the second.' Last year, their debut album reached Number Three, being beaten by Beyoncé and The Libertines. But should their album get to number one, what would it mean for the band? 'It means everything to us. We'd love it. We said yesterday when we did our album release show, there's still one box I haven't ticked for my first album campaign, as amazing as it was but to finally tick that box and get that Number One accolade to our name. 'But regardless, as long as we keep doing what we're doing for a living, making music we love, that's all that matters but a Number One, would be that cherry on the top.' Prior to the record being released, four tracks racked up an impressive four million streams, something the band struggled to get their heads around. 'I think when you see it on paper, you don't even think about it until you have to,' said guitarist Ryan Breslin. He added: 'It's unfathomable the number itself, you see it on paper and then you sit down and think how many people know these songs, it's crazy. I don't think you can actually visualise that community, so all that put into context, it's class. 'As long as people keep listening, as long as everything keeps going down so well, we'll keep doing what we're doing, hopefully it stays that way for a while.' However, they admit that during the creation of the record, they learned to mainly focus on nothing but the album process. 'Don't let anything cloud our vision,' they added. But having worked their way up the industry for the past decade, bassist Dexter commented: 'It's been a lot of hard work over the past ten, seven years. It's been quite hard work. Obviously we're getting to these stages, it's kind of like the fruits coming out of the trees now. It has been hard work but it's served us well.' More recently, the band have launched a pop-up shop in their hometown to celebrate the release of their album, with Ryan admitting it was 'cool' to meet the people who have supported them over the years and seen their rise to success. He went on to add: 'The streams on Spotify, it's hard to kind of comprehended when you've got 100 people still in a shop buying your albums. Yeah, it's a good feeling.' Living between Manchester and Liverpool has been a huge help for the band. 'You get more doors open for you when you live between massive music scenes. There are more venues on your doorstep, which is why it's such a shame. See so many closing doors on a lot of the venues that we started off playing aren't there anymore. Theres a lot of focus on keeping them open now which I hope succeeds.' One of the venues the band have played the most was The Leadmill, Ryan said: 'There's just something in the water.' Speaking about their set at Tramlines, drummer Nathan said: 'We can't wait I think was an extra buzz as well obviously, because we just dropped the album. So I think it's just going to be a little extra special on stage for us and for the fans as well.' Jamie added: 'I think it's going to be f**king mint. I think it's going to rock.'

My hubby of 12 years got a second wife – he tries to make time for us both but it's hard
The two wives revealed that their personalities often clash THREE'S A CROWD My hubby of 12 years got a second wife – he tries to make time for us both but it's hard Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A WOMAN has revealed what it's like having a husband who also has another wife. 'A WOMAN has revealed what it's like having a husband who also has another wife. Tami Winder met her husband Colton 13 years ago, and the pair have been married for 12 years. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 Colton is married to both Tami and Sophie Credit: Youtube 2 The pair admitted that plural marriage can be hard Credit: Youtube The couple are both Mormon and revealed that despite the Mormon church outlawing plural marriage, they still have always believed in "plural marriage". They remained a duo for a number of years before meeting Sophie, who became Colton's second wife. Both 'sister wives' have a physical relationship with Colton, but are not intimate with each other. For the first two years of their plural marriage, Sophie and Tami lived separately, so that they could ease into polygamy. When they finally all moved in together, Sophie and Tami realised that they didn't know each other at all, and struggled to adapt to their clashing personalities. This led to a number of misunderstandings, with Colton revealing that he sometimes felt like he was "standing in the middle of a tornado." Cowboy Colton now spends alternate nights with his two wives, which they both agree is one of the "hardest" parts of the marriage. Tami revealed that at times she feels like she is "falling short" as a wife, which is why Colton has a second wife. However, he insisted that his first wife is "perfect" the way she is. Tami said that she often feels jealous in the relationship, especially when Colton goes on a date with Sophie. First Dates hosts its very first throuple in new series However, she added that if she communicates these feelings to Colton and Sophie, they do their best to "alleviate" her issues. Date night happens once a month, with Colton either going on a separate date with each of his wives, or the three of them going out together. Only Tami is Colton's legal wife, as plural marriage is illegal in the state of Utah, where the trio lives. "Sophie is more of a spiritual marriage", Colton explained. What is polyamory? Polyamory is the practice of having romantic relationships with more than one person at the same time, with the knowledge and consent of all parties. It can refer to relationships where one person has multiple partners or spouses, or where all parties are in a relationship with each other, for example in a throuple. According to You Gov, 6.8% of people in the UK have been in a polyamorous relationship. He added that their way of life is frowned upon and that they live "outside the law." The trio have three children between them, which they all co-parent, and are aiming to continue to grow their family. Tami birthed one of the children, whilst Sophie birthed the other two. Determined to make her brood bigger, Tami is now using IVF, and revealed that she struggles with the fact that Sophie popped out two children in quick succession, whereas she has found it more difficult. "If you're sleeping with the same man, you think it's got to be something to do with you", she said. The trio agree that it can be really hard to live together, but added that it's all worth it because their children make their plural family feel "complete."
