Domino's launch Domidog K9 robot to deliver pizzas on beach
The brand designed the fun robot pooch alongside research, which put seagulls in the top 10 things that bother Brits the most at the beach.
It emerged that one in three admit they have fallen foul of the boisterous birds who circle the skies and swoop for food, according to 1,500 polled who visit the seaside.
Meanwhile, 59% wish there were a way to easily protect their snacks from seagulls when at the seaside.
Domino's creates robot dog to deliver pizza at seaside locations
Izzy Gardener from Domino's said: 'Seagulls have claimed too many seaside snacks, and it's time we did something about it.
'We're always exploring new and innovative ways to keep your pizza as hot and fresh as possible on its delivery journey.
'That's why we're trailing Domidog this summer: a tech-driven answer to an age-old beach problem.'
Before turning pizza pup, the Boston Dynamics robot has proven its capabilities: supporting search and rescue operations, assisting bomb squads and advancing robotics research in human-robot interaction.

Complete with a hi-tech spec, it can autonomously navigate its environment using onboard sensors, stereo cameras, and advanced localisation technology.
Other features like 360 degree perception also help it to effortlessly avoid obstacles while delivering.
From the research, when asked what grated their gears most about the greedy gulls, stealing food (61%) naturally topped the list, followed by their aggressive behaviour (50%).
With one in 10 going as far as to say the badly behaved birds have damaged their property, while 19% claim they'd scared small children, according to the OnePoll.com data.
Additionally, limited toilets (40%), big crowds (37%), and unruly dogs not on leads (17%) also made the top 10 list.

Danny Jones and wife, Georgia, appear to be rekindling their relationship after the McFly star was caught locking lips with Maura Higgins in a drunken kiss at the BRITs McFly star, Danny Jones, and his wife, Georgia, appear to have put the past behind them as they posed for a family photo at their home. The couple, who share seven-year-old son, Cooper, were rocked earlier this year when Danny appeared to lock lips with reality star, Maura Higgins, in a drunken kiss at the BRITs. Danny, 39, eventually apologised for the misdemeanour while Maura stayed silent and hot-footed it to LA for a photoshoot. Meanwhile, Georgia, was said to have temporarily moved out of the home she shares with her husband, before deciding to give things another try. The couple look like they're rekindling their relationship in their latest snap together in which they're seen smiling, surrounded by Georgia's family in the garden. The podcast host posted the snap on Instagram with the caption: "And then there were 17... "My family are dotted all over the world so getting all of us together at once is near on impossible which makes days like this even more special. "Cousins, aunties, uncles, parents, husbands, wives, kids… my house was full and my heart happy. Missed you Si." Responding to the wholesome snap, one fan replied: "Arrrrr family's are so special." A second mused: "You all look so alike!" Meanwhile, a third said: "Lovely to see you both looking so happy." It comes after Danny issued a grovelling apology to his wife, two weeks after the clip of him and Maura at the BRITs went viral. Apologising for his behaviour, he wrote on Instagram: "Hello everyone, sorry it's taken me a while to post this but I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me. "I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. "I love them so much and we'll continue to deal with this privately." After a short hiatus during which she reportedly moved out of the family home for a spell, Georgia returned to the podcast she hosts with Tom Parker's widow, Kelsey. Claiming the mum-of-one is throwing herself into he career and 'will not be seen as a victim', a source told The Sun: 'Georgia has her head back in work and this year is already shaping up to be very exciting. She has got a fresh deal with Omaze to record social media ads. 'Georgia is refusing to be seen as a victim and after everything that happened she wants to crack on and get back out there. 'She has already done some filming for them and couldn't be more excited about what doors this job could open.'

Most popular hairstyles for men - and the one everyone thinks suits them
A poll of 2,000 males found most men have stuck with the same hairstyle because they don't have the confidence to change it The typical bloke has had the same haircut for over ten years. A survey of 2,000 men revealed most chaps have kept the same style because they don't have the confidence to switch it up, or worry about what people might say if they do. According to the study men settle on their look by the age of 31, with short back and sides being the most popular choice (35 per cent), followed by the buzzcut (16 per cent). The 'alpaca back and sides' – inspired by the animal's fleece – emerged as another trendy option, especially amongst 25 to 34 year olds. Following the research commissioned by Alpacalypse Session IPA by SALT Brewery, a pop-up Shearer Shop offering one haircut – the alpaca back and sides – has been launched. Brewery spokesman Edd Simpson said: "We knew Alpacalypse would turn heads - we just didn't expect it to be at the barbershop. Now everyone wants the alpaca back and sides." The study discovered that amongst those yet to try the style, most regard it as a 'cool' cut and reckon it would work for them, with a quarter saying they're 'likely' to have a go. It emerged those polled were most experimental with their style aged 22. Yet, of all the things men are most likely to experiment with – such as clothes and cuisine, their hair is the area they are least open to doing something new with. A third of respondents said they 'might' be open to changing their hairstyle after consulting with a trusted hairdresser, and a fifth confessed they might contemplate a new look following a significant life event such as a break up or a job change. The study, conducted by OnePoll, revealed that 38 per cent care about others' opinions on their appearance - with 28 per cent believing they are more fashionable than their friends. Those surveyed also disclosed which animals they believe have the best hair – the male lion topped the list, followed by the Samoyed dog, highland cattle, and the alpaca. Richard Tucker, senior barber at Ruffians, who has partnered with Alpacalypse Session IPA by SALT Brewery for the pop-up, stated: "We're delighted to host the Alpacalyse Shearer Shop as Brits embrace a new look."
