Jasmin Bhasin Slams Trolls Bashing Her Inter-Faith Relation With Aly Goni: 'Shame'
Jasmin Bhasin lashed out at trolls for making negative comments on her inter-faith relation and asked them not to interfere in their lives.
Jasmin Bhasin has opened up about her inter-faith relationship with Aly Goni. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that even though she and Aly were also in love with each other, they decided to give it a chance only when they participated in Bigg Boss 14.
'Aly and I met as friends, then Bigg Boss happened. I was going on the show, and before that, we discussed that staying together was not an option for us. Then he came on the show and said, 'let's give it a try'. We were always in love, just that we were in denial and also not ready for it at that time," Jasmin told SCREEN.
The actress then explained, 'We were such good friends, enjoyed each other's company a lot, later we decided that some distance was important so we could move on in life. If we had this clarity that we both could not be partners, and could not see a future together, then what was the point of hurting each other, getting into a relationship, and making it toxic? It was better to be best friends, it's emotions at the end of the day, so if someone is around you, always moving on gets difficult. In that break, he realised that he wanted to give us a try, and I was always okay with it."
Jasmin further lashed out at trolls for making negative comments on her inter-faith relation and asked them not to interfere in their lives.
'The relationship is between the two of us, we have an understanding, we have had these conversations. We have reached a common ground, we have accepted each other the way we are. We are sorted between us, so nobody's opinions matter. Still, if people give negative opinions that can affect our relationship, then shame on them. The world needs love and positivity. If two people are happy, others can keep their stupid opinions to themselves, and if they are so clever, they should focus on sorting their own lives. This is our life, and we will figure it out," she said.
On the work front, Jasmin Bhasin has worked in several successful television shows like Dil Se Dil Tak, Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji and Naagin 4, among others. Besides Bigg Boss, Jasmin also participated in the action reality show, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi – Made in India. She also made her debut in the Punjabi film industry in 2022 with the movie Honeymoon, which also starred Gippy Grewal in the lead.

In conversation with India Forums, Anita Hassanandani, who has been prominent in the entertainment world for many years, was asked if she would be interested in appearing on the controversial reality show Bigg Boss. In response, the actress stated that she does not believe she is suitable for the show. 'Honestly, I don't think I am made for Bigg Boss. Mai agar karna bhi chahu toh they will only be hesitant kyuki joh voh chahte hai mai voh shayad de nahi paungi (Even if I want to do, they will be hesitant because what they want maybe I can't give them that)," she said. Framed as a reality-based social experiment rather than a competition, the show will unfold over several weeks. Joining Anita Hassanandani on the show are several familiar faces, including Aamna Sharif, Aishwarya Khare, Chahat Pandey, Anjum Fakih, Sana Makbul, Maera Mishra, and others. Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 19 will premiere in the last week of August and will run for a full five months. Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
