Latest figures for Stanted Promotions Ltd, which John Stones runs with his dad Pete, show the England star made £1.8m in off-field earnings last year — despite just six Premier League starts for City through injury.
Stones, 31, has lucrative deals with Nike and online trading broker Axi.
He also has a real estate business with properties worth £4.4m.
Stones has been tipped to make a shock return to Everton this summer.
He left the Toffees in a £50m transfer to Man City in 2016 - at the time making him the second most expensive defender in history behind David Luiz.
The centre-back has since gone on to play 277 times for the Cityzens.
He has scored 19 goals and provided nine assists.
But crucially, his defensive prowess helped the club win 17 honours with him.
However, fitness problems have plagued his time at the Etihad and last season he managed just 20 games under Pep Guardiola.
These include six Premier League titles, one Champions League, two FA Cups, four League Cups, the Fifa Club World Cup, the Uefa SuperCup and two Community Shields.
Kyle Walker completes Burnley transfer as they unveil him in 'best announcement video ever'
A move back to boyhood club Everton could pave the way for City to move for Jarrad Branthwaite.
His expected exit comes after Kyle Walker joined Burnley.

Aussie who made soccer history when he came out as gay reveals his huge life change - with a touch of mystery

A-League star Josh Cavallo has revealed he is relocating to the United Kingdom with his fiancé - but his sporting future remains unknown. Cavallo, 25, rose to international prominence in 2021 when he became the first openly gay male footballer actively playing in a top-flight league. At the time, the Adelaide United defender stated he didn't want to feel ashamed about his sexuality and was exhausted after trying to live a 'double life'. Taking to Instagram on Monday, Cavallo told his 1.1 million followers he is looking forward to living in England. 'It's not goodbye forever but now, it's time to leave the nest with my fiancé by my side,' his post began. 'Football and life have taken me further than I ever imagined, and new opportunities have led to a new life waiting for us across the world. Taking to Instagram on Monday, Cavallo (pictured right with Morrell) told his 1.1 million Instagram followers he is looking forward to living in England 'I never imagined that living my truth would unlock doors from the pitch to every corner of my personal life. 'Whether you've followed my journey from the beginning or found strength in it along the way, your presence has meant more than words can ever say. 'Especially to the LGBTQ+ community, you are the reason I never gave up. 'You helped me see that I wasn't alone and that none of us are. For the boy who once looked in the mirror and questioned why he was different, this is proof that you can find your place in this world.' The first professional player to come out while still playing was Britain's Justin Fashanu in 1990, but he never found acceptance in the game and tragically took his own life in 1998. Once he made his announcement, Cavallo received support on social media from the likes of Matildas skipper Sam Kerr, ex-Barcelona defender Gerard Pique and former England striker Gary Lineker. He also labelled the support from Adelaide United teammates and officials 'immense', before adding he wanted to be a positive role model for gay footballers. 'It's OK to be gay and play football - I want to show all the other people who are struggling and are scared,' Cavallo said. The left back came through the youth ranks at Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City before securing an A-League move to Western United in 2019. He played 10 matches for the Green and Black before signing a short contract with Adelaide United in 2021. In May, Adelaide United confirmed Cavallo was departing the club, labelling their former star a 'symbol of courage, authenticity and positive change.' Daily Mail Australia reached out to Cavallo and Wax - who manage the athlete - regarding any potential football opportunities abroad.

Best air fryer deals in the Amazon Prime Day 2025 sale

The best air fryer deals in Amazon Prime Day have officially landed, and it's here in my dedicated shopping guide that you'll find the top tried-and-tested picks for less. A good air fryer starts at around the £60 mark, but some of the best models can cost upwards of £200, which is why a sales event is the perfect time to make a saving. Whether you need a compact model for couples cooking or a dual-drawer appliance for big family meals, there are plenty of bargains on offer. Right now, you can save more than 30 per cent on Ninja's double stack XL air fryer (was £269.99, now £184.99, which received high praise when appliance expert Katie Gregory put it to the test. If you're looking for something smaller, you won't want to miss out on the discount on Salter's compact air fryer (was £34.99, now £29.49, which is perfect for solo dwellers. If neither of those super savings takes your fancy, I'm on hand throughout the sale event to bring you the best air fryer offers from trusted brands. Keep scrolling for the top offers. The IndyBest team have been testing the top air fryer models since 2019, comparing Ninja models to budget buys, proving we know how to spot easy-to-clean models, a multi-functional buy and a great bargain. The team and I also track the price of air fryers year-round so that we can spot a good deal from a bad one, which is crucial for Amazon Prime Day. We would only ever recommend models we've tried and tested or that come from brands and retailers we trust. Ninja has plenty of impressive air fryers to choose from, but if you're short on countertop space and don't want another appliance taking up room, the double stack XL is an excellent choice. It has a chunky 31 per cent off in the Prime Day sale, bringing it to £185. Flipping the typical dual drawer air fryer on its head, quite literally, to make the most of the vertical space in your kitchen, this slimline design was a big hit with our reviewer. They praised its 'sync function, which lets you cook two different things at different temperatures and durations', as well as its size that's 'slimmer than some single-drawer air fryers'. Tower has followed in the footsteps of Ninja with its own double stacked air fryer. It's made up of two 5.5l baskets, with plenty of space to cook family-sized meals, and pre-set cooking functions that include fries, wings, steak, veg, bake and DIY. You can get it for close to £100 in the Prime Day sale, which is significantly cheaper than Ninja's double stacked offering. The price of this Tefal easy-fry dual-zone digital air-fryer has been slashed by a huge 44 per cent. This is the cheapest we've seen the air fryer drop on Amazon. With two drawers, you can cook two items at once, in the same way, or on different settings at the same time. Our tester, Katie, reviewed the XXL version and praised its 'easy-to-use controls, the dishwasher-safe baskets and trays, and the family-sized proportions'. We've spotted another Ninja air fryer deal and this time it's on the foodi max dual zone air fryer. The two-drawer air fryer has six cooking functions and a spacious 9.5l capacity. Our reviewer was impressed that the six-in-one appliance 'has every cooking setting you could possibly need' and liked that it 'takes the guesswork out of timing and temperature'. Right now, it has 35 per cent off in the Prime Day sale and you won't find it much cheaper than this. Rusell Hobbs' cooking appliances frequently make it into our round-up of the best air fryers, so we were pleased to spot one at more than half price in the Prime Day sale. This model has a single 8l drawer, 10 cooking functions and even an audible shake reminder for the foods that need it. If you're looking for a no-frills air fryer for less than £100, we think you can't go too wrong with this deal. This dual air fryer has a huge, single 10.4l drawer, which can be split in half to separately cook both components of your meal, such as salmon and vegetables. Our reviewer was impressed with its versatility and wrote: 'If you want an air fryer that can do it all, this is it'. It's been reduced by £80 in the Prime Day sale, which is an even bigger discount than we saw back in March during Amazon's Spring Sale. Considering air fryers can set you back hundreds of pounds, this deal on a model from IndyBest's tried and tested brand, Salter, is seriously impressive. Now less than £30, the compact 2l model is perhaps best suited to solo dwellers. While it doesn't come with all the bells and whistles of some other devices, it does have an auto-shutoff function, a timer that can be set up to 30 minutes, and a temperature dial. Cosori's multi-purpose air fryer is discounted by 30 per cent. The brand comes approved by IndyBest, with one of its other models landing a spot in our review of the best air fryers (you can check out our review of the dual blaze twinfry air fryer here), so we're fairly confident this won't be a dud. It's suitable for families as it's big enough to cook up to four portions of food, and it can also defrost, reheat and more. Looking for an air fryer that does more than just fry? Look no further. The Ninja Speedi has 10 functions, including air fry, steam, grill, bake, roast, sear, slow cook and more. Whatever you need to cook, it'll help you feed your family in minutes - in fact, Ninja says the Speedi can cook a three-part meal for four in fifteen minutes. In last year's Prime Day sale, we saw it drop by £130, but this is still a decent 39 per cent saving. If you're running short on kitchen counter space, this compact 4l Zwilling air fryer is worth a look. Chips came out 'perfectly crispy', according to our tester, Rachael, while the temperature accuracy was spot on. Amazon has slashed the price of this air fryer by 20 per cent – it's not the cheapest it's ever been, but it is still a fair saving. An air fryer with a difference, the crispi comes with glass bowls so you can keep a close eye on your food as it cooks, and now it has 31 per cent off on Amazon. Our reviewer, Alex, called it a 'game changer' and praised the 'modular design' that 'makes it easier to store, clean and maybe even upgrade in the future if Ninja releases bigger bowls'. We're hoping for even further discounts to this innovative air fryer when Prime Day deals drop next week. When is Amazon Prime Day 2025? Amazon Prime Day is set to return on Tuesday 8 July, and will last four days until Friday 11 July. Last year, the sale took place over two days, but this year, you'll have even longer to shop the best offers. What is Amazon Prime Day? Prime Day is one of Amazon's biggest sales events of the year. Prime members can expect member-exclusive discounts on tech such as laptops and TVs, as well as beauty, mattresses and of course, air fryers. In previous years, we've also seen discounts on top brands across product categories, including Ninja, Apple and Elemis. Do you need to be a Prime member? Yes, you'll need to be a Prime member to make the most of the discounts. A Prime membership costs £8.99 a month, or £95 if you pay annually. Students and young people (from 18 to 22 years old) can benefit from a 50 per cent discount. Perks include unlimited one-day delivery, access to Prime Video and the chance to shop member-exclusive deals. If you're yet to sign up for a Prime membership, you can register for a 30-day free trial just before the sale starts. This will give you access to the limited-time discounts, and you can cancel for free before the membership fee kicks in. Keep in mind, the free trial is only for new Prime customers or for those who haven't been a member in the last 12 months.

QUENTIN LETTS: The yelps of Tory mirth could have been the canned laughter they used on The Flintstones

could – arguably should – have been at the Commons despatch box to answer questions about her fiscal rules. Instead we had Darren Jones, Treasury chief secretary. Mr Jones is one of life's assistant hotel managers. Never raises his voice. Smells faintly of geraniums. With his clean fingernails and corrugated hairdo he is normally rather good at handling complaints from shouty guests. Even this suave under-strapper was some way off his best. He gabbled. Those youthful hands shook. He kept fiddling with his wedding ring and his courtesy frayed like used dental floss. There was, mind you, one respect in which his performance was a success: he did not start blubbing. Supporters of the Chancellor will say Cabinet ministers never turn up for Opposition fishing expeditions. True. Yet, after last week's lamentations from Ms Reeves and the financial markets' twitchiness, this light-ish Monday afternoon event might have been a chance for her to reassert herself. Has her nerve snapped? Is she still weepy? Was she worried she might say something injudicious and again make City graphs resemble Donald Trump's autograph? Sir Mel Stride, Shadow Chancellor, enjoyed his sport. 'This is a Government divided, a Government wrecking the public finances,' hollered Sir Mel. There are not many Conservatives at Westminster nowadays but the life raft's survivors look a lot perkier than they did a year ago. Or a month ago. Mr Jones pushed out his jaw and said: 'Liz Truss.' That, in short, was his response to every sally from the Tories. 'Liz Truss, Liz Truss, Liz Truss.' It made Labour backbenchers feel a little less wretched. They could console themselves that they were not as bad as the Trussette. Except... they were! Two Tories pointed out that borrowing costs under Starmer-Reeves are higher than they were under Truss-Kwarteng. This apparently came as news to Mr Jones. One Labour MP referred to Ms Truss as 'the previous prime minister', as if Rishi Sunak had never existed. Perhaps they feared that Rishi and Jeremy Hunt might now be felt to have made a better fist of things than the nasal knight and Madame Waterworks. At this stage in a parliament, you would expect a government to have impetus. You would expect it still to be talking about terrific new policies that would soon be introduced. What was striking about Mr Jones's appearance was how there was almost none of that. He was entirely defensive and backward-looking. 'Liz Truss, Liz Truss.' The great ship of state is becalmed. As in Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, the decks are warping, seawater laps lifelessly at the bows and crew members are parched. Labour MPs did not have enough to cheer. Nor did anyone, save two members of the Whips' Office, turn up on the front bench to support Mr Jones. 'Business confidence is rising,' he insisted. It caused a certain amusement. 'We're not going to put the nation's finances at risk,' he averred. Tory voice: 'You already have!' Now Mr Jones was speaking of how Ms Reeves 'updated the definition of debt'. This won such a yelp of Tory mirth, it could have been the canned laughter they used on The Flintstones. Mr Jones bridled at that and snapped that the Tories had 'no plans'. Well, no, they don't. But that is a line of argument for year four in a parliament. At the start of year two, a minister should brim with his own shiny solutions. Where is the impetus? To employ a different maritime analogy, motorboats need to keep whooshing forwards. If they stop, the water-skier goes glug-glug-glug and all you smell is failure. Warinder Juss (Lab, Wolverhampton West) cried: 'This Government has had the courage to make the difficult decisions necessary!' Joyous knee-slapping from HM's Official Opposition. The Lib Dems did not join this scoffing. Having sucked up to the Starmerites almost as much as dopey Brother Juss, they must be wondering if their dreams of coalition with Sir Keir will ever float.
