Reigning champ Luke Littler is out to defend his crown in the capital.
But it was Paton's "delightful" wardrobe choice that had darts fans talking before the opening match.
The 30-year-old rocked a fitted black dress and matching tights, along with black heels.
One lovestruck fan wrote on X: "Emma Paton looking absolutely delightful once again."
A second gasped: "Emma Paton what a woman."
While a third commented: "The last, Emma Paton Thursdays, for 2025."
Paton turned heads earlier this month with a daring outfit choice at the Bafta TV awards.
The darts presenter revealed she rented the £631 dress through Hurr, a fashion rental and resale platform.

Littler, 18, is the big favourite to retain his title at the O2.
The teenager hit a nine-darter in the 2024 final as he bagged the £275,000 prize.
Littler has since become world champion, with rival Nathan Aspinall suggesting The Nuke would not be playing darts in five years due to "burnout"
Responding to the comments, Littler said: "I know I've heard that, I don't know where he's got that from.

"Don't worry, I'll be here in 10 years.
"It's crazy to even think about retiring. If I win 16 world titles like Phil [Taylor], I'll retire.
"But I'm not even thinking about retirement at the minute - the money is there to be won, especially the World Championship but not only that everything has gone up.

Liverpool agree Luis Diaz transfer with £65.5m exit imminent

Luis Diaz is set to leave Liverpool for Bayern Munich, with a €75 million (£65.5m) deal agreed for the Colombian. The Reds are on a pre-season tour in Japan and Diaz has been given permission to leave the trip in order to complete his move to the German giants. Despite an impressive season with Liverpool last time round, which finished with a Premier League title, Diaz has been linked with an exit all summer. Barcelona were interested in the winger, but Liverpool rejected an approach earlier in the transfer window. However, their position has now changed and have decided to cash in on the 28-year-old in a busy summer in the transfer market for the champions. Wake up to find news on your club in your inbox every morning with Metro's Football Newsletter. Diaz is under contract with Liverpool until 2027 and The Times report that there have been two attempts to agree a new deal but an agreement could not be reached. There was reportedly too big a gap in what the club were willing to offer and the wage demands of the player. Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra reports that Bayern are in negotiations with Diaz and will likely offer him a four or five year deal in Bavaria. The Colombia international will leave Anfield having made 148 appearances for the club in all competitions and scoring 41 goals. He has added a Premier League, FA Cup and two Carabao Cups to his CV, while he won a Champions League runner-up medal with the Reds. Diaz will join Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarell Quansah, Caoimhín Kelleher and Nat Phillips in leaving Liverpool this summer, while his departure could help facilitate another big signing. The Premier League champions have already spent over £260m on the likes of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez and may well not be finished. There could still be a blockbuster move for Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak, who has made it clear to the Magpies that he wants to explore a move elsewhere. The Swedish superstar will likely cost around £150m, so the Reds would probably have to secure some more sales to get a deal done for the 25-year-old. Darwin Nunez is available for transfer, with interest from Italy and Saudi Arabia, but a deal does not appear close at this stage. More Trending The signs suggest Isak will be leaving Newcastle, though, as he is not with the rest of the squad on their pre-season tour of Asia. Eddie Howe's team were beaten by Arsenal in a friendly in Singapore on Sunday and was asked if there was the possibility that Isak could join them before the tour is over, but he said: 'No chance.' Isak has also emerged as a target for the Saudi Pro League but he is believed to want to remain in the Premier League, with Liverpool the clear favourites to sign him this summer. Opening up on life inside the dressing room, Le Saux told The Telegraph: "I can comfortably say that the environment I went into at Chelsea was incredibly tough and very debilitating in many ways. "I always had that sporting anger and I was very competitive. That was in me. "Stepping into Chelsea's then training ground there was no duty of care. It was all about banter in the worst possible way. "They said: 'Oh, we are toughening you up'." Le Saux's mum Daphne sadly died when he was just 13 while he was playing in a football tournament in France. He admitted: "If I hadn't been through what I went through as a youngster and my mum dying, I may not have been able to survive." Le Saux previously said he felt targeted due to his unconventional lifestyle that saw him go to university and read The Guardian newspaper in the dressing room. Abuse once came from Robbie Fowler on the pitch in 1999, who repeatedly bent over and pointed to his backside in the left-back's direction. The Liverpool striker later apologised in an interview in 2014 and Le Saux has forgiven him. After hanging up his boots 20 years ago, Le Saux went on to hold positions at Real Mallorca and the FA. He now works as a pundit for NBC Sports in the US and he runs an AI company that analyses football teams and players. 4 Le Saux was taunted on the pitch by Fowler Credit: News Group Newspapers Ltd
