Caitlyn Jenner inundated with condolences after Sophia Hutchins' shock death aged 29
Hutchins died aged 29 after she plunged 350ft down a cliff near the reality star's Malibu home, it was revealed Thursday.
It is believed that her ATV struck the bumper of a moving car and was thrown down a ravine. First responders pronounced Hutchins dead at the scene. The two individuals in the car struck by Hutchins and the ATV were not injured.
At the time of writing, it is not yet known if Caitlyn witnessed Hutchins' crash or was at home at the time of the tragedy on Wednesday.
In the hours that have followed the news of Hutchins' shock death, social media users have inundated Caitlyn with condolences.
Commenting underneath a picture of the former Olympian's L'Équipe magazine cover from July 2024, which is pinned to the top of her Instagram profile, one said: 'I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one Sophia.'
'Very, very, very sorry for your loss,' added another.
A third wrote: 'Sorry to hear about Sophia. She was too young to go.'
Echoing a similar sentiment, another said: 'Deepest condolences to you and all the families of Sophia.'
'My heart is hurting for you right now!' a fifth continued. 'Hugs and prayers.'
Hutchins, like Caitlyn, was transgender and cited her as the inspiration for coming out in college back in 2016.
In 2017, she moved into Jenner's $3.5 million Malibu mansion and began working as the star's manager, taking over the role from Jenner's ex-wife Kris Jenner, 69, after their 2015 divorce.
Hutchins was Jenner's confidant for over a decade after the celebrated Olympian, 75, came out as a transgender woman in 2015.
She met Caitlyn that year and appeared in multiple episodes of the television documentary series I Am Cait, a spin-off of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Despite living under one roof, Hutchins previously told The New York Times that they 'were never romantically involved,' insisting it was all about work and friendship.
'Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship,' she said.
Social media users have inundated Caitlyn with condolences
In 2020, Hutchins posed for an online ad campaign for Kim Kardashian's highly successful clothing line SKIMS.
She was particularly close to Kris Jenner, speaking to her regularly, and also had a good relationship with Jenner's daughters Kendall, 29, and Kylie, 27.
The siblings once gave Hutchins a stunning heart-shaped diamond necklace for Christmas.
'I'm on good terms with all the family, but I'm closest with Kris, Kim, Kylie and Kendall', she said.
Hutchins' last public appearance with Caitlyn was in 2024 when she accompanied the reality star to the April 2024 White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, D.C.
Like Caitlyn, Hutchins was a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.
Last year, Hutchins had the opportunity to meet the billionaire.
At the time, she uploaded a photo of herself beaming beside Trump in front of an American flag with the caption: 'The energy, passion, and commitment for our movement to Save America has never been greater! We will never give up.'
In January of this year, Hutchins uploaded a photo of herself and Jenner celebrating Trump's inauguration with Judge Jeanine Pirro and other MAGA superstars to Instagram.
Hutchins wasn't very active on social media in recent months.
She last posted what would be her final Instagram post in April and showed fans a broken candelabra that had been repaired.

Melania appears to have lost her groove as she mimic Trump's infamous ‘YMCA' dance at July 4 bash
First Lady Melania Trump made a surprising gesture on Friday by joining President Donald Trump in performing his jubilant signature 'Trump Dance ' during the traditional Fourth of July celebration on the White House balcony. The moment followed Trump signing the 'big beautiful bill,' with fireworks across the sky and 'YMCA' playing across the grounds. Like he's done since his 2024 campaign, Donald swung his hips and energetically punched the air to the beat. Melania joined in, adding her own flair of open palms instead of the president's signature closed fists. The couple also shared a rare kiss on the balcony, to the amusement of the onlooking crowd. A clip of Melania's dance moves, shared by Fox News on X, garnered over 1 million views and mixed reactions to the scarce affectionate exchange between the Trumps. 'He works his a** off and still has some energy to do the Trump dance for fun! LOL! America's energizer bunny!' one person wrote. 'Cool bc I've always wanted her to do this,' another admitted. A third remarked, 'Moments like these show the lighter side of leadership.' Others thought Melania's moves were 'cringe' and unlike her usual stoic behavior. 'Must have been paid big bucks,' one person laughed. 'She does an excellent job faking it,' another said. A third claimed, 'That's a hostage desperately trying to communicate with the outside world.' Meanwhile, social media users debated the unusual PDA between the couple. 'Loved it when he grabbed her around the waist and kissed her. She had such a big, beautiful smile,' one person said. Someone else saw it differently, writing, 'As he yanks her closer and she clearly pushes back. Gold standard of love and affection.' The 'Trump Dance' has become a favorite among MAGA supporters, who use it for big celebrations, including Trump's second-term win, while UFC and WWE athletes have adopted it as a victory dance.

Disneyland announces closing date for beloved attraction
But, thankfully for fans, the popular ride is expected to return just 11 days later, reopening on August 22 in its seasonal form as Haunted Mansion Holiday. This special version features a makeover inspired by Tim Burton 's The Nightmare Before Christmas . While Disneyland has not officially stated the reason for the August closure, the timeline matches up with past years when the ride transforms into a holiday-theme. Haunted Mansion Holiday typically remains open through both Halloween and Christmas, and is scheduled to run until January 7, 2026. In 2024, the holiday version of the attraction opened earlier than usual in July. That early debut followed a lengthy closure that allowed Disneyland to complete several major updates to the ride. Enhancements included a more accessible elevator for guests with disabilities, revamped landscaping around the attraction, and the debut of Madame Leota's Somewhere Beyond gift shop. When the original Haunted Mansion returned in early 2025, guests were introduced to a newly updated version of the Bride, one of the ride's key characters. Though Haunted Mansion Holiday features the same general decorations each year, one element that changes annually is the gingerbread house in the ballroom scene. This centerpiece is custom-built and remains a fan favorite. The temporary closure of such a beloved ride is not unusual, especially during seasonal transitions, but still typically upsets fans regardless, as some plan their visit specifically for the Haunted Mansion. That being said, fans of the original Haunted Mansion have just over a month left to experience the classic version before the holiday takeover begins. For those who prefer the spooky charm of the holiday edition, the August 22 reopening will mark the return of Jack Skellington, Zero, and other familiar faces from The Nightmare Before Christmas. The Haunted Mansion remains one of Disneyland's most iconic attractions, and both versions continue to draw long lines and loyal fans year-round. Guests planning a visit in August should keep the closure dates in mind, as the ride will be unavailable for nearly two weeks. Despite the temporary closure, Disneyland's 70th anniversary celebration will include plenty of other attractions, entertainment, and limited-time experiences across the park.

A notable sitcom star was briefly spotted on a rare outing in Los Angeles over the past weekend. The actress began her successful career in entertainment industry in the late 60s after moving to New York City to pursue her passion. She is familiar not just on the television screen, but has also taken on a multitude of roles in films. The Emmy winner has also been in a romantic relationship with a fellow Hollywood A-lister for a decade. Can you guess who it is? It's Holland Taylor, 82, who's known for portraying Evelyn Harper in the sitcom Two And A Half Men. The star was seen going makeup free while stepping out for a bit of fresh air in sunny LA over the past weekend on Saturday. She opted for a pair of black sweatpants as well as a gray sweatshirt with black stripes on the front. Taylor completed the outfit by draping a light gray cardigan over her shoulders and slipped into a pair of tan-colored slippers. Holland was born in January 1943 in Philadelphia and later majored in Theatre at Bennington College - which she graduated from in 1964. She then moved to NYC to pursue her passion for acting - and thus began her decades-long career on the stage. The star appeared in both Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, such as The Cocktail Hour and Breakfast With Les And Bess. In 1969, she took on a role in the television film J.T. and played Trish Wanamaker in the daytime soap opera Love Is A Many Splendored Thing in 1971. She then moved to NYC to pursue her passion for acting - and thus began her decades-long career on the stage Throughout the 70s, Holland appeared in other shows including Beacon Hill and the mystery soap opera The Edge Of Night. In the early 1980s, Taylor took on a role in the sitcom called Bosom Buddies - which also starred Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari. In the same decade, the star also played minor guest roles in other shows such as The Love Boat and All My Children. In 1984, she portrayed Gloria in the movie Romancing The Stone with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner. From 1992-1993, Taylor also starred in 20 episodes of The Powers That Be and played Dean Susan McMann in Saved By The Bell: The College Years. Holland joined Brendan Fraser and Leslie Mann in the comedic film George Of The Jungle in 1997, and the following year appeared with Jim Carrey in The Truman Show. The early 2000s also kept Taylor busy - and she played Professor Stromwell in Legally Blonde (2001), which was a box office success and additionally starred Reese Witherspoon, Luke Wilson, Selma Blair and Jennifer Coolidge. Beginning in 2003, she took on the role of Evelyn Harper in the long-running sitcom Two And A Half Men. The series aired on CBS for 12 seasons, and also starred Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones. She garnered four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in the show. Taylor had previously won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for the show The Practice in 1999. In 2020, she played Ellen Kincaid in the miniseries Hollywood - which also earned her another Emmy nomination. The next year, Holland joined Sandra Oh in The Chair, which was canceled after one season. Taylor reunited with Reese Witherspoon in the critically-acclaimed Apple TV+ series The Morning Show, which also stars Jennifer Aniston. Earlier this year, she also starred in the comedy Fantasy Life which premiered at the 2025 SXSW Festival in March. She has also been cast in the upcoming series Brothers - which is set to additionally star Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson and Natalie Martinez. When it came to the start of her career, she previously told the Huffington Post: 'I hustled when I was very young because I did not go to Yale or Juilliard, so I had no society when I came to New York. 'I knew no one. I just came blind and I had no idea what to do or how to make my way. And I was lucky. I had small roles in a number of off-Broadway shows and a number of Broadway shows.' She further refle4cted, 'I worked fairly steadily, but it is true that I've gotten some really fantastic roles later in my career...' Since 2015, Taylor has been in a relationship with actress Sarah Paulson, who is known for her roles in shows such as American Horror Story. Despite being together for a decade, the pair confirmed that they still do not live together - which Paulson clarified last year during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. 'I have to clarify this. We don't live together meaning we don't own a home together, but we're together more often than we are not. So, we live together, but we don't live together.' Holland also joined in on the conversation to add, 'In one home or the other, back and forth. A lot of variety.' Sarah continued, 'I think they thought they meant like we saw each other like once a month or something, it's not like that.' And last year while talking to Andy Cohen for his SiriusXM podcast, Taylor opened up about whether both she and Paulson have plans for marriage in the future. 'I don't think so. We've never... no. We've never talked about it with any interest. It doesn't seem to mean to us what it means to a lot of people.' In regards to their over 30-year age gap, the actress added, 'I mean, we have a big generational difference between us, which worries me for her sake. But, you know... what can I do?'
