David Beckham shares sweet new birthday snaps as he thanks family amid Brooklyn no-show
David Beckham has provided another sneak peek into his lavish 50th birthday bash with unseen photos. The former footballer celebrated his landmark occasion in style surrounded by his nearest and dearest - yet, there was no sign of son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz.
Despite the no-show amid rumours of a family rift, it appeared the snub didn't dampen Becks' spirits. The star looked firmly in party mode during the wild night at London's Core Restaurant on Saturday night.
And Becks took to social media to share new snaps of the night, which is said to have ended at 3.30am after noise complaints. He joked in the caption: "OK OK I promise this was the last party," mocking his efforts to prolong his special day.
Among the new snaps was a look at Cruz performing Island in the Stream. Victoria had confessed the tune was personal to the her and David in her own loving social media post on his birthday.
Posting the snaps on both his Facebook and Instagram pages, David thanked those who helped him celebrate. He wrote: "Feeling very lucky to round off an amazing week celebrating my 50th with incredible friends , I think you can tell by my smile I enjoyed this...
"Thank you to everyone and especially my wife @victoriabeckham… We are still laughing and dancing after all these years."
The first of the images on show was of the happy couple looking stunning in a black-and-white snap of the pair standing on the stairs. Becks is seen in another in a fit of laughter as Posh gives a speech at the dinner table. Harper is seen smiling beside her.
David is seen embracing his youngest in a third image, before a fourth showed Romeo bringing out his dad's birthday cake. Other shots included Cruz's guitar performance, and David dancing with his daughter.
Despite Brooklyn not being at the parties, Becks did mention his son in an Instagram Stories message. He was enjoying time in Scotland with his other sons and shared an image of their trip.
The former England footballer documented a fishing and camping holiday with his two younger sons, revealing that the trip had been in the works for several months. The visit, which included preparing freshly caught scallops, blue lobster, and crab, appeared to focus on simplicity, family time, and the outdoors.
"Six months ago planned a trip with my boys at the start of last week to camp and fish for my 50th,' Beckham wrote in one caption. 'Was so much fun.'
In another image, Becks added: "You were missed Brooklyn," tagging his 26-year-old son above a lakeside photo featuring himself with Romeo and Cruz.

Cinema go-ers couldn't see new Superman movie after collapse of ceiling tiles
Around 100 people couldn't get in to see the film at East Kilbride's Odeon, but the response of staff was praised. East Kilbride cinema go-ers felt like they'd been hit by a lump of Kryptonite when they tried to see the new Superman film on Friday night. Fans of the DC superhero turned up at the Odeon cinema for the 7.30pm screening, only to find there were huge queues waiting outside screen one. The large queue, of around 100 people, were told that ceiling tiles had collapsed before the film was due to begin. Odeon staff were unable to reach other tiles which had been left dangling, and told the frustrated Man of Steel devotees that one tile was attached to a fire alarm. Many of the crowd tried to book in for the 10.30pm screening, which was also due to be shown on screen one, but this was moved to another hall, starting 15 minutes later. One fan said: 'I've been a huge fan of Superman since I first saw the Christopher Reeve film, and was so excited to see what David Corenswet would be like in the role. 'So it was hugely disappointing that I wasn't able to see him, but of course, safety comes first. 'The cinema staff were fantastic, and went around offering free popcorn as a consolation, with ticket refunds or swaps for a later screening, for those who still wanted to go. 'It was still quite busy later on, but I certainly hadn't been planning to still be watching Superman on the big screen after 1am!' A spokesperson for Odeon said: 'We were unable to go ahead with a screening on Friday due to an issue with our ceiling. The safety of colleagues and guests is our main priority so we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused but thank our colleagues who were on-hand to assist guests, providing free popcorn and ticket swaps for later dates.' Chip Gaines defends decision to include gay couple on 'Back to the Frontier' show
Television personality Chip Gaines defended the inclusion of a same-sex couple in 'Back to the Frontier,' a new show featuring him and his wife, Joanna, about families who give up technology and try to live as homesteaders did in the 1800s. The show features married couple Jason Hanna and Joe Riggs and their 10-year-old twin sons, sparking backlash from prominent religious conservatives online. Franklin Graham, the son of evangelical pastor Billy Graham, said in a post on social media that the casting of a gay couple is 'very disappointing.' 'While we are to love people, we should love them enough to tell them the truth of God's Word,' Graham said. 'His Word is absolute truth. God loves us, and His design for marriage is between one man and one woman. Promoting something that God defines as sin is in itself sin.' Gaines responded to the criticism in a social media post Sunday, encouraging people to ask questions and 'maybe even learn.' He added, 'It's a sad Sunday when 'non believers' have never been confronted with hate or vitriol until they are introduced to a modern American Christian.' Gaines has responded to dozens of other critics in defense of Hanna and Riggs' inclusion in the show, quoting Bible verses and saying there are other TV shows critics could watch. In response to a critic who said 'we are extremely sad because of how much we have grown to admire and appreciate you both,' Gaines responded encouraging Christians to 'judge not' and 'love one another.' Hanna thanked Chip and Joanna Gaines in a post on his Instagram story Tuesday for 'leading with love, listening, and learning.' 'Representation matters deeply — especially for those who are still finding the courage to live their truth,' Hanna said in a longer post responding to the backlash from some conservatives. 'When families like ours are visible, it opens doors for others to feel safe, loved, and validated. Visibility isn't just about being seen; it's about making sure no one feels alone.' The couple has faced backlash before, but more often from those who support LGBTQ rights. They attend the Antioch Community Church, an evangelical church in Waco, Texas, which opposes same-sex marriage. In a 2021 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Joanna Gaines said accusations that the couple is racist and anti-LGBTQ are 'so far from who we really are' and that the criticism is 'the stuff that keeps me up.'
