
Here's Our First Look at "Al Mashrue X"

The first look at Egyptian stars Karim Abdel Aziz and Yasmine Sabri's upcoming film "Al Mashrue X" has finally been unveiled.
The pic features an ensemble cast that includes Eyad Nassar, Mariam El Gendy, Essam El Sakka, Ahmed Ghozzi, and more. Hannah El Zahed and Maged El Kedwany will also make an appearance in the pic.
Specific details on the upcoming project remain under wraps, but the pic hails from acclaimed director Peter Mimi.
In the clip, the protagonist (Abdel Aziz) was expelled from the Faculty of Archaeology at Cairo University and is now engaged in a highly dangerous mission.
It also features Abdel Aziz's character in confrontations that take him to more than one country and location, from the desert and the pyramids to foreign countries and the depths of the sea.

Releasing in May, "Al Mashrue X" marks the third collaboration between Abdel Aziz and Mimi after the blockbuster film "Beit El Ruby" as well as the hit TV series 'El Ekhteyar S1 & S2" and "Al-Hashashin".
It also witnesses the first collaboration between Sabri and Mimi.

Monopunk, AKA the IT-photographer of Egypt's rap scene, curated a playlist of his favourite tunes that he'd always keep on rotation. (Naturally, they were mainly Egyptian rap gems). Jul 01, 2025 In this installation of our '3ala Mazag' series, Monopunk aka Ali Kassab - the IT-photographer of Egypt's rap scene, who previously worked with the likes of Wegz, Khaled Mokhtar, and Shahyn - curates a playlist of his ultimate 10/10 tunes that he'd usually keep on rotation. His curation is naturally packed with pure rap songs, dominated by a slew of prominent Egyptian emcees, including ZIAD ZAZA, Marwan Pablo, and Abyusif. Jamila Awad to Star Alongside Motasem Al Nahar and Ahmed El Fishawy in Film "Hen Yaktab Al Hob"
Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Jamila Awad has landed her next major movie role, starring alongside Motasem Al Nahar, Ahmed El Fishawy, and Sawsan Badr in the romance film "Hen Yaktab Al Hob". The film, written by Saja Mohammed Al-Khalifat and directed by Mohamed Hany, marks Al Nahar's first time starring in an Egyptian film. Principal photography will commence soon. Awad can be seen in Egyptian-Canadian actor Mena Massoud's first-ever Egyptian film, ' Fi Ez El Dohr ' (In Broad Daylight). The cast also includes Shereen Reda, Eman Elassi, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Mahmoud Albezzawy, Mahmoud Hegazy, and more. 'Fi Ez El Dohr' is a thriller-suspense genre that revolves around an international gang whose head is Massoud, and as his gang commits crimes across the world, he finds himself caught up in romance. The film was written by Karim Sorour and directed by Morcous Adel in his first directorial debut. Adel Saad produced the pic via his new production company, Signal Films. Awad, born on April 6, 1991, was raised in an artistic home as her father is film director Adel Awad, her mother is actress Randa, and her grandfather is comedian Mohamed Awad. She made her breakthrough playing Hania, a young drug addict, in the 2015 TV series 'Taht El-saytara'. The actress is best known for her roles in TV productions such as 'La tutafiy alshams'(2017), 'Ella Ana' (2020), and 'Harb Ahlia' (2021).
