Alix Earle addresses breakup rumors with her NFL boyfriend Braxton Berrios

Daily Mail4 days ago
Alix Earle has admitted she has struggled as her relationship with her NFL boyfriend Braxton Berrios has gone long-distance - but the couple have not broken up.
Earle, 24, has remained based in Miami while wide receiver Barrios is now in Texas for camp with his new Houston Texans team.
The high-profile couple are now only seeing each other once a month for the time being but the influencer has insisted she is determined to make it work.
Speaking on her new vlog - titled 'How To Survive A Long Distance Relationship' - Earle said: 'I think this is kind of like my first go at a real long-distance relationship. When it comes to our communication, it is harder than usual.
'A lot of relationships can seem perfect. So I wanted to open up to you guys on how long-distance has been going and some of the struggles we have been having.
'We have not had a lot of problems in our relationship but it has definitely just been a different obstacle.
'The last time I saw him was July 4 in Europe together and then back in Miami for a quick second.
'It has definitely been a lack of one-on-one time. We have just found a way in the little moments and we are looking forward to sitting on the couch together. When we were in Miami, we didn't want to leave the house.'
Berrios signed a one-year, $2million deal with the Texans in March this year, leaving the Miami Dolphins after two seasons with the organization.

The traffic stop involving the Crank That (Soulja Boy) artist took place at around 2:30 a.m. on Melrose Avenue, LAPD officials told NBCLA. Police told TMZ that 'officers spotted a firearm in' the vehicle the Turn My Swag On performer had been in. It was not immediately clear why the vehicle the Yahhh! artist was riding in was initially pulled over. Daily Mail has reached out to the LAPD for further comment on the story. The rapper, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, was arrested in connection with suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm Soulja Boy previously took to Instagram Stories Saturday sharing a series of clips documenting a busy weekend following his 35th birthday, which was last Monday. Soulja Boy included frames of his trip to his SODMG Brand clothing store off Melrose Avenue, the LA shopping thoroughfare where he was arrested early Sunday. Among the Stories clips included a promotional picture for a party at the Hollywood, California nightclub Poppy in honor of his recent birthday celebration. Soulja Boy, who was past involved with Blac Chyna, captioned the shot, 'Who's sliding with me?' Soulja Boy, who has past clashed with Kanye West, also shared footage from inside his SODMG Brand studios. Inside, the studio was decorated with a plaque commemorating 23,000,000 streams on Spotify and another boasting over 1 billion streams on seperate platform. 'I don't need no security,' Soulja Boy said in another frame which appeared to be from the nightclub, where was surrounded by dozens of partygoers celebrating in his honor. At the club, the DJ played Soulja Boy's 2007 hit Kiss Me thru the Phone, which he sang along with on the microphone, with a hand rolled cigarette in his fingers. Eight months into 2025, it's safe to say the Speakers Going Hammer rapper has had a challenging year. In April, a Los Angeles court ordered him to pay $4 million in compensatory damages in connection with a sexual assault case he was involved in amid allegations from an ex-assistant. Soulja Boy told Rolling Stone at the time of the court decision that he has never been 'charged or convicted of this, criminally,' in reference to sexual assault. 'The district attorney never filed charges,' he said. 'So, to be accused of this civilly is beyond me. I've never done any of the things they're accusing me of. I just feel like this is very unfair.' He later told the publication in a statement: 'I want to make it clear that I'm innocent. This case was never about justice. 'It was about money and personal gain, and I will not let that stand. I am committed to filing an appeal and fighting for the truth to be revealed.'

Ed Kelce shares picture of Taylor Swift with his late girlfriend as Travis and Jason's dad mourns her death

Ed Kelce has shared a picture of his late girlfriend, Maureen Maguire, meeting Taylor Swift as he mourns her death. Maguire died on Friday at the age of 74, according to her obituary, surrounded by loved ones. Travis and Jason's father Ed posted the obituary on his Facebook to announce the news but has not otherwise commented so far on her death. He has, however, now shared pictures from their time together. The snap of Swift with the couple shows the three of them in Kansas City Chiefs merch, with the singer holding a card and what appears to be a friendship bracelet. Kelce also shared a photograph with Maguire from Saturday Night Live in March 2023 in New York, when three-time Super Bowl winner Travis was the guest host. In an interview last year with the Los Angeles Times, Kelce revealed how his girlfriend and Swift had struck up a bond. Maguire, according to Kelce, jokingly told Swift 'hey, that's my boyfriend' when the singer took a selfie with Travis and Jason's father at an NFL game. Maguire's obituary describes how, thanks to Kelce's influence, she developed a strong interest in football in the later years of her life. 'She also grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch,' the obituary said. 'Together, they traveled often and attended football games and concerts, and embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest.' It isn't known when Ed first met Maureen, or how. But Ed and Donna Kelce, the mother of Travis and Jason, went their separate ways after nearly 25 years of marriage around the time their sons were at college. They remain friends to this day, with Travis and Jason becoming two of the most famous names in the NFL. 'I don't hate him. We're friends to this day. We get along great,' Donna once said of her ex-husband Ed. 'We were like a tag team with you two (Travis and Jason). We got to do all sorts of fun things. When one of you had to go out of town, the other person would help with the other child. It was perfect.' In a 2023 documentary about the family, Ed explained that he and Donna stayed together to be better parents. 'If we had split as we probably both would have preferred, that would have been a nightmare with the logistics, getting kids where they had to be and providing all the support,' he said. Travis and Jason have not yet commented on Maguire's passing. Travis is currently in training camp with the Chiefs ahead of the upcoming 2025 season, which for his team starts on September 5 in Brazil against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Kelce family saw their fame reach unprecedented levels in September 2023, when Travis and Taylor's romance was confirmed by Swift attending a Chiefs game alongside Donna at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Ed, who is also 74, recently told the Daily Mail in an exclusive interview how Maureen was with him when he met the singer for the first time. Since then, he has forged a close bond with one of music's biggest ever stars. Swift even seemingly refers to Ed in her song 'So High School'. 'I feel like laughing in the middle of practice / To that impression you did of your dad again,' Swift sings - Travis has repeatedly performed an impersonation of his dad on his New Heights podcast, which he hosts with his brother Jason. Ed has always spoken glowingly about Swift and her influence on his son - who affectionatelty calls him 'Papa'. He described her as 'a very smart, young lady' and 'a joy to be around' before February's Super Bowl.

Leagues Cup roundup: Guadalajara wins PKs after draw with Charlotte

August 4 - Richy Ledezma and Bryan Gonzalez scored their first goals for their new club and visiting CD Guadalajara earned a 4-2 shootout victory following a 2-2 draw against host Charlotte FC on Matchday 2 of Leagues Cup Phase One play on Sunday night. Raul Rangel saved Tyger Smalls during the shootout to help Chivas (0-1-1, 2 points) remain in contention for the knockout phase after he reacted poorly to concede Kerwin Vargas' free-kick equalizer at the near post in the 90th minute. That sent the game to penalties after Chivas had outplayed Charlotte for a long stretch, pulling level through Ledezma's strike from the edge of the penalty area in the 24th minute and going in front on Gonzalez's powerful 66th-minute header. Charlotte (0-1-1, 1 point), which sank to the brink of elimination, benefitted from an own goal from Guadalajara's Gilberto Sepulveda in the 11th minute. But Pep Biel, Charlotte's leading scorer in MLS regular-season play, was forced out with an injury in the 32nd minute. CF Monterrey 1 (5), New York Red Bulls 1 (3) CF Monterrey (0-1-1, 2 points) converted all five of their penalties to keep their knockout phase hopes alive following a 1-1 draw. Luis Cardenas made one save in the shootout following a match played in Cincinnati. Carlos Coronel thought he had saved Luis Reyes' penalty to prolong the tiebreaker, but it was ordered to be retaken for Coronel leaving the goal line early, and Reyes converted the second attempt. Julian Hall put the Red Bulls (1-0-1, 4 points) in front in the 19th minute when he ran onto Daniel Edelman's long throughball up the middle and drove an emphatic finish on the run past Cardenas. Rayados drew level 19 minutes later when Sergio Canales scored his second of the tournament, dispatching a rebound attempt from about 10 yards after Coronel saved Ricardo Chavez's header. FC Juarez 2 (4), FC CIncinnati 2 (3) Sebastian Jurado saved two penalties and visiting Juarez settled for a shootout win after giving back a two-goal lead in the second half. Guilherme Castilho scored in the second half after setting up Ricardo Antonio's header in the first for Juarez (1-0-1, 5 points), which is still in strong position to advance to the knockout phase. Evander pulled the first goal back in the 72nd minute for Cincinnati (1-0-1, 4 points), then delivered the corner kick that resulted in an own-goal equalizer five minutes later. But Evander saw his penalty saved with a chance to extend the shootout beyond five kicks after Cincy's Roman Celentano had saved Jairo Torres. --Field Level Media
