Jennifer Lopez Quietly Echoes Jennifer Garner's Thoughts on Being Married to Ben Affleck

Yahoo2 days ago
On July 2, Jennifer Lopez held a secret listening partying Los Angeles and one particular new song is raising eyebrows because it might have a Ben Affleck reference.
A fan who attended the event revealed to Us Weekly that out of the six songs she played, 'Wreckage of You' stood out among the rest. The singles are expected to be a part of her upcoming tour and Las Vegas residency.

''Wreckage of You' is a pop ballad that she told us she co-wrote and recorded two weeks ago,' supporter Edgardo Luis Rivera told the media outlet. Lopez told her fans that it was a 'very difficult time for her both personally and professionally,' and the last year taught her to 'really focus on herself.' Now that she's feeling 'better and stronger than ever,' the 55-year-old superstar 'wanted to write a song about coming out of a bad situation much stronger.'
Rivera added, '[Lopez] kept thinking of the word 'wreck' because it means destruction, but she wasn't destroyed. In fact, the lyrics of the song are, 'I'm stronger after the wreckage of you.'' That sure sounds like a reference to her two-year marriage to Affleck, but Lainey Gossip noted Lopez's curious choice of words — it was reminiscent of Affleck's first wife, Jennifer Garner.
In February 2016, Garner shared the dark side of being married to a movie star in a very famous Vanity Fair interview. 'He's the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous,' she told the publication. 'He's just a complicated guy. I always say, 'When his sun shines on you, you feel it.' But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it's cold. He can cast quite a shadow.'
The 13 Going on 30 actress didn't stop there, though; she went on to make fun of his massive tattoo of a rising phoenix inked on his back during their divorce.
'You know what we would say in my hometown about that? 'Bless his heart.' A phoenix rising from the ashes. Am I the ashes in this scenario?' Garner said cheekily. 'I take umbrage. I refuse to be the ashes.'
It's almost as if Lopez went back and read Garner's words from almost a decade ago — 'wreckage' and 'ashes' sure sound similar in this situation. The common denominator in this relationship scenario just happens to be Affleck, and both women have stated their case.Best of SheKnows

Wendy's Leak Suggests Spooky New Frosty Flavor Is Coming Soon

Wendy's Leak Suggests Spooky New Frosty Flavor Is Coming Soon originally appeared on Parade. Wendy's looks to be bringing something mysterious and spooky to its menus in the near future. The beloved international burger chain is reportedly gearing up to release a new themed meal in collaboration with Netflix, similar to the limited-edition SpongeBob SquarePants meal it offered a few months ago. An apparent image of Wendy's yet-to-be-announced partnership was leaked over the weekend and the now-viral pic suggested Wendy's new collaboration would promote the return of one of the streamer's most anticipated original series: Wednesday. Related: A July 6 Reddit post claimed the rumored collaboration, dubbed "Wednesday's Meal of Misfortune," features a 10-piece chicken nugget entrée that's served with two "Dips of Dread" mystery sauces, a small fry, and a small Frosty in the new "Raven's Blood" flavor. According to the post, the new Frosty features a "dark cherry Frosty Swirl," presumably a cherry-flavored syrup swirled in Wendy's fan-favorite vanilla soft serve. A Wendy's spokesperson was not immediately available for comment. It's expected to be released sometime in August or shortly before the premiere of Wednesday Season 2 on August 6. Part two of the new season will return exclusively to the streamer on September 3. While neither Netflix nor Wendy's has publicly confirmed the suspected collaboration, fans believe they recently spotted a production crew filming part of the new season at a Wendy's location in California, making the rumors all the more believable. Should we uncover any further details, we'll be sure to update this story accordingly. ESPN's Louis Riddick Talks Cam Ward, Underrated NFL Rookies and More On 'Best Podcast Available'

ESPN's Louis Riddick Talks Cam Ward, Underrated NFL Rookies and More On 'Best Podcast Available' originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The 2025 NFL Draft was full of compelling storylines, but it kicked off with a No. 1 overall pick that was surprisingly underappreciated. Advertisement Miami quarterback Cam Ward went to the Tennessee Titans with this year's top pick, but his selection was quickly overshadowed by other moves and selections, leaving him without the typical fanfare you see surrounding franchise quarterbacks taken at that spot. On the latest episode of "Best Podcast Available," I sat down with ESPN's Louis Riddick to talk about this year's rookie class, including how such a talented prospect like Ward still feels like he's flying under the radar, despite being the No. 1 overall pick. "If you've ever sat with him, or even just watched his interviews, Cam is not a guy who is a self-promoter," Riddick said. "He's not the 'show-biz' type dude. He's a baller, period." Cam Ward has all the traits to be a superstar for the Tennessee Simmons / The Tennessean-USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images Riddick also rattled off some of his other favorite prospects in the NFL's 2025 rookie class, from big names like Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty, to hidden gems like Kansas City Chiefs running back Brashard Smith and Detroit Lions wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa. Advertisement "That's a guy who, people are gonna go, 'Who the hell is Brashard Smith?' You'll know him, I promise. You'll know him soon," Riddick said of the seventh-round pick out of SMU. "You don't typically see guys with that kind of size, who can run 4.3, with that kind of wiggle, who can play in the slot," Riddick said of TeSlaa, a surprise third-round pick many expected to go in the later rounds of the draft. "He was under-utilized at Arkansas. Detroit will find a way, I promise you that." Isaac Teslaa should thrive in a talented, dynamic Detroit Lions Lee-Imagn Images A proud University of Pittsburgh alum who spent nearly a decade in the NFL as a defensive back, Riddick couldn't resist the opportunity to shine a spotlight on his alma matter, pointing out one prospects NFL teams and fans should be watching when the Panthers take the field this fall. Advertisement "Everybody wants to know about the playmakers, and Desmond Reid, he's a multi-purpose back in the same mold as a Brashard Smith," Riddick said of Pitt's star running back. He's probably the guy everybody's eyes are gonna be on. He's a little bit smaller, but super fast, tough as hell, great vision, doesn't back down from anybody. That's the dude everybody's gonna want to see." It likely evolved from the Proto-Germanic draudan, related to dreogan ("to endure, suffer"). The noun form, meaning "great fear or apprehension," developed in Middle English.
