Mel B's daughter Phoenix seen smoking 'suspicious-looking cigarette' after mum's wedding
All eyes were on Mel B as she exchanged vows with her partner Rory McPhee in a ceremony which has been described as something similar to a royal wedding. However, later that evening, attention shifted when the Spice Girls star's eldest daughter Phoenix Chi Gulzar was seen outside the reception venue smoking what appeared to be a suspicious-looking cigarette.
Dressed in oversized jeans, a black top and a backwards facing baseball cap, Phoenix was spotted holding the cigarette openly in the presence of others. The photo has been posted all over US media outlets.
The 26-year-old, who had just celebrated her mother's lavish wedding alongside a number of high profile guests, appeared unfazed while standing outside the upscale London hotel where she was staying. The exact contents of the cigarette remain unknown, the Mirror reports.
A source spoke with the mirror, saying that Mel B's children - Phoenix Chi Gulzar and Angel Iris Murphy Brown - were spotted with a third person in dress-down clothes just hours after their mum married Rory McPhee.
The source said: "They strolled further down the street - where they were seen sharing the roll-up and having a giggle, away from prying noses."
This marked a strong contrast from Phoenix's elegant appearance earlier in the dat at the wedding, held at St Paul's Cathedral.
Wearing a powder blue dress paired with a fascinator, Phoenix turned heads stunning the waiting crowd and photographers as she arrived at the historic venue, known for its royal significance.
In 1981, the late Princess Diana married Prince Charles at the same venue. With guests including model Cara Delevigne, Daisy Lowe, fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton and comedian Alan Carr, celebrating Mel and Rory's big day.
However, two guests were noticeably missing from the list of famous faces - Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner.
Although Victoria was unable to attend the wedding in person due to being abroad, she didn't hesitate to express her love and support for her former bandmate on social media.
The fashion icon, famously known as Posh Spice, took to Instagram to share a glamorous photo of the two looking red carpet-ready, accompanied by a heartfelt caption that read: "Sending love to you @officialmelb!" She added: "@rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx."
An insider told the MailOnline at the time: "Victoria has long standing plans out of the country and she simply can't be there. She adores Mel, they get on really well despite their paths going in opposite directions. It's a real shame."
"There is no issue between them, they haven't fallen out. It's just one of those things," they added.
However, the same can't be said for Geri. According to reports, tensions still linger after Mel revealed during a 2019 taping of Piers Morgan's Life Stories that the two had shared a sexual relationship during the early days of the Spice Girls' rise to fame.
Mel's unexpected revelation reportedly left Geri stunned, and it appears their relationship has remained strained ever since.

Justin Bieber has four word message for wife Hailey after split rumours
Justin Bieber appears to have dismissed rumours about his marriage to Hailey Bieber with a simple message. The relationship between the 31-year-old singer and his 28-year-old wife has been subject to plenty of speculation and reports in recent weeks with rumours of a breakup. However, Justin looks to have shrugged off any suggestion of a split with a four-word post on Instagram. Justin shared a series of sunset snaps with his wife on Sunday as they relaxed on a balcony together. Although Hailey's face could only be partially be seen in the photos – one them just showed the back of her head – Justin was clear in the caption. He wrote: 'My forever n always.' Justin and Hailey first met in 2009 and started dating six years later, and the rekindled their one/off romance in 2018 following his split from Selena Gomez. The couple welcomed their first son Jack into the world last August. Fans have been speculating about Justin's wellbeing for months after some erratic behaviour on social media. At the beginning of the year, he unfollowed the Rhode Beauty founder on Instagram, but refollowed her the same morning and claimed: 'Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wide.' A couple of months later, Hailey unfollowed the Love Yourself hitmaker for a couple of days, which she insisted was 'a glitch'. There have been reports that she has has become 'really concerned' about his behaviour', while in April her husband shared a lengthy and rambling post about people being 'jealous' of their marriage. The following month, Justin left his fans baffled after he revealed a fight they once had to commemorate her first Vogue magazine cover. He wrote of how he once told her during a 'huge fight' that she would 'never be on the cover of Vogue'. 'Yikes, I know, so mean,' he reflected, adding: 'So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn't get a vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken. (sic)' He later deleted the post, while he has continued to leave fans confused by his social media activity. More Trending Last month, he suggested love shouldn't be conditional as he hit out at 'transactional relationships', while he later opened up and 'anger issues' and called himself 'broken' in an emotional statement. ‘Big' Sam Young and partner Grace Chen are opening a Chinese restaurant in Potts Point
If you're not following chef-owner-restaurateur-lobster-enthusiast 'Big' Sam Young on Instagram, what have you been doing? The co-owner of Castlecrag's luxe bistro S'more – known for its top-quality produce, bougie offerings and truffle-on-everything energy – posts non-stop pictures of delicious food and private dinners at multi-million-dollar homes. He's also prolific when it comes to being a hustler, which comes from his lived experience of moving to Australia from Hong Kong at 13 – only to have everything, including his passport and money, stolen days later. Being an immigrant and working hard has shaped his ethos. Now, he and partner Grace Chen are opening their second venue dedicated to that journey: a Chinese restaurant called Young's Palace, opening this August in the excellent former home of Raja and Teddy on Kellett Street in Potts Point. 'We've been sold this outdated image of immigrant-run restaurants as cheap, fast and scrappy. That was survival. But now, we want to tell a new story – one that honours hard work but also values quality, creativity and pride,' Sam says, who has also spent time in the kitchens of Queen Chow and Lotus. Young's Palace is also inspired by the couple's travels – particularly the Chinatowns they've explored in cities like Paris, Amsterdam, New York, Vancouver and Sydney. 'Grace and I always find ourselves hunting down a plate of fried rice or chow mein, no matter where we are in the world. Young's Palace is about recreating that joy – classic Chinese dishes that are simple, comforting and utterly craveable,' says Sam. Sam says don't expect laminated menus with a hundred-plus options, fluorescent lighting or any compromise on quality for convenience. And absolutely no modern Asian-fusion. What you can expect, however, are two menus: one with nostalgic crowd favourites – think sweet and sour pork, honey king prawns, General Tao's chicken and lemon chicken – and the 'Chairman's Menu', which is BSY to a T: luxe dishes like lobster, giant mud crab and claypot abalone rice crowned with truffles and caviar. 'There's no reason a bowl of noodles can't be treated with the same respect and price tag as a plate of pasta. We're not here to follow rules. We're here to create something we're proud of,' adds Sam. See you there later this year!

Love Island's Laura Anderson says she's 'mindful of exes' in blended family
Love Island star Laura Anderson has revealed how she navigates having a blended family with new boyfriend Clark Robertson and says she's 'mindful' of her on/off ex Gary Lucy. After finding love with Dundee footballer Clark Robertson, Laura Anderson has opened up about how she navigates having a blended family with the sportsman - admitting they are 'mindful' of their exes. Laura, who took part in Love Island back in 2018, shares daughter Bonnie, two, with her ex, Hollyoaks actor Gary Lucy, whom she met on Celebs Go Dating. Talking exclusively to Mirror, Laura admitted that dating is 'different' since she welcomed Bonnie. "It's definitely different. Clark has kids, too, so we're mindful of that and the exes – the other mum and dad," said Laura, who was on and off with her ex Gary until late 2023. Continuing that she and Clark are keeping things private when it comes to his children, Laura said: "The kids will always come first, and even though I put my life out there, his kids won't be on my social media, at least not at the moment. It's nice, him and Bonnie are little BFFs. I feel really lucky to have him, he's quite hands-on." And following rumours that the couple are engaged, Laura says it's not something that's on the cards just yet. "No, we're not engaged – I was joking! It would be nice in the future… you'll be the first to know. At the moment, I'm really enjoying the new house. Clark and I were doing long-distance before, so it's been a nice transition for us to move in together. "Now I'm basically a WAG. I never thought I'd be saying that! I didn't even like football before," she laughed. Talking about motherhood, it's clear Laura is a natural with Bonnie, but she admits there have been tough moments. "Bonnie had her first day at nursery recently and I started crying when I dropped her off. As a single parent, it's hard to let go and trust other people to look after your little baby. We're so used to it being just us. She cried, then I got in the car and started crying – what a nightmare! "But, apparently, it's normal. The nursery's amazing – they sent photos via their app to show she was settling in. She's a very independent, sassy little thing but still a mummy's girl." Has Laura got any advice for expectant mothers? "It's like a different world. There's so much to learn, and it can be overwhelming, though it's also enjoyable and exciting," she admits. "You just have to jump in head first and hopefully get the support that you deserve. Enjoy the cuddles and the moments when they're tiny. It's a cliché, but, my God, does it go fast! Just be present and don't worry too much about the milestones. It makes no difference – we all end up in the same place." Since welcoming Bonnie, Laura says she's had mountains of support from fans who have reached out with motherhood tips and kind messages. "My social media has definitely changed a lot in a positive way since becoming a mum. It makes you feel less of an alien if someone else has cried dropping their kids off as well! I feel good on my social media at the moment, it feels like a community. "People say they have me to help them – which is quite nice. I have a new-found appreciation for my followers since becoming a mum. I get a lot of comfort." However, there is a negative side to social media too, which Laura has seen the brunt of. "I got trolled when I went on holiday without my child but it doesn't really bother me. I don't feel guilty at all for having a break, us mums need it, to be better mums. Clark and I had our first holiday together, which was much needed after a year," she said of online negativity. Describing Love Island as 'one of of the best things I've ever done", Laura admits she still watches the ITV2 show and wouldn't change anything about her time on it, admitting: "I believe your life's already paved out for you." And while it wasn't the villa where she found lasting love, Laura did make some friends for life. "I speak to Adam [Collard], Kaz [Crossley], Gabby [Allen], Olivia [Bowen] and Shaughna [Phillips]. Mostly the mums – we have more in common now. Maybe I'll meet some of the new Islanders when they come out. I like to check in on them and make sure they're alright. I'm very protective." Admitting that Helena Ford is her favourite of the current series, Laura says of the show's current cohort, "Im hoping Harry [Cooksley] pulls it out the bag and grafts for her. She'll pie him off but in the end they'll get together. Conor [Phillips] is my favourite boy. I also like Toni [Laites], she's very emotionally mature. She could teach the boys a thing or two. It's the first time they've had an American on, she's done well." Looking to the future, Laura says that podcasting could be on the cards for her. "I've had talks about starting a mummy podcast, which will be a nice transition after leaving Capital Radio. I loved being on air so much, a podcast is more flexible, live radio doesn't wait for anyone. A mummy podcast would be a dream goal."
