GH Spoilers August 4: Anna and Obrecht Reunite, Chase and Gio Talk
Anna and Liesl Obrecht encounter one another, with their history and Britt's disappearance potentially coming up.
Chase runs into Gio and might try to convince him to give Brook Lynn a chance.
Ric meets Molly for dinner, but keeps many secrets from her, including how her sister tampered with his car.
Ava makes a proposal, likely to Alexis, which may be related to the Cassadine trust and Kristina's scheme.
In addition to Anna encountering Obrecht, General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 4, 2025, will also focus on Chase running into Gio and Ava making a proposal.
Next on General Hospital
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) recently gave Anna (Finola Hughes) a heads-up that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was back in town. The doctor returned to connect with Rocco (Finn Carr), who needed to know about Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). She was more than happy to share stories and information about his birth.
When Anna encounters Obrecht on Monday, how will their reunion go? Their history is complicated, but they're mostly in a better place. They both went raging a few years ago, after all. However, Anna knows what Obrecht is capable of, so this interaction could go a hundred different ways. Anna also knows about Jason's gut feeling that Britt is alive, so their conversation may veer that way.
Meanwhile, in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Britt is somehow involved with Dalton's research, and she's injecting herself with mysterious concoctions. Personally, you can tell she's lonely. She doesn't have her mother by her side. What happens when Britt is suddenly taken aback? It's not too soon for Jason to catch up to her, right?

Unexpected Conversation
Meanwhile, Dante has been able to talk to Gio (Giovanni Mazza) a couple of times since the big reveal. Those interactions were unsuccessful but not disastrous. Brook Lynn, on the other hand, hasn't had much face time with her biological son. But the last time they were in the same vicinity, it didn't go well.
Things could start looking up because Chase (Josh Swickard) is about to run into Gio. Faced with this sudden opportunity, Brook Lynn's hubby could start making a case for Gio to give Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) a chance.

Potentially Awkward Father / Daughter Dinner
Elsewhere, Ric (Rick Hearst) meets with Molly (Kristen Vaganos) for dinner. There's a lot that Ric knows that his daughter does not. Like how her sister cut the brakes on his car, resulting in the accident that sent him and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) to the hospital. He's also blackmailing Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) because of Kristina's bad choices.
The father/daughter duo will probably have to stick to topics like the law and how Cody (Josh Kelly) isn't the man that Molly thought he was. What will happen when the ADA finds out that everybody in her life is lying to her?

Finally, Ava (Maura West) makes a proposal. At Drew's (Cameron Mathison) and Willow's (Katelyn MacMullen) doomed wedding, Ava warned Alexis that she needed to talk to her. So, this proposal has to be about that. Ava may be playing into Kristina's hands if this is about striking a separate deal with Alexis regarding the money she has been embezzling from the Cassadine trust. This could be a move that tells Alexis and Kristina (Kate Mansi) that Kristina's plan is working.

Armisen, who plays Uncle Fester on the series, spoke to PEOPLE exclusively while attending the Wednesday season 2, Part One World Premiere in London on July 30. During the conversation at Central Hall Westminster, the SNL alum shares that Ortega, 22, inspired him to be more 'meticulous' and 'pay attention' as a scene partner. "It's great watching Jenna, because she keeps track of the script in this way that she understands the logic of her character,' Armisen, 58, says. He adds, 'It's not like she just shows up and it's like, 'I'm just gonna do this character.' She's like, 'Why does this moment count? So she's very meticulous, and it makes me want to be more like her. I'm like, 'No, I gotta [...] pay attention.' ' The comedian goes on to share one of his favorite behind-the-scenes moments while filming the upcoming season. 'There was a scene in the insane asylum, and it's raining and it really felt like 'Wow. I'm really on a TV show,' you know? This fake rain and lightning and stuff, and it, it just makes me feel like if I was a little kid watching myself, I'd be like, 'Wow, I'm really on a TV show.' ' Armisen isn't the only Wednesday actor to rave about Ortega's talent and work ethic. Season 2 star Steve Buscemi called the actress 'the best' while speaking exclusively to PEOPLE while attending the Family Dinner fundraising event hosted by Exploring the Arts in New York City in April. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. 'Oh, she's great,' Buscemi, 67, told PEOPLE at the time. 'She's just, she's so sharp and funny and down to earth. And just a wonderful actress, a wonderful scene partner. The best.' Christina Ricci — who played Wednesday in the original Tim Burton Addams Family films, and who also appears in season 1 of Wednesday as Marilyn Thornhill — echoed the sentiment while speaking to Variety back in 2022. 'Jenna is incredible," Ricci, 45, said of Ortega. "I saw some of the wardrobe photos before I went [to set], so I knew [what she looked like in character] and I was like, it's such a great modern take on Wednesday." The season 2 London premiere was a star-studded affair, with appearances by Ortega, Buscemi, Emma Myers, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Joy Sunday, Tim Burton and more. The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now! Season 2, Part One of Wednesday debuts on Netflix on Wednesday, Aug. 6, followed by Part Two on Wednesday, Sept. 3. Season 1 of Wednesday is currently available to stream in full on Netflix. Read the original article on People
