Noel and Liam Gallagher hold hands in historic moment as Oasis tour kicks off
Once-feuding brothers Noel, 58, Liam Gallagher, 52, last performed together in 2009, and no one has been in any doubt about the frosty relationship between them since the band split.
But now, after 16 years of both private rows and public mudslinging—and for the sake of taking home a reported £50million each—the siblings have called a truce.
Tonight, they walked out to a roaring, sold-out crowd at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, to kick off their hotly anticipated reunion tour, which was announced last August.
Bang on 8:15pm, Noel and Liam launched into their tune Hello, which seems a rather apt opener.
After this, they went into Acquiesce, which originally appeared as the B-side to Oasis' first number-one single, Some Might Say, in 1995.
It was also the opener that many predicted when set lists seemingly leaked just days ago ahead of the gig to 74,500 adoring fans.
The brothers swaggered out on stage in their usual attire—Liam in his coat and Noel in a denim shirt—following a video displaying numerous headlines about their feud and subsequent reconciliation.
'This is not a drill,' also appeared on the screen in giant letters, with the crowd—decked out in bucket hats, shades, and Oasis merch—sending cups flying by jumping in the air once the Britpop band appeared.
Before their third song, (What's the Story) Morning Glory? Liam said on the mic: 'Hello, people, it's been too long.'
'It's good to be back, good to be back,' he added, then shouting: 'Yes, beautiful people!'
Noel and Liam appear to want to keep their distance for much of the night, which follows rumours that they barely rehearsed together in the lead-up to the inaugural show.

Sharon Osbourne declares 'I'm done' after Ozzy's final Black Sabbath show
Sharon Osbourne has candidly spoken out after her husband Ozzy took to the stage in his final performance alongside Black Sabbath. The rocker, 76, appeared overwhelmed with emotion while performing at Villa Park in Birmingham for the Back to the Beginning show, joining his bandmates Tommy Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward on stage. Sharon, who has been her husband's manager for over 40 years, has now declared that she's finally 'done' after a lifetime in the music business. Speaking about Ozzy's final performance after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease back in 2003, TV presenter Sharon, 71, insisted there's 'no way on God's green earth' that there will be another show for the band, She told Billboard: 'I've been doing this since I was 15, and I'm done. We just want to live our life and do what we want to do and not have to follow an itinerary anymore.' Sharon went on to reveal that the farewell concert was her idea. 'He kept saying, 'It's my one regret,' and 'I want a chance to really say thank you,' she explained. 'And this is what we thought would be the best way to do it. It's a celebration of Ozzy and Sabbath and the music.' Despite the career confession, Sharon, who has daughters Aimee, 41, and Kelly, 40, as well as son Jack, 39, with Ozzy, insisted that she still loves her husband. She told the Mirror: 'Even if you don't like his music you can't not like Ozzy – he just draws you in. 'We have been together for over 50 years. I have stuck by him because I love him. It is simple. I understand him and why he does the things he does.' While Ozzy remained sitting down during the concert, he commanded the audience by clapping and waving his arms around, pulling his wide-eyed expressions he's famous for. I tried Charlotte Tilbury's Unreal Blush Stick and it's my new make-up must have
Metro journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more Charlotte Tilbury never misses with her ever-expanding eponymous beauty brand. From the Pillow Talk range, the Hollywood Flawless Filter to the Magic Cream, the brand features iconic and bestselling products, and we think the British beauty mogul may have created another hit product – the Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Stick. Charlotte Tilbury has just launched the Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Stick in six colourways this summer, and I have been testing the product behind the scenes over the last few weeks. Safe to say, it's blended into my make-up routine seamlessly. Charlotte Tilbury's Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint Hydrating Foundation Stick proved to be a huge hit, but it has been given a colourful twist in the form of the new Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Stick, which the brand founder describes as the 'summer-glazed glow up whenever, wherever!' Formulated with Colour Light Mapping Mesh Technology, plant based Collageneer, multi-weight hyaluronic acid, as well as daikon seed oil, vitamin E and pearlescent pigments, this glow stick is not only nourishing, hydrating, but non-drying, non-greasy, and super easy to blend. The Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Stick is well pigmented so a little goes a long way for those wanting to add a pop of colour to your cheeks, though it is buildable for those wanting a stronger look too. Available in six colourways. Buy Now for £30 This multifunctional glow stick is a hybrid between a blusher, bronzer, contour and highlighter in one, and with an added boost of hydration, thanks to the lightweight balm texture. The glow stick has been formulated with Charlotte Tilbury's Colour Light Mapping Mesh Technology, which contains smoothing emollients that work to blur the skin's complexion. The moisture mesh technology uses large hyaluronic acid molecules to hydrate the skin on a deeper level, and helps to protect the skin's barrier. The glow stick also contains light-mapping pearlescent pigments, though the finish is far from iridescent, glitzy, or pearly – much to my delight. However, there is no denying this product effectively illuminates the skin. The formula also contains plant-based Collageneer, as well as multi-weight hyaluronic acid, which aims to plump, firm and hydrate the skin, while daikon seed oil and antioxidant-rich vitamin E provide an extra boost of hydration and nourishment. Safe to say this product is more than just a make-up cosmetic, as it borders the skincare sector too. The Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Stick comes in six colourways, including Pretty Glow, Peachy Glow, Berry Glow, Pinky Glow, Cherry Glow and Rose Glow, all of which are super easy to use, are blendable and buildable. Now the intricate detail is out of the way, it's time to weigh in on my thoughts. I have trialled a variety of multipurpose beauty sticks, and adore them. Not only are they easy to use, but they give that 'your skin but better make-up look' in seconds. But this new creation from Charlotte Tilbury may be the best I've tried. I have been fortunate enough to get my hands on the Peachy Glow and Rosy Glow shades, which I wear simultaneously, and alternate between to achieve different make-up looks. More Trending The sticks are quite chunky in size, which I prefer as it means one sweep and I am done, plus a little goes a long way. Though if you prefer precise application I recommend applying the product to a brush to get into specific areas. The stick is well pigmented, so one sweep was enough to buff into my cheeks and inject some life into my lacklustre complexion. It is super easy to blend thanks to the cream, almost balm-like texture, whether I used my fingers, a beauty blender or brush. Plus, it is buildable too, so you can achieve a naturally flushed or sun-kissed look, as well as a bold and more glamorous finish. The balm texture glides onto my skin, whether it is applied on top of primer, tinted moisturiser, or worn on its own over your skincare. Some balm make-up sticks can run or wear off quickly, but this stays put for some time. This creation is multifunctional, as it can be applied on the cheeks, eyelids, or lips. So, it's well worth its £30 price tag. Yes, it may take up some space in your make-up bag, but it is easy to carry in your bag and take on the go, which is another reason I love this new release. Whether it's the only make-up product you use as part of a slimmed down beauty routine, or one step in a multi-step routine, is up to you. But it stays put for hours, and is a product I've used on repeat for all occasions over the last few weeks. Don't roll with it: the ticket scams targeting Oasis fans and other gig-goers
Your favourite band is playing, and you're desperate to go, but don't have a ticket. Unfortunately, scammers are trying to cash in on this summer's must-see gigs, claiming they can get you into sold-out events. So be on your guard. The Oasis gigs, that kicked off on Friday, are among the big-ticket events being used by fraudsters to trick unsuspecting music fans. Earlier this year, Lloyds Bank said that more than 1,000 customers had fallen victim to scams that offered access to the eagerly anticipated concerts. Fans lost an average of £436 each, with the biggest loss more than £1,700. According to the UK government, in 2024 more than £1.6m was lost to gig ticket fraud, and 3,700 reports were made to Action Fraud. Almost half of the Action Fraud cases related to offers made on social media, and there have been many stories from people who have lost money after responding to posts on Facebook. Some have reported that their Facebook pages have been hijacked and then used by criminals to trick their family and friends into thinking ticket sales were genuine. Scammers are bold enough to answer questions before running off with your cash. A reader told us he had been convinced that tickets were genuine before transferring £150 to pay for them – as soon as he had, the fraudster disappeared. Posts on platforms, such as Facebook, claim that people have spare tickets to sell, and say that they can show you proof before you pay. Scroll through posts on fan pages, or on X, and there are hundreds of people claiming to be selling. Some will be genuine, but there is no way of telling from just looking at them. You will be asked for a payment – probably by a bank transfer – in exchange for the tickets. If a friend or family has posted that they are selling the tickets you want, contact them directly rather than dealing with them through social media. Find the website of the venue or band – it will provide links to take you to the legitimate sites to use for ticket sales and resales. Use a credit or debit card to pay online – these give you extra protections if the tickets do not turn up. If you get an email saying tickets are available, check the address – Ticketmaster emails, for example, should come from noreply@ Rather than clicking on links sent in emails, go directly to the ticket seller's page. Make sure any company you buy through is a member of the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers (Star). It has a redress scheme if things go wrong. Ticketmaster also warns to beware of printed tickets, as scammers can distribute the same ticket multiple times.
