Sandy Liang Resort 2026 Collection

Vogue10-06-2025
Like many other designers in New York City, Sandy Liang has been hit by the tariffs. But she isn't letting that dampen her spirits; her resort collection is as light-hearted and fun as ever. Nostalgia seems to work well for Liang, and she often references specific childhood memories in her collections. This season it was The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air—and one episode in particular, when Will dresses up as a sunflower alongside elementary schoolers as part of a graduation requirement. Not surprisingly, Liang's version is a lot cuter and a bit more practical than the TV one—Liang's balaclavas are easily removable and even have a hole in the back for a ponytail to stick out. They also make a perfect set when paired with some of her technical jumpsuits made of the same spandex fabrication.
But with Liang's collections, while the most fun can be found at some of the more Instagrammable pieces, the real bestsellers come down to the basics. Classic polo shirts come oversized and with contrasting built-in sleeves so that you don't actually have to wear two layers to achieve the layered look, while what looks like a simple baby tee has a built-in bikini bra so you can go braless. Matching sets do well for the brand, and this season they got a cozier treatment.
'Resort and high summer is always a more realistic season,' said Liang. 'You don't have to do all the razzle dazzle of a runway show, but you can have fun with the details.' At market week the designer found that one of the most popular pieces amongst her team and buyers was an oversized sweater: Liang's version comes with an elasticized waistband that you can cinch up so it gives the illusion of a two-piece set, as well as providing a more flattering fit for those who may be petite like Liang. 'A lot of us wear our sweaters more cinched anyways, we want to tuck it in and feel flattered even without a belt,' explained the designer.
And it always comes back to motherhood for Liang. The designer recently celebrated her son Rainer's first birthday, and the toddler is already making a mark on the downtown cool brand. Not only is a drawing of his face on the back of some of the T-shirts in the collection, but some pieces were influenced by the outfits he wears. A jersey cardigan skirt set is what Liang describes as just a 'blown-up version,' of what her son wears. Giving it that signature Liang touch, the set is adorned with a cute kitten print on a faded blue fabrication for a lived-in and hand–me-down touch.

Jenz assures her everything is aboveboard and thinks she doesn't trust Marco. Molly calls Alexis and tells her about the fire. Josslyn gets home to find Lucas cleaning up from his dinner with Marco. She tells Lucas Natalia showed up at the church. Liz calls Lucas, who heads to the hospital. He wonders why Marco isn't there and where he is. Marco remembers his mother and wants to leave, but Sonny refuses. Jack stops by to talk to Josslyn about their plans with Dalton. Josslyn wonders if he's really there to see Carly, but Jack reminds her that he's her superior and to mind her beeswax. Carly blames Sonny and doesn't know what she would do if she lost Donna. Chase and Anna head to the hospital and question Lucas, who tells them about Natalia's drunk texts and Marco leaving to check on her. Michael mentions he's still taking pain pills, and she's surprised he's still experiencing pain. Michael says he has residual nerve damage but it's better than the treatments right after the fire. Sasha brings up how Michael asked for her when he was in the hospital, and he says he wanted to tell her to take care of the baby. Michael is determined to make sure his kids stay safe and won't be like Sonny. He promises her nothing like that fire will happen to his kids. Marco gets to the hospital and insists on seeing his mother. Sidwell makes a call to berate them for setting the fire while someone was inside. Sonny tells Jason they need to find out who set the fire. Jason points out Kristina was not supposed to be at work, but was called in. The firefighter updates Dante the fire was arson. General Hospital Recap: Anna Questions Sonny About Natalia's Death

General Hospital Recap: Anna Questions Sonny About Natalia's Death originally appeared on Daytime Confidential. On today's General Hospital recap: Kristina wants out of the hospital, but Alexis insists she stay. Kristina explains what happened and how Marco saved her life. Alexis is still blaming Sonny. When Molly stops by, Kristina tells her that she doesn't blame Sonny, though she understands her mother's fear. Molly says she can't lose her sister. Marco sits crying at his mother's bedside and then wants details on what happened. Anna explains how they found Natalia unresponsive, and Isaiah tells him that she couldn't be revived. Marco tells them about the drunk text and says he was on his way to see his mother when he came across the fire. Anna tells him ADA Turner asked them to pick up Natalia, because she'd shown up at the christening to talk to Sonny. Marco believes Sonny killed Natalia and the overdose was no accident. He says Natalia had evidence on Sonny she was going to turn over and is certain Sonny wanted to stop her. Lucas stops him from telling Anna that Natalia was planning on leaving town. Brook Lynn tells Tracy that Deception is in trouble and how some of Sonny's money wasn't clean. Tracy' is upset but Brook Lynn blames herself and defends Sonny. She says it was the accountant's mistake, and they need to bury it. Tracy says they should use it to their advantage. Tracy thinks they should let the authorities know, but Brook Lynn worries about Gio, since Sonny is the only person he talks to. Tracy says she's also trying to protect Gio. Chase updates Tracy and Brook Lynn on the fire at Charlie's and Natalia's death. He says Anna is on her way to talk to Sonny as he's a possible suspect. Tracy decides she needs to get a hold of Gio to get him away from Sonny. Vaughn finds Josslyn outside Charlie's, upset about the fire. She tells him Kristina almost died because of Sonny. She says this is one of the reasons she wanted to join the bureau, in order to take Sonny down. Josslyn figures Vaughn will use her vendetta to get her out of the WSB, but he likes she has a goal. The two share a kiss. Sonny tells Jason he's certain Sidwell is responsible for the fire at Charlie's, and since he came to town, two of his children have almost died. Jason promises they'll find out who set the fire. Sonny says he's fine if Marco becomes collateral damage. Sidwell summons Selina and tells her that she's in the middle of a war with Sonny. Selina says she has an understanding with Sonny, but Sidwell says two of her goons doused Charlie's and Sonny will follow the trail back to her. Selina realizes Sidwell has set her up. She says she'll talk to Sonny, but Sidwell doesn't think he will listen to her. Sidwell says her goons will point the finger at her and she should leave town. Selina says if she leaves, she could only come back if Sonny is dead. Sidwell agrees and Selina agrees to accept the blame and leave. Gio tells Emma he's thinking of dropping out of PCU. He doesn't want to play the violin anymore and knows he will lose his scholarship. Emma mentions Sonny, but Gio says he feels uncomfortable taking money from him now. She tells him to wait and see how he feels in September. Emma asks Gio for help proving Dalton is testing on animals, in order to keep him occupied. She says she can't prove anything because she can't get into the lab. Liz and Lucas discuss the possibility Sonny had Natalia killed. They note, with Kristina almost dying, this could be the start of a mob war. Marco is too frazzled to call his father, so Lucas calls Sidwell and tells him about Natalia's death. Sidwell heads to the hospital to comfort his son. Marco blames himself, telling Sidwell he was delayed getting to Natalia because he stopped to help Kristina. Marco says thanks to him, Sonny's daughter is alive, but thanks to Sonny, his mother is dead. Anna shows up at Sonny's and tells him Natalia is dead. Sonny denies any connection, but Anna shows him footage of one of his bodyguards talking to Natalia at the hotel. Anna says Natalia was planning on giving evidence to the ADA but subsequently died. She tells Sonny he's a person of interest and must take him in. Keep checking back for the latest General Hospital recaps! Himalayan Mama and Kittens Make the Cutest Cuddle Puddle on Bench They've Outgrown

Himalayan Mama and Kittens Make the Cutest Cuddle Puddle on Bench They've Outgrown originally appeared on Parade Pets. As a cat mama of three beautiful fur babies, one of my favorite feline quirks is that they can sleep almost anywhere. On top of bookcases, on the backs of sofas, underneath furniture (where you have no idea how they fit there), and in any cardboard box you leave out. The phrase, "If I fits, I sits," was invented by cats. Well, one beautiful Himalayan mama and her equally adorable kittens decided to make the most adorable cuddle puddle on a cat bench they can all barely fit on, and they are just as cozy as can be. Just check out how this precious family couldn't care less that they are fixing to all fall down! Awww, how adorable are they? One person commented, "No such thing as outgrowing! If it fits, it sits!" Facts. Another person added, "That's a whole lotta floof right there!"Someone else added, "I think they need a bigger bed, but to be honest, I doubt it would matter. Cats are gonna curl up anywhere they want, regardless of how big they are or how uncomfortable they look! Cats will always curl up in the one spot you would never expect a cat to sleep in." That is so true! My gigantic Maine Coon cat, named Meatball, has no idea how large he is. He's just over 1 year old, so he's still technically a kitten (Maine Coon cats don't stop growing until they are about 5 years old. Normal cats stop growing at about a year), and he sleeps in the weirdest spots. The issue is Meatball is so large that he sleeps on the edge of things, like tables, and will fall off them when he's still asleep! That's just typical feline behavior, though! Like I said above, if they fits, they sits, er... sleeps! 🐶SIGN UP to get 'pawsitivity' delivered right to your inbox with inspiring & entertaining stories about our furry & feathered friends🐾🐾 Himalayan Mama and Kittens Make the Cutest Cuddle Puddle on Bench They've Outgrown first appeared on Parade Pets on Jul 3, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade Pets on Jul 3, 2025, where it first appeared.
