Boden's ‘smart-looking' linen trousers are reduced by £40 in summer sale

The Westbourne Crop Linen Trousers were originally priced at £98, but thanks Boden's massive summer sale, the Oatmeal colourway are now £58.80 - that's a huge £40 saving!
Boden's Westbourne trousers are one of their most popular products, and now they're available in linen, they're the perfect pair to keep you cool in warmer weather. They've got the same flattering, wide-leg shape that shoppers love, now just in a lighter, more breathable fabric.
This pair sit naturally at the waist, and fall just above the ankle thanks to the cropped fit, making them perfect to wear with sandals or trainers.
Whether you're styling these with a simple t-shirt or dressing them up for the office with a button-up shirt, they're perfect for throwing on when you don't know what to wear.
And shoppers have been praising them for their smart look, and flattering fit. One customer wrote: "I love the cut of these trousers. I bought them as I already have the Westbourne trousers but the cropped are different insofar as the leg width at the hem is slightly narrower. I actually like this as they're cropped and I think they look smarter than wide legs. I bought the navy in a size 10 regular as I didn't want them too cropped. I'm 5'3 and they sit just above the ankle. They fit perfectly."
A second added: "These are a perfect length and fit for me, sit just on my ankle. Lovely soft linen, hangs beautifully, beautiful colour."
Not all shoppers were happy however, with one criticising the fit for curvier figures. They wrote: "Thinner fabric than expected especially for the price and just cut all wrong for an hourglass figure and i'm only a 10. Fitted on the waist tight around bottom and top of legs and i'm really not that curvy. If you are a straight up and down these will be great for you."
If you're on the lookout for more linen trousers, I tested out five different pairs in order to find my perfect fit and shape. Considering the affordable £23 price tag (and now even less at £18 in the ASOS sale), I was really surprised with the fit and quality of this Bershka pair.
They fit me the best in terms of leg length and around the waist. I love the neutral sand colour, and they're also available to purchase in three other colours: white, black, and a spring-ready pale pink.
Additonally, the barrel leg silhouette is the trendiest trouser shape of the season, and I love how the shape of this ASOS pair added a stylish twist.

Topshop returning to Irish high street in Donegal
Topshop is returning to the high street in a partnership with one of the Republic of Ireland's best known department in Ballybofey, County Donegal, is to begin selling Topshop's clothing range next will be the first time that Topshop clothes will be sold in a physical store since it moved solely into the online retail 2021, Topshop was one of four brands acquired by online fashion group Asos from failed retail group Arcadia. McElhinney's general manager Sandra Devenney told BBC News NI shoppers can expect "the Topshop that we all knew and loved and have missed". "We are really optimistic and very excited about this." McElhinney's will be the first store to sell Topshop clothes as part of its high street return to bricks and mortar retail will also see the brand partnering with stockists in Denmark and France later in 2025. Topshop, Ms Devenney said, is an iconic brand, and a perfect fit for the Donegal store."We have an exceptionally dynamic team and are always looking to the future while, as one of the now very few independent family run stores in Europe, maintaining our heritage," she said. On Loose Women last week, she sported Mango's Striped Straight Suit Trousers (£45.99) and the matching Buttons Striped Top (£35.99). Sharing a snap on Instagram, fans immediately went wild for it. 'So many sensational outfits, my style icon' wrote one, whilst another said: 'Absolutely love this outfit!' The pinstripe co-ord is the perfect choice for summer, and shoppers can wear it absolutely anywhere from a summer wedding to the office.
