GSM Arena2 days ago
Infinix recently unveiled the Hot 60i with the Helio G81 Ultimate chip at the helm, and now it has announced that it will soon launch the Hot 60 5G+ featuring a "One Tap AI Button."
The image shared by Infinix with us shows that the One Tap AI Button will be located on the right side of the Hot 60 5G+ below the volume rocker and power button. Infinix says it's a "smart and seamless shortcut that redefines user interaction" with the device and is designed for professionals, gamers, students, and regular users alike.
The One Tap AI Button supports single press, double press, and long press, and can be customized for over 30 apps. Moreover, the AI Button adapts to an individual's usage patterns to provide relevant, real-time assistance.
The One Tap AI Button can also be used to summarize articles, trigger Circle to Search, or get explanations of the on-screen content. It can also launch personalized tools based on the content displayed on the phone's screen.
Infinix hasn't revealed anything else about the Hot 60 5G+, but said the smartphone will launch in India on July 11 and will be sold online exclusively through Flipkart.

That's all, folks: there won't be another Nothing Phone (3) device

The recently unveiled smartphone by Carl Pei and co. – the Nothing Phone (3) – is going to be the last of its kind. The company's first flagship will be the last of its family: the Nothing Phone (3) you were hoping for a fourth Phone (3) model, don't feed your illusions any longer. All in all, we're left with these handsets at our disposal: Nothing Phone (3) Nothing Phone (3a) Pro Nothing Phone (3a) Carl Pei has made it clear that with the Phone (3)'s release, now the family is complete: Image source – X On one hand, that's as logical as it gets. In the Phone (3) family, there's a high-end device, the Nothing Phone (3) , for those who don't mind paying the premium $800 price (on par with the Galaxy S25 in terms of cost). Then, there's the Phone (3a) duo for those on a budget or those who don't need a flagship-grade performance. These two are extremely similar devices, with the Pro just having a better zoom camera, but I'll get to detail in a moment. The Nothing Phone 3. | Image by PhoneArena So, we have a high-end device for power users and those who are not financially restrained and two more devices that lean towards the budget-friendly category. But do we? Sure, the Nothing Phone (3) is the flagshippest phone Nothing has produced to date, but is it a real flagship? Those who'll deny its flagship label will inevitably point out that the Phone (3) doesn't pack the top-shelf Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, but instead, packs the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. That's a powerful chip, nearly as fast as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (in my book, that's pretty decent!)It's not quite "best of the best", sure – but it's a massive leap over the Phone (2) and miles ahead of the midrange Phone (3a) duo. The cameras finally feel flagship-worthy too: four 50MP sensors, including a big main lens, a periscope zoom with AI tricks, an ultrawide, and a selfie cam that shoots 4K. The rest of the hardware is solid. Ultra-thin bezels, a sharp and super-bright 6.67-inch AMOLED display, a beefy 5,150mAh battery (take that, Samsung!), and fast charging. On the software side, Nothing OS 3.5 on Android 15 keeps things smooth and stylish, with a promise of five years of updates – flagship territory. The Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro. | Image by PhoneArena The Nothing (3a) duo, on the other hand, consists of two oddly similar handsets – similar to the point of having to wonder why they share the same fact, were it not for the rear panel design, they're almost impossible to tell apart. Both feature a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging, and the signature transparent design with Glyph lighting and AI-driven Essential Key. The main differences? The Pro version adds a 50MP periscope zoom camera, a higher-res selfie camera, slightly more RAM and storage, and a circular camera island on the back. In essence, these two phones are nearly identical – one is just dressed up a little is now clearly focused on the next installment of its handset(s) – what's probably going to be called the Nothing Phone (4) series. Fun fact of the day: if Nothing was a China-based company (and not a London-based one), it's likely the brand would have skipped the number 4 entirely. In Chinese culture, the number 4 is considered unlucky because it sounds similar to the word for "death" in Mandarin and Cantonese. Many Chinese smartphone makers, like OnePlus and Vivo, have avoided the number in model names to sidestep bad luck and negative perception. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! Samsung isn't going to wait for a privacy scandal – here's what it's doing instead

One UI 8 Quantum-safe Wi-Fi? Yep, Samsung's doing that too Last but not least, Samsung is also beefing up Secure Wi-Fi with post-quantum cryptography, first introduced on the Galaxy S25 series. Basically, it is trying to future-proof your phone against the day when quantum computers can crack today's top-notch encryption like it's now, Secure Wi-Fi, encrypts your internet traffic – but with this update, it's adding a new cryptographic framework designed to survive the quantum era. Samsung is building in protections for what's known as "harvest now, decrypt later" attacks – where bad actors grab encrypted data today with the hope of breaking it in the future once quantum tech new setup improves how your Galaxy phone and Samsung servers exchange encryption keys, which is the heart of keeping data safe on public Wi-Fi. And while quantum computers aren't breaking our passwords just yet, this update ensures your info won't suddenly become exposed if and when that day said, there's a catch – Secure Wi-Fi still only gives you 1,024 MB of free protection per month on Android 13 or newer, and just 250 MB if you're on Android 12 or below. So while the encryption is solid, the data cap isn't exactly generous.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 looks drastically different than Flip 6 in leaked video

Galaxy Z Flip 7 | Image Credits - Mincu Andrei (@andrei_eclynoh) on X We have seen various Galaxy Z Flip 7 renders, and while those are always great to give you an idea about what an unreleased product will look like, nothing compares to images and videos of the real deal. For those who were itching for a look at the new and improved Flip 7 , a video has been posted video was uploaded on X by user @andrei_eclynoh and is no longer available. You can still watch it on YouTube, where it was reposted by Talks Daily Tech. This doesn't seem like a dummy unit, and we even get to see the phone in action. The biggest highlight this year is that the Flip 7 has a bigger outer screen, which wraps around the cameras, abandoning the folder-style cover display of its predecessor. Apparently, the size of the external display has increased from 3.4 inches to 4.1 far from the only change that will increase the Flip 7 's odds of beating the best foldable phones of 2025. The outer screen is also bigger, with rumors saying it has grown from 6.7 inches to 6.9 Flip 7 also looks thinner than the Flip 6. This aligns with rumors that said the phone would be 13.7 mm when folded, down from 14.9 mm. In the unfolded state, it will be 6.5 mm, so it will feel thinner in your hand compared to the 6.9 mm Flip being thinner, the phone will be slightly heavier, clocking in at 188 grams. This will make it 1 gram heavier than the Flip 6, which, of course, is negligible, but is a reminder that while the device may be thinner, it's not going to weigh less. This is understandable, though, considering the Flip 7 is not just going to be bigger, it's also going to house a bigger 4,300mAh battery. In contrast, the Flip 7 features a 4,000mAh cell. Moving on, the Flip 7 doesn't appear to have a crease, which has always been a problem with foldable phones . The crease is likely still there and may become more noticeable with use, but it's still a noticeable improvement over the Flip 6. Samsung was one of the most innovative companies in the early days of foldables, but somehow lost ground to Chinese rivals. This impacted its sales and served as a reminder that it can't keep running on its early success. That's perhaps why it has allegedly made noticeable changes to its upcoming everything is going to change, though. Apart from a bigger battery and the faster Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, other specs will reportedly remain customers will likely not mind, considering the outer display will be a lot more useful now. It will now be able to display more widgets, while the additional space will seemingly be used to show the date and time. The Fold 7 and Flip 7 will be officially revealed on July 9 and will reportedly go on sale on July 25. An early reservation will get you a $50 credit.
