Chiefs' Travis Kelce Set to Address Major NFL Question, Taylor Swift Relationship originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Late Monday afternoon, it was confirmed that Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce would be the featured guest on this week's episode of the popular podcast "Bussin' With The Boys," set to drop on Tuesday. Advertisement In a brief promotional clip, Kelce was seen sporting shorts with a "Stone Cold" Steven Austin t-shirt and a Cincinnati Bearcats hat as he addressed the audience through the camera, talking about the upcoming episode. "What's going on, everybody? TKELS here. Just got off the bus with the boys. Taylor and Will giving me some [expletive] about my Bearcats. August 28, baby. It's going [expletive] down. Make sure you check out this episode, though, man. We had some fun on the bus. Comes out this Tuesday." Coming off his third consecutive Super Bowl appearance and poised to enter the final year of his current NFL contract, Kelce is no stranger to big stages. Advertisement At age 35, he's already cemented his legacy as one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history, amassing 1,004 receptions, 12,151 receiving yards and 77 touchdowns in 12 seasons. He's also a three‑time Super Bowl champion, a ten‑time Pro Bowler and a four‑time first‑team All‑Pro, holding NFL records for most consecutive 1,000-yard seasons by a tight end and most career playoff receiving yards by a tight end (2,039). Super Bowl Champion Addresses Potential NFL Return on Fourth of July

Super Bowl Champion Addresses Potential NFL Return on Fourth of July originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Friday marks the 10th anniversary of the fireworks accident that cost former New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre‑Paul 2.5 fingers on his right hand. Advertisement Across 14 NFL seasons, Pierre‑Paul compiled 94.5 sacks, 167 quarterback hits and 631 total tackles, placing him among the top edge defenders of his era. In his conversation with ESPN's Jordan Raanan on Friday, Pierre‑Paul didn't shy away from his aspiration to continue playing. When asked about returning to the Giants, where "my career started," he said, "I think that'll be dope. Tremendous … the fans know me and know the type of player that I am. I'll always be that type of player and just give 'em everything I got, which I know it'll be more than enough." Selected 15th overall in the 2010 NFL Draft out of South Florida, Pierre‑Paul quickly emerged as one of the league's premier pass rushers, tallying a career‑best 16.5 sacks in 2011 and earning First‑Team All‑Pro honors after helping the Giants capture Super Bowl XLVI following the 2011 season. Advertisement After the 2015 fireworks accident in which he lost 2.5 fingers, Pierre‑Paul defied expectations by returning for eight late‑season games that same year and added 15.5 sacks over the next two Giants campaigns. Following a trade to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2018, he posted double‑digit sacks again in 2018 (12.5), earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2020 and won a second championship with the Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV that same year. At 36 years old, he's recently been posting intense workout clips on social media, reporting his playing weight back at 270 pounds and insisting 'I've got abs! I haven't had abs since my rookie year' in an interview in May. Advertisement With a relatively young pass rushing unit of Dexter Lawrence, Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux and this year's No. 3 overall draft pick, Abdul Carter, the Giants could benefit from adding a savvy veteran like Pierre-Paul. Everyone Had Same Reaction To Shedeur Sanders, Deshaun Watson Report

Everyone Had Same Reaction To Shedeur Sanders, Deshaun Watson Report originally appeared on The Spun. A rather interesting report has emerged out of Cleveland involving the Browns' two most interesting quarterbacks: Rookie Shedeur Sanders and injured Pro Bowler Deshaun Watson. Advertisement According to Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot, while he's been recovering from his Achilles injury, Watson is reportedly supporting the other four quarterbacks on the team. But he's apparently taken extra interest in Sanders has is reportedly taking him "under his wing." 'Watson has been an awesome teammate inside the quarterback room and meeting rooms, and has been a great cheerleader for the four quarterbacks vying for the starting job...' Cabot reported earlier this week. "He's been especially helpful to the rookies in Gabriel and Sanders, who are working overtime to remain in the starting mix.' But given the problems that Watson has had over the past few years, both on the field and off the field, NFL fans aren't exactly thrilled about him being a mentor to Sanders. Advertisement Seemingly everyone is saying the same thing in different ways: It's a bad idea. "This will be the first part of my 'How it started'/'How it's going' post. Shouldn't need to wait too long for the second part," one user wrote. "This is like when Ralphie started giving Jackie Jr advice," another wrote, referencing The Sopranos. "This is laugh out loud funny," wrote a third. "Why does this feel like the plot of Training Day?" "The pain of being a Browns fan never freaking ends..." "So when Shedeur begins to visit dozens of massage therapists, he's have them sign an NDA up front." Advertisement "He's showing him the best massage parlors in the Land." "Oh gosh please .... I hope he wont corrupt Shedeur." LAS VEGAS, NV - SEPTEMBER 29: Quarterback Deshaun Watson #4 of the Cleveland Browns stands on the field prior to an NFL football game against the Las Vegas Raiders, at Allegiant Stadium on September 29, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by)Deshaun Watson's off-the-field issues are well-documented. He will pretty much forever be known for the allegations involving dozens of massage therapists that accused him of assault during his time with the Houston Texans. To make maters worse, Watson hasn't play at the same Pro Bowl level with the Browns since joining them in that blockbuster trade several years ago. In three seasons with the team he's played in just 19 games despite playing on a full guaranteed contract. Advertisement That's not to say that Shedeur Sanders can't become a better player learning from the three-time Pro Bowler, but there are risks too.
