Primark's new perfume looks similar to a designer version - but there's a huge price difference
Primark is stocking a new perfume that is said to "smell like" a pricier alternative. Known for its affordable fashion, beauty and homeware, the high street giant may have just introduced a new crowd-pleaser.
The retailer's PS... Pro Eau de Parfum 50ml in the scent Sandalwood Runaway looks similar to a style by designer brand Le Labo - but at a fraction of the cost. Shoppers can snag the Primark version for £8, while the high end version is currently priced at £170 online.

The perfumes are very similar, with almost identical bottle shapes and silver-toned lids. They also both feature a minimalist approach to their design.

However, there are some differences. The Primark scent features cardamon, iris and sandalwood, while the designer version has notes of leather and musk.
TikTok user Debbie (@beautyglowgirl) shared a clip of herself snapping up the perfume in stores. Her caption read: "I spotted this perfume in @Primark last week that looked a lot like one of my luxury favourites so I had to go back and try it out…"
In the video, Debbie is shown finding the product in stores before heading back to her office to try it. She said: "I think I've found a new perfume [alternative] in Primark so come with me back into store on the hottest day to try and find it. I spotted some new perfumes in store last week and one specifically that looked like my favourite Le Labo Santal 33 so let's go find it again.
"I was really hoping it's still in stock and it is, this is Sandalwood Runway and it's £8 versus £170 for Le Labo, so I'm definitely gonna pick that up. They also had some other new ones, they had Electric Rose, they had Nomad Oasis and Savanna Breeze so I definitely need to try these out, for now though I'm just gonna get this one.
"I got back to the office after a hot tube ride - I definitely need a perfume and moment of truth - so it definitely smells like Santal 33 for sure, it's not exactly the same, this is a little fresher and maybe more citrusy but I really like it definitely worth your money for only £8!"

The full Primark product description reads: "Say hello to PS... Pro Soul Reflections Eau de Parfum – your next signature scent. Blending cardamom, iris and sandalwood, it's smooth, warm and just the right amount of bold.
"Great for day or night, this one's perfect for adding a little edge to your everyday. Just spritz and go – easy. It's travel friendly too, thanks to its compact 50ml bottle – say no more!"

The designer description states: "Smoky and alluring, the Santal 33 Eau de Parfum (50ml) is perfect for those who wish to adorn themselves in a musky scent. Inspired by the rugged, wide plains of the American West and indigo-blue night skies above, this fragrance boasts comforting and warm accords designed to stir the senses.
"With an earthy introduction that melds crackling notes of cardamon, iris and violet, it then falls onto a bed of leather and musk. You can count on it to linger in the air and on the skin, allowing you to make a memorable impression wherever you go..."
Primark's PS... Pro Eau de Parfum 50ml in the scent Sandalwood Runaway comes in at £8, while Le Labo's Santal 33 is priced at £170 online. This means shoppers could save around £162 by opting for the bargain version.
Customers can grab the Primark perfume, which also comes in Matcha Mood, in stores now. Shoppers can check availability at their nearest store here.

The simple pavement test that could reveal a major red flag in your partner

A professional dating coach has revealed three things a man does while walking with his partner that could be red flags. UK-based Jacob Lucas describes himself as having 'helped millions of people get the love life they have always wanted through his real-life methods'. As well as working directly with clients, he makes dating content on TikTok, where he has almost followers. A recent video, which looked at behaviour while walking, was titled 3 body languages he is a red flag by the way he walks with you. He didn't speak during the video, rather, he superimposed text over footage that illustrated the activity he was describing, featuring a man and woman. The first red flag when it comes to how a boyfriend walks when accompanied by his girlfriend was him walking ahead of her. Moving onto his second point, the footage showed the woman stopping to fix her shoe - but the man didn't stop to wait. The video action was accompanied by text which said: 'Doesn't stop when you tie your shoelaces.' Dating coach Jacob Lucas (pictured) revealed why it could be a red flag if a man doesn't follow the 'sidewalk rule' when dating a woman Finally, Jacob moved onto the third point in his video, which is a traditional trope when it comes to good manners. The clip showed the couple walking down the road together, with the woman closest to the road, and the man to her side, furthest from the road. Superimposed on top of the imagery was text which said: 'Doesn't follow the sidewalk rule.' The sidewalk (or pavement) rule is when the man walks on the outside of the footpath, closest to the street. A man having their female partner on the inside protects the woman from car splashes, traffic accidents, and other surprise events. It also applies in situations like hiking near cliffs and walking by bodies of water. Some viewers left comments agreeing with Jacob's position on the sidewalk rule. One wrote: 'Number 3 is my favorite way to observe on a first date - is he the kind of man who protects or the one who needs protecting. It ALWAYS works. They do it subconsciously.' The sidewalk (or pavement) rule is when the man walks on the outside of the footpath, closest to the street Another said: 'The only time my husband ever walked in front of me was when I was pregnant he kept apologizing and slowing down, he wasn't used to the snail pace.' And a third added: 'My ex did this. Id ask him to slow down or hold his hand so we can walk together but he would always walk ahead of me. Told me I was lazy bc I didn't walk fast. BTW, I am really short so my steps are small.' 'What kids knows nowadays about manners. I walk in front of her to guard her in dangerous places,' one man wrote. Another commenter also shared her thoughts, writing: '1000% I knew I should've dumped my husband the first time he did this when we were dating. Would've saved me 15 years.' Relationship coach Kelley Bode has also spoken about the rule - even suggesting that when a man doesn't follow it while dating a woman, it could suggest that he doesn't love her. In a post on Instagram, Kelley wrote: 'The psychological reason women like the sidewalk rule is because they want to feel protected by their man. 'Him moving her to the inside of the sidewalk indicates that he cares about her safety and wants to protect her.' She added, 'It ticks a box deep inside our brain that says he's a safe man who cares for us.' A number of viewers shared their thoughts on the views dating coach Jacob shared in his TikTok video Many women agreed with Kelley and shared their opinions on the footpath rule. 'It's about chivalry,' one wrote. 'I can, without a doubt, say I've never opened any door around him and I've never walked on the traffic side of the footpath.' 'My boyfriend is the one who told me about the sidewalk rule and he never forgets to follow it,' another wrote. A third shared, 'My dad told me to never be with any man who walked on the inside, and he wasn't wrong.' 'My boyfriend always points out couples where the women are walking on the outside and claims their partners don't love them,' another added.

Woman mortified over X-rated pattern plastered all over new Shein top

A woman has been left in hysterics after noticing a rather unfortunate pattern on her new top from Shein - but the realisation came a little too late for her liking Everyone knows ordering clothes online can be a gamble - but there's always the option to return them if they're not quite right. For this exact reason, one women went through with her Shein order - adding a patterned top to her basket and eagerly awaiting its arrival. When it showed up, she was delighted with how it fit and decided to share a selfie in it on social media for her closet friends and family to see. However, it wasn't until she started reading through the picture comments that she realised the X-rated image plastered across her new top. ‌ On TikTok, she said: "I think this is something that could only happen to me. I bought an item from Shein, which was this top. I loved the print on it. ‌ "I don't often wear something with a print on and for me to find something with a print on, I was like 'f*** yeah'. "But this morning, I woke up and I was looking through the comments and I saw this one from my brother. He said, 'Humm, have you noticed the weird pattern on your new Shein clothing?'" She immediately went on her photo and realised the floral pattern resembled the male appendage - and it was printed right across her chest and down her cleavage. ‌ Through the laughter, she added: "I don't know how I didn't notice it. So that's me off to buy some fabric markers." Commenting on her post, one user said: "When you see it, you just can't unsee it." Another user added: "I'm so glad I didn't press buy, it was for my holiday. Thank you, you're amazing." ‌ A third user said: "Oh no, this is in my basket to order on payday." One more user added: "At least it points in the right direction." It comes after Kaitlyn Moore took to TikTok to share her fashion fail and posted a picture of the dress as it appeared on the website, which was a black slip dress with a sheer black polka dot layer on top and a belt that tied it all together at the waist. Excited to try the look on herself, Kaitlyn hastily ordered the item - but realised her mistake when it finally arrived. The woman, who posts under the username @sassandcellulite, had tragically misread the information on the website, as the garment she ordered was actually just the sheer outer layer without a black slip or belt. Posing in a bikini with the see-through fabric on over the top, Kaitlyn captioned her clip: "Shein strikes again." In the comments, Kaitlyn later explained she thought the dress was supposed to come with the other garments modelled on the website but had misread the information on the site telling her it was only the sheer layer.

My holy-grail mascara for long lashes is just £6 for Amazon Prime Day

Mascara has always been one of those make-up essentials I can't live without. It's the one product that instantly makes me feel more put-together, even on no make-up days. When I spotted Maybelline's lash sensational sky high mascara slashed to just £5.99 for Amazon Prime Day – a huge 54 per cent off – I had to shout about it. This isn't just any mascara. If you've spent any time scrolling TikTok, you've probably seen it go viral for its seriously impressive lengthening and lash-lifting power. It's been my everyday go-to for a few years now, and for good reason. It gives me long, fluttery lashes with zero clumping or flaking, and the flexible wand makes it super easy to get every single lash. Best of all, I've never experienced any fallout. Having worked my way through many a tube of this mascara, I'm constantly on the hunt for a deal on it. At this price, it's the perfect time to stock up. One of my favourite innovations in the make-up world is the glow-up that mascara wands have had. Over the years, they've developed from thick bristles that simply aren't as effective at separating lashes to spiky, plastic heads that easily glide through, distributing product evenly and sparingly. Maybelline's sky high mascara has one such wand, and I instantly fell in love with it. Its uniquely designed brush is long, thin and densely packed with tiny plastic bristles, which make it ideal for getting to hard-to-reach areas and easy to manoeuvre from all angles with minimal mess. In my in-depth review of the mascara, I also rave about the tiny bristles that line the wand, which I have found 'help comb through each and every lash – yes, even those pesky ones right in the corner'. The mascara itself isn't flaky, meaning it doesn't drop throughout the day and feels lightweight on lashes. I also find that when I swipe the product on my lashes, which are relatively short and stubborn, they look significantly longer and separated. If you're all about volume, then this mascara may not be for you, but if length is your game, then there are few better products out there. It is buildable, and you can take your lashes from incredibly natural to dramatic without the product feeling crusty or dry. I love this mascara and will definitely be taking advantage of this saving on Amazon today. I'd highly recommend doing the same if you're looking to say hello to long lashes. Thank me later.
