Tamika Chesser, 34, remains in police custody at a mental health facility in Adelaide after officers were called to a fire at the yard of their Flinders Highway home in Port Lincoln on June 19. (AAP) A multi-agency search crew have been extensively scouring the Port Lincoln area for Story's head. Today, Major Crime Investigation Branch Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke said new information and specialist equipment had helped identify several more sites to search in and around Port Lincoln. "New search areas have been identified and by undertaking these renewed searches, we hope to find Julian's missing remains, which will give comfort to his family and allow them to peacefully lay him to rest," he said in a statement. "Police have reviewed a significant amount of CCTV footage since the incident which has provided a number of investigational leads." The sites will be searched over the coming days. Julian Story. (Nine) Late last month, police released vision of who they believe to be Chesser a few hours before the alleged murder. The woman in the footage is seen walking with a dog. A cat named Leonardo da Pinchy doesn't want your affection, he wants to steal your underwear

His prolific laundry-pinching from clotheslines and bedrooms in the placid beachside neighbourhood of Mairangi Bay has turned 15-month-old Leo into a local celebrity and earned him a new moniker; he now goes by Leonardo da Pinchy. And he's got expensive taste: his frequent hauls include silk boxer shorts, thick men's work socks — preferably with clothespins still attached — and in one mortifying episode for his humans, a brand-new $NZ300 ($274) cashmere sweater. 'My daughter was at home sick and she rang me at work saying, 'It's bad, it's bad, this is the worst thing he's brought in, it's really bad,' Leo's owner, Helen North, said 'Because it was beautiful, I was like, 'Ooh, can I keep that?' But I couldn't.' But the pilfered stash kept piling up: socks (piles), underwear (loads) and even a 5-foot-long stuffed snake (bizarre). On one record-setting day, Leo returned with nine items, enough for a full outfit if you didn't mind a mix of everything from baby clothes to menswear. 'He brought in a jersey this morning at 8:10,' North said. 'The shops hadn't even opened.' With dozens of items unclaimed, the embarrassed owner took her search for Leo's victims wider this month, posting photos of his hauls on a local Facebook page along with an apology and her address. Those who showed up to claim their belongings included a woman who recognised her pink and purple underpants and a boy whose beloved and missing sports jersey was helpfully identifiable by his name printed on the back. The ire North expected over Leo's cat burgling antics didn't eventuate — although one of his targets, who is allergic to cats, now dries her laundry indoors. 'All of our neighbours think he's amazing,' she said. 'Some of them are quite put out that he hasn't actually stolen anything of theirs.' Still, North has tried everything to curb her cat's laundry obsession, from attempting to keep him indoors to leaving out clothes at home for him to steal. No luck. 'He only wants stuff that he shouldn't have,' she said, adding that she was also unwilling to risk an online suggestion that Leo simply needed another playmate. 'He might teach another cat to do this,' North said. Leo's life of crime began when he was first allowed outdoors a year ago, but his family hopes it's just a juvenile phase. 'I hope he grows out of it because I don't want to do this for like, 15 years,' North said. 'This is a lot of admin.' For now, on the streets of Mairangi Bay, Leonardo da Pinchy remains at large. Australian man found dead in Phuket, Thailand, hotel room

An Australian man has been found dead in a hotel room on the Thai holiday island of Phuket. Hotel staff found the body of a man in his early 20s on Wednesday morning, according to Reuters and local media. The man had a bandaged arm because of a recent motorcycle crash and had died with his mobile phone on his chest, according to media reports. According to police Lieutenant Colonel Thanom Thongpaenm, the man was still on a call when the body was discovered. "The line hadn't been disconnected and he had died like that," he told Reuters. "It appeared he had been on the call for about 12 hours." Authorities have yet to release the name of the man, who was born in India but had an Australian passport. Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is providing consular assistance to the family of an Australian who died in Thailand, a spokesperson has said. "Owing to our privacy obligations, we are unable to provide further comment." AAP

‘Pay': Wild scene as nail salon rammed

A Melbourne nail salon has been badly damaged in a ram raid, with a ute emblazoned with crude graffiti smashing into the front of the store before the driver fled on foot. Shocking images from the scene show the glass storefront of La La Nail Co shattered, with a black ute abandoned partially inside the building. Emblazoned on the vehicle are the words: 'Pay your tick you fat dog.' The ute smashed into the Essendon North salon, which is situated below an apartment block, about 3.30am, and a spokeswoman for Victoria police confirmed nobody was inside the business at the time. The luxury salon's owners said in a post to Instagram they were 'devastated' by the incident. 'It is with deep sadness and frustration that we share the news of yet another targeted attack on our salon,' the post read. We have worked tirelessly to build a team and a business we are proud of, even amid ongoing challenges,' the post read.
