Unbelievable footage appears to show a drone slowly winching the electric bike down for the soldier, who was said to have been swarmed by Russian forces.
Rubizh brigade, who shared the footage, said three of its troops had been tragically killed by enemy fire during the operation around Siversk, northern Ukraine.
This meant only the one lone soldier remained - forcing him to hold the position alone.
The troop, with the call sign "Tanker" said of a terrifying attack: "Our drones covered us from above as best as they could.

"Then they threw two gas cylinders straight into our hole and a lighter. We caught fire."
Having sustained a leg injury in the Russian inferno, the soldier was left unable to escape without help - leaving him stranded for four to five days.
He said: "Every day, I was surrounded, from all sides. I fought back as best I could."
Chief of staff in the brigade Mykola Gritsenko said a rescue team was unable to reach the injured troop without their own safety being put at risk.

Gritsenko explained: "It was impossible to drive up with equipment because the enemy was everywhere.
"He couldn't get out on his own either, because he had to walk 1.5km to the nearest position.

"In his condition, with his injuries and lower limbs, he simply wouldn't have made it."
But the brigade soon found an alternative solution - airlifting an e-bike using a drone.

- allowing soldiers to navigate behind enemy lines without endangering them.
The remote-operated aircraft is often stacked with explosives, making it a rarity seeing them in an evacuation scenario.
The Battalion Freedom Force brigade explained how two initial attempts to deliver the bike were unsuccessful.
The first drone was shot down, while the second's motors burnt out.

On the third try, however, the bike reached the soldier and he managed to ride 400m - but he then hit a remote mine and was thrown into the air.
The brave troop then limped a further 200m before thankfully being met by his comrades and taken to safety.

A second e-bike was then delivered, which he rode for 15 minutes until he was able to reach a safe zone and evacuated.
Gritsenko said: "To carry out this operation, they had to calculate the right time of day, the right weather conditions that would allow him to do it.
"The weight of this electric bike itself reaches almost 40kg."

US grand jury probe ordered into alleged ‘Russiagate' conspiracy against Trump

US ATTORNEY GENERAL Pam Bondi has ordered federal prosecutors to open grand jury proceedings into allegations of a so-called 'Russiagate' conspiracy, claims long pushed by Donald Trump that his political enemies fabricated ties between his 2016 campaign and Russia. Bondi has directed an unnamed federal prosecutor to present evidence to a grand jury, following a criminal referral made last month by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. The US Justice Department has not commented on the proceedings, and it remains unclear what charges, if any, might be levied against former officials. Gabbard has alleged multiple times that Obama led 'Russiagate'. Alamy Stock Photo Alamy Stock Photo Gabbard's referral was based on over 100 pages of declassified files she claims show evidence of a 'treasonous conspiracy' and a 'years-long coup' against Trump, allegedly orchestrated by officials in Barack Obama's administration. The documents include internal emails, excerpts from intelligence briefings, and meeting notes from 2016, which Gabbard claims reveal manipulation of intelligence assessments about Russian interference in the presidential election. Russia did interfere in the 2016 US presidential election – this has been confirmed by multiple US intelligence agencies, bipartisan Congressional investigations, and the Special Counsel investigation led by Robert Mueller. However, investigations found no evidence of criminal conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia, though there were multiple contacts. Advertisement Democrats have dismissed Gabbard's claims of a 'coup' against Trump as politically motivated. They point to a bipartisan 2020 Senate Intelligence Committee report, as well as a 2017 US intelligence assessment, which both concluded that Russia sought to damage Hillary Clinton's campaign and assist Trump, though neither found evidence that vote outcomes were affected. Among the declassified materials is a March 2016 memo, cited in a separate report by Special Counsel John Durham, alleging that Hillary Clinton approved a plan to smear Trump as a Russian asset. The files also include a disputed email exchange involving an aide to Clinton and a senior official at George Soros' Open Society Foundations, referring to a plan to 'demonise Putin and Trump.' Durham, however, did not establish that the FBI conspired in such a scheme and made no determination on the authenticity of the emails. Fox News have reported that former CIA Director John Brennan and ex-FBI Director James Comey will be under criminal investigation in relation to the Trump-Russia probe. Both have denied wrongdoing, accusing Trump of abusing the justice system for political retaliation. Trump, who has repeatedly called the Obama-era investigation a 'hoax,' reacted to Bondi's move by claiming on social media that 'the TRUTH always wins out.' Truth Social Truth Social He previously accused Obama of 'treason' without providing evidence, an allegation the former president's spokesman called 'bizarre' and 'ridiculous.' How Putin's ‘secret daughter' lives lavish life in exile as mum went from cleaner to millionaire after Vlad ‘affair'

IN the shadow of Russia's president, she lived like a princess - jet-setting in private planes, dripping in designer gear, and sipping champagne behind Gucci facemasks. Now, Vladimir Putin's rumoured secret daughter has seemingly turned her back on her gilded past — and on the man alleged to be her father. 12 Elizaveta Krivonogikh is rumoured to be Putin's secret love child 12 Elizaveta, 22, sports a designer facemask in pictures posted to her social media Credit: Instagram 12 She is said to be Vlad's offspring with his former long-term lover Svetlana Krivonogikh (pictured) Credit: Proekt Media 12 The Kremlin has always denied that Putin has any relation to Elizaveta Credit: Getty Elizaveta Krivonogikh, 22 – also known as Luiza Rozova and now Elizaveta Rudnova - is now living in self-imploded exile in Paris. There, she works at two anti-war art galleries while launching thinly veiled attacks on Putin, blasting the "man who took millions of lives and destroyed mine". She hasn't named the Russian despot directly — but the target of her cryptic fury couldn't be clearer. She recently wrote on her private Telegram channel Art of Luiza: "It's liberating to be able to show my face to the world again. "It reminds me of who I am and who destroyed my life." From Gucci to guilt Born in 2003 during Putin's first term in office, Elizaveta was the result — according to persistent allegations — of a clandestine affair between the then-rising Kremlin strongman and Svetlana Krivonogikh, a former cleaner turned multimillionaire. Svetlana, now in her 40s, went from scrubbing floors to owning a stake in sanctioned Rossiya Bank and a property empire worth over $100 million. She also owns a raunchy St Petersburg nightclub, Leningrad Centre, known for its erotic shows. Elizaveta grew up drenched in luxury - private jets, exclusive nightclubs, and designer wardrobes. She would flaunt her life of privilege on Instagram while Russia grappled with poverty and pandemic chaos. But in early 2022, just before Russia launched its brutal invasion of Ukraine, she abruptly vanished from Russian social media. Putin's prized nuke sub base 'catastrophically' close to epicenter of 8.8 megaquake The Paris pivot She re-emerged in Paris under a new name - Elizaveta Rudnova - reportedly in a bid to sever ties with her past. Ukrainian TV later claimed she was living in the French capital with a passport under the name Rudnova, allegedly ditching the patronymic Vladimirovna, which would confirm her father's name as Vladimir. Her new surname is a likely nod to the late Oleg Rudnov, one of Putin's longtime cronies. 12 Elizaveta used to show her wealth on social media - but her account was deleted when the Ukraine war began Credit: East2West 12 She posted a series of glamorous shots of her luxury lifestyle Credit: Instagram 12 Designer fashion features heavily on Elizaveta's Instagram account Credit: Instagram 12 Luxury-lover Elizaveta's posts showcase her champagne lifestyle Credit: Instagram Graduating from the prestigious ICART School of Cultural and Art Management in 2024, she has since taken on a role at two Parisian galleries — L Galerie in Belleville and Espace Albatros in Montreuil — both known for hosting anti-war and dissident exhibitions. Her responsibilities reportedly include curating exhibitions and producing video content. But her presence in Paris's dissident art circles has sparked fury. 'She looks like Putin' Not everyone in the expat art world is ready to forgive — or forget. Artist Nastya Rodionova, who fled Russia in 2022, publicly severed ties with the two galleries upon learning of Elizaveta's involvement. She posted on Facebook: "It is inadmissible to allow a person who comes from a family of beneficiaries of [Putin's] regime to come into confrontation with the victims of that regime. 12 The 22-year-old is reportedly working at two art galleries in Paris Credit: Social media 12 She also allegedly ditched her tyrant dad's surname Credit: Elizaveta Krivonogikh 12 In a cryptic post, Elizaveta blasted the 'man who took millions of lives and destroyed mine' Credit: East2West "My personal answer in this case is no." Dmitry Dolinsky, director of L Association which runs both galleries, stood by Elizaveta. He told The Times: 'She looks like Putin but so do 100,000 other people. I haven't seen a DNA test." Still, the circumstantial evidence is hard to ignore — the timing of her birth, her mother's overnight fortune, and the uncanny facial resemblance which an AI expert pegged at 70 per cent similarity to Putin. Who is Luiza Rozova? LUIZA Rozova, born Elizaveta Krivonogikh, is the 22-year-old rumoured illegitimate daughter of Vladimir Putin. She is allegedly the love child from an affair between the dictator and his former cleaner, Svetlana Krivonogikh. These claims were first made by the Kremlin-critical investigative project "Proekt" back in 2020. She often used to share details of her lavish life on Instagram, until the page was suddenly taken down around the time of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Luiza is reported to have moved to Paris and graduated from a course at the ICART School of Cultural and Art Management in June 2024. She posts in a private Telegram channel called "Art of Luiza", where she has made allusions to her reported father. Rewriting the story Once the toast of Moscow's rich kids scene, Luiza now presents herself as a politically conscious exile. Her posts have shifted from flaunting Miu Miu and Maison Margiela to cryptic denouncements of tyranny and war. "The man who took millions of lives and destroyed mine," she wrote, pointedly. She also lamented: "I can't make an extra lap around my beloved St. Petersburg. "I can't visit my favourite places and establishments." An older post from 2021 saw her share an extraordinary 'make love, not war' message, in the wake of street protests which saw 5,100-plus arrests by heavily armed police. Her transformation hasn't gone unnoticed — nor has her attempt to claim space in the anti-Putin resistance, even as her background screams privilege. But some, like Rodionova, still see her as as a symbol of the very elite that profited from Putin's long reign — a hidden child from a hidden empire. 12 Svetlana Krivonogikh is a shareholder in a bank sanctioned by the West due to its close links to the Russian president Credit: Proekt Media Vlad's 'lover' Her mother, Svetlana, has never publicly confirmed the affair, but has become a posterwoman for the sudden, unexplained enrichment of Putin's inner circle. She was sanctioned by the UK in 2023 and is said to own assets across Moscow, St Petersburg, and Sochi. When independent outlet Proekt first exposed the story, Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he'd 'never heard anything' about Krivonogikh — an evasion that only intensified speculation. Putin, who officially recognises only two daughters from his previous marriage, has never acknowledged Luiza — nor denied her.

Is this Kerry's most dangerous road? Residents highlight serious safety issues on main tourist route

A cyclist has already been knocked down and pedestrians are in danger every day as are local residents living on the road every time they step outside their doors on New Street. New Street is in such a state that cars are forced to drive up on the footpath to try and avoid each other and the camber of the road is so bad that cars are almost tilting to one side. Parking along the street is also adding to the issues on the road which is also one of the busiest routes in the county as it the main road around the Ring of Kerry. 'Everyone understands how dangerous it is and how bad the condition is. There has been a significant number of accidents over the years and the rate of deterioration is getting quicker,' said Bryan Sheehan speaking on behalf of a deputation of residents who attended the Kenmare Municipal District Meeting recently. "A cyclist has been knocked down, a house has been damaged, parked cars are damaged every day,' he continued issuing a strong warning that that it is only a matter of time before some-one is seriously injured. Residents feel that a lack of works demonstrates that safety is not a priority. "It is a matter of finance ahead of public safety, safety needs to be first, this is not acceptable,' said Mr Sheehan. "It is like playing Russian roulette,' said resident Mary Bernie O'Sullivan who highlighting the vulnerability of those using the road on a daily basis. And the deputation called on Taoiseach Michéal Martin to come and see the road when in Kerry this week. Cathaoirleach of Kenmare MD Cllr Norma Moriarty (FF) who brought the deputation said that she is not one to exaggerate but this situation is very serious. ADVERTISEMENT Learn more She said residents are in danger as are motorists with cars forced to drive up on the footpath to get through the town of Cahersiveen which is not only illegal but a serious safety concern. She said such is the deplorable state of the New Street that tourists are getting a terrible impression of Kerry. The local councillor has been campaigning on this issue and says some interim measures must be taken particularly around parking which would help alleviate part of the problem but the condition of the road and the camber remain a significant issue. Local councillors supported the residents and said works must be carried out on this road with Cllr Johnny Healy-Rae hitting out at the cost of Fossa road works which were 'not needed or wanted' when Cahersiveen is pleading for such works. Senior Engineer Padraig Teahan said the road is a priority for Kerry County Council and scheme has been identified but funding has not. The project must be funded by Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) as it is national road and as of now funding has not been granted. He said it is a significant works are needed given the camber of the road, the height of the footpaths and road condition. He warned that while minor works could be undertaken they will not address the main issues.
