Tui's top lates deals, winter 2026 launch and Trade Hub In The Spotlight
With Deborah Crannage, Tui training delivery manager and TTG Media's head of partner content Maddie Barber.
Maddie: Welcome to our In The Spotlight video with Tui. So Deborah, let's start by talking about the lates market for summer 2025. Where do you have availability and where will agents be finding the best deals?
Deborah: Thanks for that Maddie. We've got some amazing deals going on for the lates season. Customers are wanting to get booked up – July, August, being those key months.
So our top destinations at the moment are all about Spain and the Canary Islands. Over 50% discounts on some of the properties in those destinations. If you're looking for a deal, start with them, definitely.
Not only that though, we do have a promo code on selected hotels. So this is built into the system when agents go on, really easy to copy and paste the codes for those hotels and get savings up to £150. Get in there to get those deals and save a little bit of cash for your customers.
Maddie: That's fantastic. And then thinking about your long-haul product specifically, what is the key highlights of that, and can you share any selling tips for long-haul?
Deborah: Yeah, of course. So the key highlights I would definitely say is our direct flying routes. We are one of the biggest providers of those direct flights as a packaged holiday. So we've got the likes of Florida, Mexico, the Caribbean islands, all with our Dreamliner flying, and don't miss out with those winter routes as well. Because Thailand is growing massively as a key destination. So direct flying in the winter to Thailand, Gambia, India.
Partner hotels is another key highlight. So we work with Rui, Karisma, Royalton to name a few, giving our customers those unique experiences. We work really hand-in-hand.
And if agents and customers are looking for that little bit of inspiration, we do have the long-haul hub on our website. So, it really is a great guide whether you are a new agent looking for some inspiration to sell to your customers. It's a helping hand and it's giving you some inspiration of what to book and what's current. Definitely have a look at those.
Maddie: That's great to know. Thank you. And can you fill us in on everything that agents need to know about Tui's winter 2026 launch?
Deborah: Oh, yes. So that's really exciting. Launched earlier than ever before. We've got over 50 destinations and over 2,000 hotels going on sale. So that is all of our beach products, your holiday concepts, Tui Blue, Sensatori, Holiday Villages, all of those key booking ones are going on sale straight away. Then don't forget, we've got cities and tours on hand, and the important ones I would definitely say are our ones that customers need to get booked up in advance to spread the cost. So the likes of your weddings. Lapland – we've got a new destination – Arctic Lakeland, look out for that, it looks stunning. Definitely somewhere people can go and enjoy that really vibrant winter experience. So get that one on your social media for sure.
And then also, we've got everything on offer for the free child spaces. Especially in the likes of Florida, where you need to save a few pounds. Yeah it's all happening for our winter launch. So definitely have a look at those pre-seasons.
Maddie: Amazing. And you have your fantastic Tui Trade Hub now. Can you just remind us what agents can find on there and how they can access that?
Deborah: Yeah, of course. I love the Trade Hub. It's the first chance we've actually had to get out to trade partners and offer them more resources, e-learnings, especially for brand-new-to-travel. But not only that, it is a one-stop-shop. At the moment we're building in some key highlights in there for agents. So, you've got your promo codes on there. You've also got your round-ups that's telling you all the newsletter information coming from Tui. We have resources for weddings, for tours. They've never had things like this before, they've always had to sit on a telephone line. So utilise this tool, the more you use it, the more we can add to it. Put your requests in of what you'd like to see on there. And of course, social media, we all have a bit of social, don't we? I just think, going on and being able to get on there, get your assets, all your key campaign messages and be able to advertise them is absolutely fantastic.
Get signed up. Just type into Google 'Tui Trade Hub', it'll pop up. Registrations are accepted within usually 24 hours, so it's a really quick way to get in there and get that information. But yeah, please log on there. It's a fantastic site.
Maddie: And finally, let's talk about the support that your trade relations team can offer agents. How are they supporting the trade?
Deborah: Yeah, I'm really proud of our trade relations team. Over the last couple of years they've really got out there and made themselves known, and agents really do need to know that we are there to support their needs. We do want help them grow their business, especially obviously with Tui. And we do want to be in really close partnership with our agents. The on-the-road team are there. They'll pop in, do shop visits, they'll be at events, we can do them. Obviously, I'm there for the webinars to make sure they've got all of that product knowledge, and then our support team behind the scenes as well, making sure everything is running smoothly.
So please reach out to us. That's what we're there for. We do want to be on hand for every trade agent out there, so they do feel like they've got that support. But not only that, we want to chat with you as well. We want to really get to know everybody out there. Yeah, definitely keep in contact with the trade relations team, and just going back to the Hub, if they do want to know the faces behind the names, they can pop on there and there's some beautiful pictures of our trade relations team so they can see them as well as obviously speak to them.
Maddie: Perfect. Thank you so much for sharing all of that fantastic information, Deborah. And thank you agents for tuning in to watch our In The Spotlight video with Tui. Take care.

Ukraine war briefing: Zelenskyy shakes up government with Svyrydenko as PM
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has nominated Yulia Svyrydenko to become Ukraine's new prime minister while moving the long-serving incumbent, Denys Shmyhal, to defence minister. It increases the likelihood that Rustem Umerov – current defence minister – will become the Ukrainian ambassador to Washington. Ukraine's president said he wanted Svyrydenko, 39, an economist, to lead the government and 'significantly renew its work'; while Shmyhal's 'vast experience' would be 'valuable in the position of minister of defence of Ukraine. This is precisely the area where the country's maximum resources, maximum tasks and a great deal of responsibility are currently concentrated.' Svyrydenko posted that she would pursue deregulation, cut back bureaucracy, protect business and reduce non-critical expenditure to achieve the 'full concentration of state resources' for defence and post-war recovery. 'The state apparatus has no right to waste the resources and potential of our country,' she said. 'Ukraine deserves to be among the strongest economies in Europe.' The nominations require parliamentary approval. It comes as Donald Trump confirms he will authorise billions of dollars' worth of US military supplies to Ukraine including defensive Patriot missiles and the launcher systems, known as batteries, that fire them. The US president and the Nato secretary general, Mark Rutte, met and announced Ukraine's European allies would pay for the equipment, with some drawn immediately from their existing stockpiles and then replaced. Trump had promised a major announcement on Russia on Monday, but apart from the weapons announcement he gave Vladimir Putin another 50 days to make a peace deal. After that, 'we're going to be doing very severe tariffs', the president said, referring to 'secondary tariffs' that would target Russia's remaining trade partners. The US senators Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal praised Trump's 'powerful' move. However, they have a sanctions bill ready to go through the US Congress in short order, whereas Trump's announcement represents a further prevarication on taking tough action against Putin and his trade partners, among whom the senators singled out 'China, India and Brazil, that prop up Putin's war machine'. A retired US army officer who worked as a civilian for the air force has pleaded guilty to conspiring to transmit classified information about Russia's war with Ukraine on a foreign online dating platform. David Slater, 64, who had top secret clearance, pleaded guilty to a single count in exchange for two other counts being dropped. He is due to be sentenced on 8 October with prosecutors and his lawyers agreeing he should serve between five years and 10 months and seven years and three months in prison, with the government recommending the low end of that range. Russian drones killed two people on Monday in Ukraine's southern Kherson region. The governor, Oleksander Prokudin, said a woman was killed in the region's main town, also known as Kherson, and a man died in an area north of the city along the Dnipro River.

Lloyds and Aberdeen Investments use tokenised collateral for FX trades
In a UK-first, Lloyds Banking Group and Aberdeen Investments have used tokenised real-world assets as collateral for foreign exchange trades. 0 Tokenised units of Aberdeen Investment's money market fund and tokenised UK gilts were issued, transferred, and securely held by FCA-regulated digital asset exchange Archax on the Hedera Hashgraph public permissioned blockchain. Archax says digital assets can be programmed to automatically follow the rules of trading agreements streamlining the margining process, reducing operational costs, enhancing collateral efficiency, and minimising counterparty risk. Wider adoption of tokenised funds as collateral could also help reduce systemic risk during periods of market stress by enabling digital transfers instead of forced asset sales, thereby reducing volatility. Peter Left, head, digital finance, Lloyds, says: 'This groundbreaking initiative proves that digital assets can be used in regulated financial markets under existing legal frameworks here in the UK. It's a major step forward in demonstrating how tokenisation can enhance collateral efficiency, reduce friction, and unlock new trading opportunities.'

Smitten Jennifer Aniston shows off holiday glow as her new love guru 'boyfriend' makes bold statement about romance
Jennifer Aniston arrived back in the states on Monday following a vacation with her rumored new boyfriend, hypnotist Jim Curtis, in Mallorca, Spain. Aniston wore loose-fitting light wash blue jeans, a tight white tank top, and a beige sunhat while deplaning with Jason Bateman and other friends in Los Angeles. On the travel day, the 56-year-old actress' latest suitor broke his silence about the getaway, waxing poetic about love and joy. 'I am back from vacation and what an experience!' he wrote in his online newsletter. 'When I was sick, sad, stuck and in pain I never thought I would have the abundance, joy and love I now experience on a daily basis,' he penned, according to Page Six. He added in the correspondence: 'I just took one step, made one decision and the next followed — now I look back and realize, oh! That course, that life change, that pain, resulted in this magic.' The actress' latest suitor waxed poetic about love and joy on Monday as he used his online newsletter to reflect on life, writing, 'I am back from vacation and what an experience!' Although he did not detail any information about the Mallorcan getaway, which saw the duo getting cozy on a yacht, he noted that 'the same life that brings struggle also brings opportunity.' He reminded his subscribers, 'The possibility of something better — more aligned, more free, more meaningful — is always here.' In conclusion, the wellness enthusiast Curtis encouraged his fans to get involved in his coaching group, per the outlet. Aniston is reportedly in a 'very good place right now' amid her budding connection with Curtis. On Sunday multiple sources confirmed to People that the pair is 'casually dating and having fun.' 'They've been seeing each other for a few months now,' one insider shared with the publication. 'They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends.' The Friends star is said to have enjoyed one of his books and 'was familiar with his work' before they hit it off. 'She's really into self-help and wellness. They are dating, but it's still casual,' the source emphasized. 'She's been happy on her own, but she's also open to sharing her life with someone. As long as it feels right.' In comparison to Jennifer's past relationships with public figures — like ex-husbands Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux — the source said Curtis is 'very different from anyone she's dated before' and that 'Jen has read just about every self-help book worth reading and Jim coming into her life has felt like fate.' 'It's been a meeting of minds. Jen feels very connected to Jim as they have the same level of emotional intelligence, unlike some of her previous suitors,' one of the people close to the couple shared. Their loved-up Mallorca sighting came weeks after they holidayed in Big Sur in June. learned Aniston and Curtis stayed at the five-star eco-friendly resort Ventana Big Sur, where they put on a 'cozy' display. The pair were seen 'cuddling up' at the hotel's restaurant, according to onlookers.
