'Real Housewives' has filmed in RI before. Do you remember their 2020 romp in Newport?
On May 7, the network teased four new shows in a cheeky X post. "IT'S. ALL. HAPPENING," read an Instagram caption from the NBCUniversal-owned cable network.
"Set against the shores of the Ocean State, 'The Real Housewives' franchise expands into the world of a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations," the official description said.
However, did you know that the "Real Housewives" have actually been in Rhode Island before?
"The Real Housewives of New York City" had a big blow-out in one of Rhode Island's most glamorous cities.
Here's a flashback to when the "The Real Housewives" were in the Ocean State.
In season 12, episode nine of "Real Housewives of New York City," the girls decide to go on a planned trip to Newport, Rhode Island.
"Newport is like a very shi shi place," show mainstay Ramona Singer said. "Great shops, great oysters, great restaurants, a lot of atmosphere."
Singer later said that Newport is akin to a miniature Southampton, New York.
The main cast stayed at the famous Castle Hill Inn.
"Look at the ocean," Luann de Lesseps said, marveling at the view from her inn suite.
They also went to Bannister's Wharf and visited the store tyler böe, 33 Bannister's Wharf #3009.
While the cast thought of Newport as a "shi shi" place, the episode was messy with some cast members wondering if they would be "thrown out of Rhode Island" for inappropriate behavior. They cast also had a fight between two of the stars over alcohol consumption.

Couple shocked to become rare parents to have quadruplets conceived naturally: ‘I didn't think it was gonna be four!'
This family got four times the cuteness. A New Jersey couple has defied the odds, welcoming quadruplets — all conceived naturally. Aja (pronounced Asia) Kennon and her fiancé, Emmanuel Volmar, recently became among the few people in the world to experience such an extraordinary pregnancy earlier this month. Advertisement Kennon and Volmar were excited to expand their family — which already included an 8-year-old son, EJ — when they unexpectedly found out she was pregnant. She assumed that it might be twins because her belly had grown so large, but she was surprised when she saw three heads on the sonogram. 6 The New Jersey couple has defied the odds, welcoming quadruplets — all conceived naturally. Aja Kennon/Instagram 'I didn't think it was gonna be four!' Kennon told The Post. 'This was unexpected.' Advertisement But it was a quartet of distinct heads, confirming a rare event with odds ranging from one-in-700,000 to one-in-a-million, doctors said. And the July 1 delivery itself was an extraordinary event, involving more than 20 medical professionals — each baby with their own dedicated medical crew at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. 'There was a whole football team in there,' Volmar joked. Kennon easily popped out one healthy baby after the other, each about a minute apart, starting at 10:59 a.m. The miracle babies were all brought home right away, safe and sound. Advertisement The boys — Ean, Evan and Eamon — share the same first initial 'E' with their dad, while the girl, Alayha, shares an 'A' with her mom. 6 The quadruplets — Ean, Evan, Alayha and Eamon — were born the morning of July 1. Aja Kennon/Instagram 6 'I didn't think it was gonna be four!' Kennon told The Post. 'This was unexpected.' With twins running in both her and Volmar's families, it was meant to be — though, because they learned about the quadruplets on April Fools' Day, people didn't believe them at first. Advertisement Perhaps even more shocking, Kennon had no complications during her high-risk pregnancy. She even kept working as a USPS mailwoman full-time until seven months into her pregnancy and thinks all the walking helped. 'I was surprised myself by how easy a pregnancy it was, honestly,' Kennon admitted, sharing that her first pregnancy was a bit more difficult, as EJ needed to be induced. 6 Despite the shock, Kennon embraced the news. Aja Kennon/Instagram 6 Because they learned about the quadruplets — pictured in the hospital with new big brother EJ — on April Fools' Day, people didn't believe them at first. Courtesy of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Despite the overwhelming nature of raising quadruplets, the couple remains amazingly calm. 'Once we found out that we were having quadruplets, we immediately got the ball rolling. From the moment we found out, we were just, like, 'Okay, let's get the show on the road,'' Kennon said. The couple is now facing a whirlwind of joy and uncertainty as they begin to raise the newborns alongside their elementary schooler. The family, who initially planned for just one more child, quickly had to adjust to the reality of four cribs, quadruple the diapers — and an entirely new life. Advertisement They've also decided to delay a wedding until all their children can walk down the aisle and participate. But, thanks to their pre-planning and support system — Volmar's mother has fortunately moved in for now — they've jumped into parenting five children quite easily. Reality check: Dad does admit that the feeding schedule is especially demanding. 'It's never-ending, and then before you know it, it's time to feed them again,' Volmar told The Post. Advertisement But even EJ has happily stepped up, offering to feed the babies and change their diapers. And while he loves all his siblings equally, but has a special place in his heart for his sister. 'He's very delicate with his sister, like he'll make sure he kisses her on the head,' Kennon shared. To help with the financial burden, the family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover medical expenses, transportation and the costs associated with caring for quadruplets. 'We are overjoyed, filled with love and gratitude — but we'd be lying if we said we weren't overwhelmed, too,' Kennon wrote on the page. Advertisement 6 The boys share the same first initial 'E' with their dad, while the girl shares an 'A' with her mom. Courtesy of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Their community has rallied around them as the news has spread. New Jersey area mom Facebook groups have flooded the comments of posts sharing the news. One woman whom Kennon hasn't spoken to since high school even reached out and asked to coordinate a meal train to help out. Fortunately, thanks to their pre-planning and local support, they've settled into parenting five children very well. Advertisement According to BECU and the National Diaper Bank Network, they'll likely spend about $4,000 a year on diapers alone. But luckily, they haven't even needed to buy diapers or wipes yet: They have a closet filled with supplies — all donated or gifted. 'Everybody's as shocked as we were when we found out,' Kennon said, joking, 'We're pretty much the center of attention.'

Hulk Hogan's wife Sky breaks silence after his death in heartbreaking post
Hulk Hogan's wife, Sky, has shared an emotional statement about his death. The former wrestler died Thursday at the age of 71, after medics were reportedly called to his home in Clearwater, Florida. While a cause of death hasn't been revealed, TMZ reported he experienced 'cardiac arrest.' Sky, who married Hulk in 2023, broke her silence Friday on Instagram, sharing a sweet picture of herself kissing him on the cheek. In the caption, she also shared details about his physical health before his death. 'I wasn't ready for this…and my heart is in pieces,' Sky, 46, wrote. 'He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time. 'This loss is sudden and impossible to process,' she continued. 'To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.' She added that her husband loved his fans a great deal, 'despite his growing physical discomfort.' 'He did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him,' Sky continued. 'He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he's been welcomed home.' 'Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality,' she concluded. The yoga instructor got engaged to Hulk in July 2023, after a year of dating. They officially tied the knot in September 2023. Sky was Hulk's third wife. The WWE legend was married to Linda Hogan from 1993 to 2009 and then to Jennifer McDaniel from 2010 to 2021. He and Linda shared two children, Brooke, 37, and Nick, 36. However, Brooke has been estranged from her parents for nearly a decade. Only days before Hulk's death, Linda shared a throwback photo with her ex-husband. She posted a snap from 1996, when they attended a convention in Las Vegas. She simply captioned the post: 'The good old days !' Before meeting Hulk, Sky welcomed three children of her own, but she keeps their lives out of the spotlight. Born Terry Gene Bollea, Hulk skyrocketed to fame in the 1980s, bringing professional wrestling into the mainstream. He went on to become an eight-time WrestleMania headliner and six-time World Wrestling Entertainment champion, in addition to an actor and reality television personality. Hulk has been mourned by the WWE, fellow wrestlers, and political figures. On his Truth Social account, President Donald Trump issued a tribute to Hulk, who became a fixture during Trump's 2024 re-election campaign, appearing at the Republican National Convention to appeal to voters. 'We lost a great friend today, the 'Hulkster.' Hulk Hogan was MAGA all the way — Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart,' Trump wrote. He continued: 'He gave an absolutely electric speech at the Republican National Convention, that was one of the highlights of the entire week. He entertained fans from all over the World, and the cultural impact he had was massive.'

Kelly Osbourne pays tribute to father Ozzy, 'the best friend I ever had'
Ozzy's ex-daughter-in-law also posted a heartfelt tribute to the late rocker, who was a beloved grandfather. Kelly Osbourne paid tribute to her father, Ozzy, on Thursday, sharing poignant lyrics from a song the two recorded together before he died at the age of 76 following a battle with Parkinson's disease. 'I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had 💔,' Kelly wrote in a post to Instagram. These are lyrics from the Black Sabbath song 'Changes,' released in 1972 but recorded by Kelly and Ozzy as a duet in 2003, with revised lyrics that showed their strong father-daughter bond. Earlier this month, Osbourne performed what was dubbed his 'final bow' from a throne at Villa Park in the U.K. After the show, Kelly became engaged to her longtime partner, musician Sid Wilson of the band Slipknot, after he got down on one knee backstage. Kelly shared a video of the engagement on Instagram, during which you can hear Ozzy say to Wilson: 'F*** off, you're not marrying my daughter!' which was met with laughs. Wilson and Kelly welcomed a son named Sidney in 2022. More of Osbourne's loved ones have started to post personal tributes to the heavy metal icon, who lived with Parkinson's disease until he died on July 22. Lisa Stelly, who was married to Osbourne's son Jack from 2012 to 2019, posted an emotional tribute to her ex-father-in-law on Instagram, honoring him as a loving grandfather. Jack and Stelly had three daughters while they were married: Pearl, Andy and Minnie. 'The world got Ozzy. We got Papa,' Stelly wrote in the caption. 'One of one. Larger than life. It hurts to say goodbye, but what a gift it was to have him. We will never stop missing you.' The post gives a softer look at the 'Prince of Darkness,' who is smiling as he holds one of his young grandchildren. The post also includes a video of him playfully dodging kisses from one of his grandchildren as she giggles. Other images show the Black Sabbath frontman puckering up for a kiss, cuddling two kiddos at once on a couch and sitting at an outdoor table with Stelly. After Osbourne died, the Osbourne family released the following joint statement signed by wife Sharon and their children Kelly, Jack, Aimee, as well as his son Louis from his prior marriage to Thelma Riley: 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.'
