, setting a new benchmark for circularity at scale. This recognition places RE&UP at the forefront of global material innovation, as the world struggles with a textile ecosystem where virgin materials still dominate and circular practices remain rare.
All three of RE&UP's core offerings have received certification from the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, evaluated by accredited assessor Eco Intelligent Growth (EIG):
Next-Gen Recycled Cotton (Pre-Consumer) – Platinum
Next-Gen Recycled Cotton (Post-Consumer) – Platinum
Recycled Polyester Chips – Silver
This certification is not just about recycled content—it validates RE&UP's end-to-end circular design, from material sourcing and infrastructure compatibility to traceability and reuse systems.
'This certification proves our recycled fibers are designed for scale, safety, and long-term reuse,' said Andreas Dorner, General Manager, RE&UP. 'We're not just talking about sustainability—we're delivering measurable, system-ready impact for the textile industry.'
C2C Certified® Circularity rigorously evaluates a product's ability to return to the value chain safely and effectively. It includes metrics like recycling compatibility, public transparency, safe chemical usage, and circular infrastructure readiness.
'RE&UP's certification validates that circularity isn't just aspirational—it's achievable,' said Ebru Özküçük Guler, Chief Sustainability Officer. 'We've built a next-gen solution that doesn't compromise on quality or performance, while enabling true large-scale impact.'
Already being adopted by leading fashion brands, RE&UP's certified fibers match the performance of virgin materials—while offering built-in traceability and compliance.
'This sets a new precedent for the textile industry,' added Nienke Steen, Director of Apparel at the Institute. 'RE&UP's approach separates ambition from proof, raising expectations for all fiber innovators.

‘UP traders driving eco growth, nation-building'

Lucknow: During the 'Bhamashah Samman Samaroh' organised by the state tax department at Lok Bhavan on Saturday, Sarojininagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh said, "UP's traders have not only strengthened the state's economic resources but have also played a vital role in social service and nation-building. " Calling the business class a reflection of "effort, enterprise, and execution," he hailed them as a driving force behind Uttar Pradesh's emergence as a global trade hub. Drawing inspiration from Bhamashah, the historic figure known for donating his wealth to Maharana Pratap, Dr Singh said, "Bhamashah is a timeless symbol of patriotism, sacrifice, and service. Today's traders mirror the same commitment to national progress." Highlighting UP's trade surge, he noted that foreign exports touched $21.98 billion in FY 2024–25, while GST collections reached Rs 9,956 crore in April alone — underlining the merchant class's growing economic influence.

This solidifies Noida's status as India's mobile manufacturing hub." "Likewise, Varun Beverages Limited, which operates a major PepsiCo bottling plant in Sandila, Hardoi, has been allotted Rs 42 crore to support beverage production and distribution across northern India. LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd will receive Rs 20.49 crore to aid expansion and job creation within UP's growing electronics manufacturing Paswara Papers Ltd, Meerut, has been allocated Rs 2.57 crore to facilitate green technology upgrades and enhance paper manufacturing capacity," he said. "Before 2017, industries were fleeing UP. Now, under CM Yogi's leadership, the state has become a preferred destination for global and domestic investors, thanks to policy stability, transparent governance, and investor-friendly incentives," Nandi added.
