Reigning champ Luke Littler is out to defend his crown in the capital.
But it was Paton's "delightful" wardrobe choice that had darts fans talking before the opening match.
The 30-year-old rocked a fitted black dress and matching tights, along with black heels.
One lovestruck fan wrote on X: "Emma Paton looking absolutely delightful once again."
A second gasped: "Emma Paton what a woman."
While a third commented: "The last, Emma Paton Thursdays, for 2025."
Paton turned heads earlier this month with a daring outfit choice at the Bafta TV awards.
The darts presenter revealed she rented the £631 dress through Hurr, a fashion rental and resale platform.

Littler, 18, is the big favourite to retain his title at the O2.
The teenager hit a nine-darter in the 2024 final as he bagged the £275,000 prize.
Littler has since become world champion, with rival Nathan Aspinall suggesting The Nuke would not be playing darts in five years due to "burnout"
Responding to the comments, Littler said: "I know I've heard that, I don't know where he's got that from.

Celtic ‘in the mix' to sign Manchester City starlet who's started in UCL but ‘face competition from Championship sides'
CELTIC boss Brendan Rodgers urged his board to make more new signings after their 5-1 friendly defeat to Ajax. And the Hoops are reportedly looking to add defensive reinforcements from the top of the English Premier League. Simpson-Pusey made his first City appearance against the Hoops last summer, starting in a friendly in North Carolina which Celts won 4-3. The centre-back made his senior debut last season too and played six times in total for Pep Guardiola's side, including starts in the Premier League and Champions League. Those starts came during a difficult spell for City though and included a 4-1 defeat to Sporting CP, with Simpson-Pusey returning to the club's academy team for the last few months of the campaign. Advertisement The 19-year-old ended up being named Premier League 2 Player of the Year as he captained City to the title, and now reportedly wants to test himself back in senior football. The report claims that Celts will face competition from the English Championship for Simpson-Pusey, but that their status as a European side who will be competing for titles could make them favourites for his signature. It's also reported that the Manchester native will be the one to decide his destination for the 25/26 season. Rodgers has already seen central defenders Maik Nawrocki and Gustaf Lagerbielke move on this summer, with Stephen Walsh possibly also on the way out. Advertisement Simpson-Pusey would be the latest in a line of players to star for both the Hoops and City. The 2000s saw the likes of Craig Bellamy, Georgios Samaras and Willo Flood feature for both sides. Shock scenes as Celtic and Ajax fans clash during Como Cup friendly tournament in Italy City's 2008 takeover and subsequent success meant that many of the ex-Blues to play for Celtic in the 2010s were younger players sent to cut their teeth north of the border. Amongst them were stars such as Scott Sinclair, Patrick Roberts and Jeremie Frimpong. Advertisement Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

Simon Cowell makes bold claim about reality show as pal warns 'you'll literally die'
Lucy Spraggan has revealed the warning she gave pal Simon Cowell after he made bold claim about a future appearance on a Channel 4 reality TV series Simon Cowell is usually seen sitting behind a desk, but if he had had his way, things could have been a lot different. The Britain's Got Talent and X Factor judge is known for his cutting comments on the talent shows. But the music mogul, 65, was tempted to try his luck on a different reality show, according to a close friend. Lucy Spraggan, who rose to fame on the X Factor before growing close to Simon, claims he had shown an interest in extreme challenge show, SAS: Who Dares Wins. With Lucy set to appear on the Channel 4 show, she revealed Simon told her it was a "great idea" for her to take part. Speaking to the Sun, Lucy said: "He knows I love being outdoors. We do a lot of shooting air rifles and stuff together, so he knows this is my thing, testing my mental resilience." But she admitted the funny moment he told her: "Oh, maybe I'll try and have a go at it." Lucy said she told her pal he would "literally die". "It was funny because it really contextualised how hard it was that I just straight away said to him, 'You would have no chance'. She added: "But Lauren [Silverman, Cowell's wife], I said to her at dinner the other day, 'You should have a go'. She could do it, it would be funny." The upcoming series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins sees Lucy join a new cast of famous faces to take on the challenge. This year has seen Channel 4 bosses choose a wide selection of stars from football, reality TV and even a woman made famous as one of the 'Peru Two' drug smugglers. Michaella McCollum is part of the current line up alongside other star names like Rebecca Loos, who had a rumoured fling with David Beckham. Former Premier League footballer Troy Deeney is also in the lineup, as is former Love Island star Adam Collard. Fans will see Loos face a brutal Beckham grilling on the show over 'mistakes'. Loos was Beckham's personal assistant in 2003 and claims broke the following year about them having a four month fling. Beckham said reports of the affair were 'ludicrous' at the time but never mounted a legal challenge to the story or any subsequent interviews. Loos went on to appear on reality shows like The Farm and Celebrity Love Island before stepping out of the limelight and is now a yoga teacher in Norway. On her TV comeback on Channel 4 this week, Rebecca said: 'I just wanted to show people who I am and just be myself, which has always been my thing. And I just went in it with a very open mind and take it as it comes."
