Jeremy Martin is scheduled to run three Pro Motocross races in 2025 with Star Yamaha
Plagued by injury in the past few seasons, Martin had little to prove after winning the 2014 and 2015 Motocross titles. He came close in Supercross competition with a third-place showing three times, most recently in 2018.
This will be the third time Martin has ridden for Star Yamaha. His first stint led to the two Motocross championships, but his second time with the team was marred by a wrist injury in 2021 and a shoulder injury in 2022. Martin's 2023 campaign lasted only two races before he broke his wrist in the Hangtown Motocross Classic.
In 2024, Martin signed a long-term deal with ClubMX with a multi-year deal that was originally scheduled to run through 2026. Martin made three Supercross races in 2024 with a best finish of fifth in Birmingham, Alabama. Concussions in two rounds last year led to him leaving the team.
The rounds Martin will contest have not yet been announced, but he will almost certainly race on the Millville, Minnesota, track that his family owns and operates.

Former Iowa football running back accepts new coaching position
When players go through the Iowa football system, they become so much more knowledgeable of the game and can think football at a higher level than others. That's a big reason why so many Hawkeyes find their way into the NFL and usually stick around longer than some may expect. But for those who weren't able to make it to the league, that knowledge doesn't evaporate. Some players use it to be involved with the game in a different aspect: coaching. And this former Iowa football running back is the next in a great line of Hawkeyes turned into coaches. Bemidji State University football announced on X that it had hired former Hawkeye running back Ivory Kelly-Martin to be its running backs coach for the 2025 season. Bemidji State is a Division II school located in Bemidji, Minnesota. They compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). Kelly-Martin played at Iowa from 2017-2021, appearing in 44 games. He had 181 carries for 804 yards and six rushing touchdowns in those 44 games. He spent a lot of time backing up Tyler Goodson and providing valuable snaps. While he wasn't a star at Iowa, Kelly-Martin was well respected by his teammates and coaching staff and was a true steward of the game. That was evident with his inclusion on the 2021 Players Council. Before accepting this position with Bemidji State, Kelly-Martin was a graduate assistant running backs coach at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. With his Master's in Business Administration all finished up, he can now start his coaching career with the Bemidji State Beavers. Lachlan Turner sweeps Women's division for first Loretta Lynn's title
Altus Motorsports BLU CRU Yamaha's Lachlan Turner completed her sweep of the Women's division with a Moto 3 victory and secured the Loretta Lynn's Amateur National title in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, but this time around, she had a different challenger in second in Mayla Herrick. Turner had unfinished business in the Loretta's. As the defending Women's Pro Motocross (WMX) champion, no one questioned her skill; however, she had failed to secure a divisional championship in the biggest event of amateur racing. Turner won each moto with dominant gaps over second place. Her victory over Herrick was 41.734 seconds as the eventual runner-up finisher worked her way through a determined field. Turner's overall strength was highlighted by a 19th-place finish earlier in the day in the 250 B Limited class that is dominated by male riders. Dan Beaver , Herrick had a modest start in fifth. It took three laps to get into podium contention and another couple of trips around the circuit to move around Kyleigh Stallings into second. The lead was out of the question by that point, with Turner more than 30 seconds ahead, but Herrick matched the leader's pace during the next three laps before losing significant ground on the final lap. Herrick's second-place finish on Saturday, combined with fourth-place results in the first two motos, placed her third overall in the divisional standings by a tiebreaker over Jordan Jarvis. Stallings swept the podium with second-place finishes in Motos 1 and 2, plus her third-place finish on Saturday. For half of Moto 3, it appeared she might finish second for the third time, and rode in that position until Lap 5. Landen Gordon ends Enzo Temmerman's streak with Open Pro Sport Moto 2 win Enzo Temmerman struggled at the start of the moto and was unable to make up the distance on his teammate. Dan Beaver , Stallings and Turner will leave Tennessee and head to Indiana for the resumption of the WMX Championship next weekend. Fourth-place finisher Jarvis will join them at Ironman Raceway. She came up one position short of also sweeping the podium. Five was the operative number for Mila Baltyk, who finished fifth in Moto1, Moto 3, and in the overall standings. Enzo Temmerman sweeps Loretta Lynn's 250 Pro Sport, secures title
Enzo Temmerman ended his 250 Pro Sport campaign with a third divisional moto win in the Loretta Lynn's Amateur National in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, and walked away with the title. Entering the moto with back-to-back wins, Friday's race should have been stress-free, but for the second straight race, Temmerman suffered a poor start and was only sixth after Lap 1. Unlike his previous efforts, it took quite some time to get to the front, with Temmerman falling as far back as 10 seconds during the race. Landen Gordon ends Enzo Temmerman's streak with Open Pro Sport Moto 2 win Enzo Temmerman struggled at the start of the moto and was unable to make up the distance on his teammate. Dan Beaver , Temmerman moved into third on Lap 4, but was forced to settle there until the two laps remained in the moto. Temmerman passed teammate Landen Gordon at that point. One lap later, he took the lead in a thrilling, three-rider battle for the top spot. Kade Johnson led every lap except the final one. He succumbed to a charging Temmerman on Lap 13 and ultimately lost seven seconds to the new leader. Gordon lost an additional four seconds of pace, but easily outdistanced the fourth-place rider, Diesel Thomas. That position would prove to be important as he finished second in the title hunt with one point separating him from Landen Gibson. He was 15th in Moto 1 and 11th in Moto 2. Temmerman has one race remaining in his 2025 Loretta Lynn's effort, which is a winner-take-all battle with Gordon in the Open Pro division on Saturday.
