NBA》Curry

Bulls trade proposal sends Coby White to West contender for coveted 15.3 ppg forward
This offseason has been a quiet but wild ride for the Chicago Bulls. Over the past year, the Bulls' roster has changed dramatically. After finishing 2024 with a team built around the star duo of DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine, both of those wings have found themselves in Sacramento, with Chicago's youth movement taking over. This offseason has had plenty of twists and turns around the league, but the Bulls have mostly stayed out of the spotlight. However, as free agency has wound down, Chicago's lack of a deal with Josh Giddey has begun stealing headlines. Of course, the Bulls aren't the only team in that boat with a restricted free agent, and they could swoop in and make a deal with one of those other squads. As suggested by Bleacher Nation's Elias Schuster, the Bulls could make a deal for Jonathan Kuminga. A potential sign-and-trade could see Kuminga securing his desired contract while Chicago sends back Coby White on his $12.8 million deal. In the proposed trade, the Bulls would also get Trayce Jackson-Davis and a top-eight protected first-round pick. As Schuster mentioned, the Warriors simply need to get off of Kuminga before things get even worse in the Bay. While giving up Jackson-Davis and a future pick might not be ideal, getting back another proven scorer in White, who could be a perfect fit off the bench, would be hard for Golden State to turn down, especially at his salary. This deal won't necessarily solve all of the problems for either team, but it could be a step in the right direction for both franchises.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson breaks silence on Pacers $108 million news
The Milwaukee Bucks made one of the more shocking moves in the offseason, signing Myles Turner to a four-year deal. There's no debate that Turner will be an excellent fit for the Bucks, giving them a much better and younger player than Brook Lopez. However, because Turner played his entire career with the Indiana Pacers and was a key piece in their success during the 2025 NBA playoffs, many expected him to return on a lucrative deal. It even shocked some in the league, including New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson, who was stunned by the Pacers' decision to allow him to walk. "I thought the Myles Turner thing was weird," Brunson said on an episode of his podcast. "Like he just said, 'It's been a decade here' and all this stuff and everything, and then, boom, gone." There looked to be some confusion between the Pacers and Turner. MORE: It was either that the ownership didn't want to pay him what he was looking for, or they asked him to look for other deals and come back to tell them what they had to offer. Ultimately, Turner and his agent decided to go in a different direction and sign with the Bucks, the Pacers' biggest rival. That will likely impact the Knicks if the Bucks are as good as many think they could be heading into next year. There will likely be some growing pains for the Bucks, but Turner is a perfect fit for what Giannis Antetokounmpo wants to do on the court for a big man.

Knicks blockbuster trade idea swaps 7-foot center for ex-Warriors four-time NBA champion
The New York Knicks' current roster is among the most talented in the NBA. Although the Knicks' championship hopes were dashed in the Eastern Conference Finals last season, they possess a solid foundation that should keep them in title contention for the foreseeable future. That said, Sports Illustrated's Jackson Caudell recently proposed a blockbuster trade that would give the organization a new-look squad as the 2025-26 season approaches. In the trade, the Knicks would swap a 7-foot center for a former Golden State Warriors guard who won four rings alongside Stephen Curry. 'The Knicks hired Mike Brown to be their new head coach and made some good bench moves to give them depth, signing Jordan Clarkson and Guerschon Yabusele,' Caudell wrote last Friday. 'They have one of the best starting lineups in the NBA, but they had their flaws last season, especially with the defensive duo of Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns.' Follow The Sporting News on WhatsApp 'While they paid a big price to get Towns last offseason, could they perhaps upgrade at the position and get more depth to round out the team? (Daniel) Gafford would be a great fit in this role and improve their protection around the rim.' '(P.J.) Washington and (Klay) Thompson would make the Knicks arguably the deepest team in the Eastern Conference and perhaps the NBA. They fix their two main issues from last season with a big swing.' The Knicks would receive Thompson, Gafford, and Washington, the Dallas Mavericks would receive Towns and Vit Krejci, and the Atlanta Hawks would receive Caleb Martin and two future second-round picks in Caudell's three-team trade proposal. Although Thompson isn't improving with age, his reliable three-point jumper remains a noticeable strength for the 35-year-old. Thompson, who set the NBA record for made three-pointers in a game with the Warriors in 2018 (14), has yet to shoot below 38% from deep in a season. The Washington product averaged 14.0 points per game with the Mavericks last season, shooting 41.2% from the field and 39.1% three-point shooting. If the Knicks conclude that Towns isn't an asset they must retain to secure their first championship since 1973, the franchise could soon execute Caudell's thought-provoking trade idea. More NBA:
