Olivia Munn joins stars excluded from Sanchez-Bezos wedding posting pointed comments about MacKenzie Scott

A whole host of A-listers descended on Venice this week to celebrate Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos ' lavish nuptials.
The multi-day extravaganza - thought to have cost $20 million - saw the Amazon billionaire, 61, and his journalist bride, 55, officially wed on San Maggiore island on Friday.
The likes of Sydney Sweeney, Tom Brady, Oprah Winfrey and Ivanka Trump were all in attendance.
But amid the ostentatious celebrations, there were other famous faces excluded from the guest list who have since been rallying round Jeff's ex-wife MacKenzie Scott.
MacKenzie, 55, and Jeff were married for 25 years before the divorce in 2019 saw her become the world's richest woman - walking away with $38 billion and a four percent stake in Amazon.
She has kept a low profile throughout the very public display by Lauren and Jeff with her celebrity pals now publicly offering their words of comfort.
The outpouring of support was started by 80-year-old actress Mia Farrow - whose biggest role came in psychological horror movie Rosemary's Baby - who posted an old picture of MacKenzie to Instagram on Saturday morning.
She uploaded the snap alongside a caption that read: 'How awesome is MacKenzie Scott! (Jeff Bezos' first wife and mother of his four children).
'As of mid-December 2024, she had given a total of $19.3 billion to over 1600 charitable organizations.'
Dozens of other stars then flooded to the comments to offer their own seemingly pointed views amid the wedding fanfare.
Olivia Munn wrote: 'Truly incredible.'
'She's incredible,' agreed author Cheryl Strayed.
Actress Rosanna Arquette wrote: 'She's a force of humanity and good.'
Jim Carrey's ex, actress Ginger Gonzaga, said simply: 'Perfect post.'
Shortly after her divorce from Jeff, MacKenzie pledged to give away at least half of her wealth, writing on The Giving Pledge that she had a 'disproportionate amount of money to share,' and wouldn't stop donating 'until the safe is empty.'
While MacKenzie has retained her fortune through the success of Amazon and personal business endeavors, she has been upholding her promise, with a study from February revealing her philanthropy has been 'transformational' for over 2,000 organizations.
The outpouring of support was started by 80-year-old actress Mia Farrow who posted a picture of MacKenzie to Instagram on Saturday before words of comfort from other stars flooded in
Back in Venice, Lauren took to Instagram just moments after saying 'I do' on Friday to begin her huge rebrand as she deleted all of her old Instagram posts and changed her profile to include her new surname, Bezos.
Earlier this week, she debuted a giant new wedding ring - an oval-cut diamond worth an estimated $4 million - to dwarf her existing $2.5 million engagement rock.
Courtesy of celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, the new gem is believed to weigh in at around 30 carats.
'We don't have a lot of traditions that we're keeping,' Lauren told Vogue ahead of the big day. 'I mean, I love traditions, but for a 55-year-old woman, it's a little different.'
But she did admit to keeping to the tradition of not letting her husband-to-be see her dress before the big day - despite the fact they have both been married before.
'I almost gave in,' she revealed, adding he 'begged' her for a glimpse. 'But I want it to be a surprise. As you get a little older, not many things surprise you. I can't wait to see his face.'
While her a pair of earrings served as her 'something borrowed' on the wedding day, Sanchez gave her 'something blue' a cosmic twist - carrying a secret artifact from her recent 11-minute space journey.
'Blue Origin,' Sanchez said. 'It's something from my space flight.'

Charlize Theron torches celebs attending Bezos-Sánchez wedding with shocking insult during charity speech

Charlize Theron eviscerated Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez 's wedding guest list at her charity event Block Party on Saturday night. The lavish nuptials boasted A-listers in entertainment and sports, from Tom Brady, the Kardashians, Ivanka Trump, Oprah Winfrey and more attending the Venice, Italy soiree. However, the three-day affair has also attracted criticism, with many in Venice unhappy the couple chose to hold their wedding in town, sparking protests in the city. Theron, 49, weighed in on the attendees as she hit the stage at her event, which benefits her non-profit Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project. 'I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding. But that's OK because they suck and we're cool,' she deadpanned, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The comment was likely a joke, but Theron continued expressing her outrage over politics and the 'backwards' handling of various issues. The Monster actress thanked everyone for 'taking the time to be a part of this, especially when the world feels like it's burning because it is. Here in Los Angeles, in the U.S. and across the globe, we're moving backwards fast. 'Immigration policy has destroyed the lives of families, not criminals; women's rights are becoming less and less every day; queer and trans lives are increasingly being erased; and gender-based violence is on the rise. This isn't just policy, it's personal,' she said, before adding, 'Yeah, f**k them.' Created in 2007 by Theron, CTAOP 'invests in and advances the health and safety of young people in Southern Africa to create a more equitable future for all,' according to their website. Theron herself has a personal connection to the issue of immigration - she originally hails from South Africa and came to the United States, however was deported at age 19 after she overstayed her work visa, according to THR. Ultimately, she was granted permission to return and in 2007 became a U.S. citizen. 'I got deported when I was 19 for producing and financing a documentary on Cuba,' she told OK! in 2008. 'You don't want to keep pushing your luck. I only became an American citizen last year,' she added. She told Vogue of becoming a U.S. citizen back in a 2007 interview: 'After the last two elections I kind of went, You know what? If this is where I'm going to live, I want to be able to vote. 'I don't want to just talk a good game. I want to be able to be involved without having some horrible fear that I'm going to get kicked out.' Theron brought her mother and numerous friends along as she became a naturalized citizen in a day-long event in downtown Los Angeles. 'My mom got really emotional,' Theron continued. 'She was like: "We're Americans!" You know, you stand up and you take your oath and you get a piece of paper personally written from President Bush, welcoming you to America. 'But it's weird. There's something in my blood that will always be South African. Even if I wanted to, I don't think I could ever lose that.' Described as the 'wedding of a century,' Bezos and Sanchez exchanged vows in front of nearly 200 VIPs on San Giorgio Maggiore island in Venice, Italy, on Friday. Oprah Winfrey, Tom Brady, Kim Kardashian, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kylie Jenner, Usher, Khloe Kardashian and new bachelor Orlando Bloom were among those who were present to see Bezos and Sanchez exchange vows. But the couple's arrival in Venice was far from smooth sailing, with the duo plagued by protesters who were furious the needs of local residents were allegedly being sidelined to make way for wealthy tourists. Bezos is worth around $224.6 billion and is thought to have spent tens of millions on his wedding. 'If you can rent Venice for your wedding, you can pay more tax,' one gigantic banner read in St. Mark's Square. Greenpeace and the UK-based collective Everyone Hates Elon joined protests in Venice attempting to disrupt, or even prevent, the planned wedding celebrations of Amazon founder Bezos. 'Jeff Bezos is the second-richest man in the world yet is reported to pay a 1.1 percent true tax rate,' the two groups previously said in a joint statement. 'The multi-million-dollar wedding is reportedly happening over three days, with the wedding ring alone worth as much as $5million.' A spokesperson from Everyone Hates Elon previously said: 'As governments talk about hard choices and struggle to fund public services, Jeff Bezos can afford to shut down half a city for days on end just to get married.' Venice mayor Luigi Brugnaro and regional governor Luca Zaia have spoken out in favor of the nuptials, which have been dubbed, 'the wedding of the century,' pointing out that the celebrations are expected to bring $23-34million to local businesses.

Russell Crowe cut a dashing figure when he attended the Golden Bee Awards in Malta on Sunday. The 60-year-old was looking trim and terrific in an all-black look that consisted of an immaculately tailored suit paired with a crisp black dress shirt and vest. The Gladiator star added a pop of colour to his monochrome display with a golden pocket square. Russell's fiancée Britney Theriot also attended the event, and looked equally stylish in a longline shift dress. The Broken City actress opted to keep her accessories to a minimum, but carried a chic designer handbag. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. At one point, Russell was photographed catching up with comedian-turned-author David Walliams. It comes after Russell ignited rumours he is set to tie the knot with Britney in Rome. The pair sparked speculation they are engaged when Britney was seen sporting a diamond ring. Claims are circulating they are eyeing up an Italian wedding after reportedly visiting a church during their latest visit to the city. The couple, who started dating in 2020, visited Rome last year when Russell performed with his band The Gentlemen Barbers at the Forum Theatre. They were spotted sightseeing during their lavish getaway and reportedly visited a church in the city. ' Italy was always going to be their wedding destination. Every time they go there, they come back more in love,' an insider told Woman's Day. 'It's always been their dream to get married there.' Russell and Britney frequently visit Italy together and first sparked engagement rumours during a trip to the European country last year. The pair then confirmed their long-rumoured romance with a kiss on a tennis court in November 2020. The couple are regularly seen jetting between Sydney and Coffs Harbour, where Russell is building a $400million film studio dubbed 'Aussiewood '. The Beautiful Mind star owns a 400hectare farm in nearby Nana Glen, and divides his time between this rural estate and his home in Sydney. Russell was previously married to Australian actress Danielle, 55, having tied the knot in April 2003 during a ceremony at his farm in Nana Glen. The couple welcomed two sons together but went their separate ways in 2012 and finalised their divorce six years later. Despite their high-profile split, Danielle previously told Stellar magazine the couple are still friends and see one another as 'family'. 'We have a lot of respect for each other and I consider him to be a member of my family,' she said. 'The marriage ended, but that didn't mean our friendship ended. We've had holidays together in the past and we can happily sit down and chat.'
