Rosie Roche, a 20-year-old distant cousin of Princes William and Harry and the granddaughter of Princess Diana's uncle, was found dead at her family home in Norton, Wiltshire, England on July 14.
According to an inquiry, a firearm was discovered near her body, reported The Sun.
She was discovered by her mother and sister after she had been packing for a trip with friends.
An inquest into her death was opened at Wiltshire and Swindon coroner's court and has been adjourned until October 25. Area coroner Grant Davies stated that police 'have deemed the death as non-suspicious and there was no third-party involvement,' with no indication of foul play.
An official investigation is underway to determine the complete circumstances of death.
Rosie was a student of English literature at Durham University. A spokeswoman said she 'will be sorely missed.'
An obituary published in The Yorkshire Post on July 19 announced that Rosie, a distant cousin of Princes William and Harry, will have a private funeral attended by family, with a memorial service planned for a later date.

Chandigarh: The Chandigarh municipal corporation (MCC) has submitted a detailed action taken report (ATR) to the UT administration in a high-stakes financial default case involving the city's paid parking contractor. Ghaziabad: A 30-year-old kanwar pilgrim who was critically injured after an ambulance crashed into a group of devotees returning from Haridwar on two-wheelers near Kadrabad village last week succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, taking the total death toll in the incident to four. The accident, which occurred late on July 19 on the Delhi-Meerut expressway (DME), had earlier claimed three lives and left three others injured. Police said Ajay Kumar was a resident of Harsh Vihar in Delhi, had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Meerut. "He succumbed to his injuries on Friday evening," a senior police official said. The three victims who died shortly after the crash were identified as Ritik Singh (23), Abhinav Samaniya (25), and Sachin Kumar (38), also known as Johnny. Sachin was travelling with Ajay on a scooter, while Ritik and Abhinav were on a motorcycle. According to police, the ambulance was returning from Meerut after dropping off a patient when the driver tried to avoid a pedestrian around 11.45pm and ended up hitting the two two-wheelers heading towards Haridwar. Police said Akash and his friends, Anshul Awasthi (25) and Rahul Chaubey (23), all residents of Bhangel in Noida, were returning from Haridwar with Ganga water when Akash, who was driving, allegedly dozed off near the Bhojpur toll plaza. "They were speeding and the impact of the crash threw all three several metres away," said ACP (Modinagar) Gyan Prakash Rai. Commuters alerted police, and the trio was rushed to a hospital in Meerut.
