Kriti Sanon Finally CONFIRMED For Don 3, New Mom Kiara Advani Replaced In Ranveer Singh Film
Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment has finally confirmed that Don 3 will star Kriti Sanon as the leading lady. Kriti Sanon has been confirmed for Don 3! After many weeks of speculation and teasing, Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment has finally confirmed that Kriti Sanon has replaced new mom Kiara Advani in Don 3. The film will star Ranveer Singh as the lead, and Farhan Akhtar will once again direct the film, just like Shah Rukh Khan's Don and Don 2. As per a release by Excel Entertainment about Farhan Akhtar's 120 Bahadur, the actor-director 'is also preparing for his next directorial venture, Don 3, which is expected to go on floors in January 2026. The film will feature Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon in leading roles. Casting for the film is underway, with the makers reportedly in talks with a top A-list actor to take on the intense antagonist role". The film was earlier supposed to feature Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani as the leads. However, during her pregnancy, Kiara opted out of the film. A Pinkvilla report claimed that she has 'chosen to prioritise her personal life" over the film. Reports then suggested that Kriti Sanon had replaced Kiara. Kriti Sanon was often spotted outside Excel Entertainment's office. Recently, she posted a birthday note for Ranveer Singh on Instagram and mentioned towards the end, 'P.S. Looking forward to working with you soon!" These things only fuelled the speculations while official confirmations were awaited. However, now, Excel Entertainment's press note confirms that Kriti Sanon has been cast as the leading lady in Don 3. The press note comes soon after Kiara Advani announced that she has welcomed her first child with Sidharth Malhotra- a baby girl. The couple welcomed their daughter on July 15, 2025, at Reliance Hospital in Mumbai. Meanwhile, even though Excel Entertainment has confirmed Kriti Sanon as the leading lady for Don 3, they are yet to address rumours about Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra making cameos in the film. As for the antagonist, reports claim that while Vikrant Massey and Vijay Deverakonda were approached for the role, both actors declined the opportunity due to the character lacking depth. With Kriti Sanon and Ranveer Singh being paired on screen for the first time, it will be interesting to see who will step in as the villain in Farhan Akhtar's Don 3. 'Won't Keep A Single Penny...': Co-Actor Inaam To Donate Earnings From Radhika Yadav's Music Video
Last Updated: Inaam Ul Haq pledged to donate all earnings from his song "Karwaan" to charity after critics accused him of exploiting Radhika Yadav's murder for fame. Radhika Yadav Murder Case: Independent artist Inaam Ul Haq, who made the headlines for featuring state-level tennis player Radhika Yadav, who was killed allegedly by her own father in Gurugram, has issued a statement about the backlash he has been receiving after her death. In a post on Instagram, the artist slammed the critics who accused him of gaining fame and views on his song video after Radhika's death. The video went viral after Radhika Yadav's murder. He said that whatever money this song brings to him, now or later, he won't keep a single penny and all of it would go to charity. 'A lot of people say I'm gaining fame because of what happened to Radhika. That my song Karwaan is trending, and I'll earn from it. So let me say this clearly — Whatever I receive from Karwaan — whether monthly royalties from @iprsmusic or revenue from @songdewnetwork I won't keep a single rupee," he said. He further said that as long as this song is played in the world, every payment, every month, for the rest of his life, will go towards helping the poor feeding the hungry, supporting the helpless, and doing something meaningful. 'If even one sincere prayer comes from someone I've helped, and it brings peace to her soul, that's more than enough for me. This isn't about numbers. Not about fame. Just a small gesture in someone's memory," he added. He further reiterated that he never wanted attention and has always worked with honesty and respect. He also urged the people not to disturb him, saying that he has no connection with Radhika other than participating in the music video last year. 'Rest in peace, Radhika. You'll always be remembered," he added. Earlier while speaking to CNN-News18, Inaam said that the 25-year-old tennis player told him that her father liked the Karwaan video she appeared in, disputing the theory and the insinuation that she was killed over the music video. He further said that she had deactivated her Instagram account after the song was released. When he asked her the reason for deactivating the social media account, she had replied that she was busy with her work and had deactivated the account for some time. Inaam further revealed that he had travelled to Delhi just to shoot the video with her, which was shot in her mother's presence. 'It was a four-five-hour shoot with her in Delhi. During the shoot, I came to know that she was interested in acting. She only took the conveyance amount," Inaam said to CNN-News18. Amid the probe of the chilling incident that sent chills down the spine, the music video featuring the tennis player with the independent music artist had surfaced. The music video, titled 'Karwaan" by artist Inaam, was released a year ago. Produced by Zeeshan Ahmad, the video was released under the LLF Records label. The music video featured Radhika alongside Inaam in several romantic scenes. Radhika Yadav, the 25-year-old tennis player, was shot dead allegedly by her own father, Deepak Yadav (49), at the family's double-storey home in the upscale Sushant Lok area of Gurugram on Thursday. Deepak later confessed to killing his daughter and was arrested. While Gurugram police said the primary trigger was a long-standing dispute between Radhika, 25, and her father over the tennis academy she was running, her appearance in a music video and growing social media activity added to the tensions at home. The police said that they were investigating all possible angles in Radhika's murder, including what her mother was doing when the incident occurred. According to an FIR registered based on the complaint of the deceased's uncle, Kuldeep Yadav, Radhika's mother was present on the first floor of the house when the shooting took place. top videos View all Radhika was a well-known name in the state-level tennis circuit, known especially for her performance in doubles. Apart from competing, she also dedicated her time to coaching young talent through her own tennis academy in Gurugram. Over the years, she had played in several tournaments and faced opponents such as Viswanadh Harshini, Bougrat Maelys, Sun Yifan, Maruri Suhitha and Mashabayeva Dilnaz. view comments Location : Gurgaon, India, India First Published: July 16, 2025, 23:41 IST News india 'Won't Keep A Single Penny...': Co-Actor Inaam To Donate Earnings From Radhika Yadav's Music Video Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
