Oasis fan shows off huge reunion tattoo 12 hours after they came off stage

Daily Mirror16 hours ago
One Oasis fan went to extreme measures to become what he hopes is the first person to get a tattoo of the reunion tour after selecting a legendary first night image from Cardiff
An Oasis mega fan wasted no time getting the tattoo of his dreams - hours after an iconic photo of the band's comeback was taken.
The diehard was so desperate to mark the reunion that he had booked in to get inked the morning after their first performance in Cardiff. It is understood to be the first Oasis tour tattoo and the fan, identified only as Wayne, was determined to make his choice something special.

Picking the moment once-warring bothers Liam and Noel Gallagher embraced in front of the crowd on opening night, a photo of the cuddle was swiftly transformed into a leg tattoo. Artist Alfie Ware showed off his incredible work on his Instagram page, and it's fair to say it went down a storm.

"Wrapped up the last piece of Wayne's Oasis leg sleeve this morning, this shot's from their first gig back together last night," he wrote on his page, which displays some of the tats undertaken at Studio S2 in Alvechurch, Worcestershire. "Probably the first to get this photo tattooed as we started it 12 hours after it was taken. Was an absolute pleasure."
Alfie's followers were understandably impressed by his attention to detail, and the image Wayne had selected. "That was so quick!" one told him. Another of the group's fans put: "Would get that exact sleeve myself!" Everyone concerned hopes the ink stands the test of time - and there's no big sibling fall out.
When Liam and Noel took to the stage in Cardiff walking out hand in hand, it was a sight many of their original fans thought they would never see in their lifetime - so in order to maintain their amicable reunion, it has emerged that the brothers were advised to stay in separate hotels for the first gig of their world tour, in a desperate bid to avoid a clash.
The brothers, who are famed for their volatile relationship, were placed in hotels half an hour away from each other. According to The Sun on Sunday, the famous duo skipped partying after their first night in the Welsh city and were driven away from the Principality Stadium at approximately 10.30pm.
A source told the publication: "The atmosphere was absolutely electric and Liam and Noel were delighted with the first night. They were a bit shell-shocked."

They added: "It went better than anyone could have imagined. The lead up has all been carefully orchestrated, as everyone knows how delicate and fragile Liam and Noel's relationship is."
The insider close to the band continued: "They don't want to over-expose themselves to each other. Having separate residences is the best option so they can relax in their own space." They explained: "They stayed in separate locations outside the city around half an hour away from each other."
"They're happy families at the moment and they want to keep it that way. Liam has been off the booze for a while and sounds better than ever," they added. According to the source, Liam is determined to get eight hours sleep a night and is steering clear of alcohol and partying.

Fans were left in awe as the band, who were once synonymous with the stereotypical rock and roll lifestyle, belted out their iconic hits including Wonderwall, Stand By Me, Live Forever and Half The World Away. And it seems a contributing factor in Liam's clean living lifestyle is his partner Debbie Gwyther.

The source continued: "Debbie protects him from all the hype so he doesn't get carried away. They've swapped out Guinness for zero per cent alcohol beers and keep the vibe backstage as chilled as possible." Partying in the crows were Noel's daughter Anais, 25 and her mum Meg Matthews, 59. Liam's sons Lennon, 25 and Gene, 24, were also at Friday's gig.
It has been reported that the Cardiff gig was emotional for their children who never thought the day would arrive when they would see their dad on stage as Oasis. And Anais was reportedly a "driving force in helping to reunite the brothers who at the time showed no intention of making the peace.

Belly dancer influencer arrested for ‘using seduction techniques' and ‘exposing sensitive areas' in viral online vids

Videos of her performing in popular clubs to various Egyptian hit songs have garnered millions of views across various social media platforms. But an investigation was reportedly triggered by one of her most shared videos, where Linda performs in a cabaret in a traditional belly dancing costume. The Cairo prosecutor's office accuses the young woman of having "used seduction techniques and provocative dances to incite vice". According to authorities' report, in some videos Linda "deliberately wore provocative clothing and performed dance movements with sexual allusions" They say she therefore disrespected "public decency" and the "values of family and society". Investigators also argued the artist "appeared in indecent clothing, deliberately exposing sensitive areas of her body, in clear violation of social values". She denies all the charges against her and claims she practices her profession in compliance with the law. The dancer said after being arrested: "I have the permits to practice my activity and all the videos circulating on social media are normal. "It is a permitted dance performance and does not contain anything that violates or goes against public morals." Irish TD Paul Murphy detained in Egypt and passport confiscated after bus stopped amid March to Gaza She added that the content she records is "only for entertainment purposes". Whilst belly dancing isn't prohibited in Egypt, videos on social media have to comply with the country's values. Egypt has increased its cruel crackdowns on artists and influences accused of offending public morals. Under Abdel Fattah Al Sisi's government, at least five belly dancers have been horrifically jailed on charges similar to those given to Linda. The Pharaoh nation sucks in a staggering 18 million tourists each year, and the industry props up around 10 per cent of the whole economy. But beyond the plush resorts of the popular Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada - Egypt is covering up its dark underbelly. The country's brutal police force deals in bribes and locks people up on bogus charges, including Brit holidaymakers. Egypt's picture-postcard image is being tested, with a former British ambassador to the country recently branding it a "police state". 5 Videos of her performing in popular clubs to various Egyptian hit songs have garnered millions of views Credit: Instagram

This Morning's Vanessa Feltz makes sad admission after split from partner

This Morning star Vanessa Feltz has opened up on life since her split from partner Ben Ofoedu in 2023 This Morning star Vanessa Feltz has made a sad admission after her split from her partner. The 63-year-old broadcaster initially tied the knot with surgeon Michael Kurer back in 1983, before their marriage ended in divorce in 2000. Together they welcomed daughters Allegra and Saskia, and now have four grandchildren. ‌ Vanessa later got engaged to musician Ben Ofoedu in 2006. Despite initially planning to wed the following year, the couple remained engaged throughout their time together without getting married. ‌ In February 2023, Vanessa revealed that she and Ben had called time on their relationship. Shortly after their separation, Vanessa opened up on This Morning about coping with the split, reports Wales Online. ‌ "People have been amazing. Absolutely amazing, and of course it helps a lot," she told presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby at the time. "I can't sleep at all, so reading thousands and thousands of messages from lovely people on Instagram is something to do in the night." She added: "When you have to end a relationship it's very hard. I've had what feels like millions of messages from so, so many people going through it. ‌ "I wouldn't want to minimise in any way what it's like when you're heartbroken. It's horrible." More than two years later, Vanessa has provided a fresh insight into her life post-split, where she made a sad admission. ‌ During an interview with Radio Times, Vanessa was quizzed about who has control over the television remote in her household. She candidly replied: "I live on my own these days. I've been out every night for two years and five months. "There have only been maybe five nights where it's been me in front of the TV with my dinner on a tray, because I don't want to be at home, eating alone." Vanessa currently presents her self-titled Channel 5 daytime talk show, which was advertised as a rival to ITV favourite Loose Women. Yet, the programme has come under fire recently, racking up nearly 2,000 Ofcom complaints following an episode that sparked controversy over allegedly "misleading" content regarding breastfeeding.
