To underscore that the Madani government is on the right track, the Segamat MP pointed to the International Institute for Management Development World Competitiveness Ranking 2025, which saw Malaysia rise 11 spots with a record high of RM378.5 billion in foreign direct investments.

Azalina calls on Umno to boost digital capabilities ahead of elections

KUANTAN: Umno must recognise the need to strengthen its digital capabilities to counter slander and disseminate facts through social media and smartphones, particularly in preparation for the upcoming general election. Umno information chief Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said said that with these capabilities, Umno must rise to close the gap in public perception regarding the party's image. "In addition, I also reminded (party members) that the unity government or coalition government model is one that has been used by Umno since the days of the Alliance, and subsequently with the establishment of Barisan Nasional. "Therefore, our position in the current government is not a foreign model. "Even though Umno is not the leading party, it remains a stabilising factor," she said in a Facebook post after officiating the Temerloh Umno Division Delegates' Meeting today. She said that in the Madani government, Barisan Nasional continues to stand firm in defending the fundamentals of the Federal Constitution, namely Islam as the religion of the Federation, the position of the Malay Rulers, Malay as the national language, and the special rights of the Malays and Bumiputera. "Alhamdulillah, after nearly three years of the Madani government's administration, there has never been a moment when our partners in the current coalition have questioned these matters, which is also the main reason this government remains stable," she said. – Bernama

Dodol Telur, Gelembung Buaya A Hit At National Month Launch In Muar

MUAR, July 26 (Bernama) -- The rich, creamy flavour and soft, melt-in-the-mouth texture of 'dodol telur' and 'dodol gelembung buaya', made by Kelantan-born Nur Atikah Syazwani Hassan, quickly won over visitors at the launch of the National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang 2025 campaign here. Made using family recipes passed down since 1970, the traditional Malay delicacies from Kampung Laut, Kelantan, are slow-cooked for four to five hours to retain their authentic flavour and texture. 'Dodol telur is special because it's made with eggs and coconut milk, slowly cooked until the mixture thickens. We only make it once a year. It has a creamy egg flavour with just the right amount of sweetness. 'For dodol gelembung buaya, we add fresh young coconut flesh and produce it in two colours, green and orange, unlike regular dodol which is made only with coconut milk,' she told Bernama when met at the MADANI Community Entrepreneurship booth at Dataran Tanjung Emas here today. She said the response to both products was very encouraging, with many first-time visitors praising the dodol's unique flavour and texture. The dodol, priced at RM11 for 500 grammes and RM21 for one kilogramme, is packed straight from the 'kawah' (large cooking pot) to preserve its soft texture and authentic flavour. 'Customers will receive dodol with a soft texture. If stored properly, it can last up to a week. To me, this is also a way of keeping Malay heritage food alive. 'Through platforms like the MADANI Community Entrepreneurship booth, I hope this heritage food from Kampung Laut can reach a wider market,' she said. Nur Atikah Syazwani was among 16 local entrepreneurs from across the country selected to showcase their products at the MADANI Community Entrepreneurship booth, held in conjunction with the three-day event.
