Kundali Bhagya Fame Anjum Fakih Breaks Silence on Split with Ex-BF Rohit Jadhav: ‘We Should Embrace Breakups'

News1818-07-2025
TV star Anjum Fakih, known for Kundali Bhagya, discussed her breakup with Rohit Jadhav, stressing the importance of embracing breakups.
TV star Anjum Fakih rose to prominence with her role in the daily soap Kundali Bhagya. The actress made headlines after news of her breakup with Rohit Jadhav, who isn't from the showbiz industry, began circulating. While she chose to stay tight-lipped at the time, she has now finally broken her silence and reacted to reports of their split.
In a conversation with Telly Masala, Anjum Fakih was asked about her ex-partner Rohit Jadhav. She shared that she believes people should embrace breakups just as they embrace love, saying, 'Jab hume pyaar hota hai, hum bohot hi excitement se aur bohot hi khule dil se usko apnate hai. Mujhe aisa lagta hai ki we should embrace breakups as well." (When we are in love, we accept it with excitement and an open heart. I feel we should embrace breakups as well.)
She further added, 'Because relationships jaha par hai, waha par anban hogi, waha pe breakups honge. Jaise hum falling in love ko khule dil se swagat karte hai, waise hi hume breakups ko bhi gale lagana chahiye aur unse mayus nahi hona chahiye." (Because where there are relationships, there will be arguments and breakups. Just like we welcome love with open arms, we should also accept breakups and not be disheartened by them.)
'Woh toh tabhi ho gaya tha" (It happened in the past), Anjum disclosed when asked about when the breakup took place.
Anjum has also been subjected to social media trolling over time, though it has never bothered her much. The last time she spoke to us at News18, when she was gearing up for Rohit Shetty's show Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 13, the actress talked about facing online negativity and how she deals with it.
'I have been trolled often. I have been trolled because of my clothes, because of pictures with Shraddha, for being in a relationship. I have been trolled for several things but, like I said, I don't stress about it. I don't read about it either because I feel the more negativity you absorb, the more your aura gets affected. This is why I don't go to the comments section. If I happen to see a good comment, I like it and reply. That apart, trolls do not bother me," the actress had shared with us.

Jaya Bhattacharya Recalls Rs 1000 Raise In 7 Years On Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Set: ‘Hit My Ego'

Last Updated: Jaya Bhattacharya revealed she was the 'most underpaid' actor on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, receiving just Rs 1000 raise in seven years. Actor Jaya Bhattacharya, best known for playing Payal Parikh in the iconic Indian soap opera Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, revealed she was the 'most underpaid' actor on the show. In a candid chat with Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube podcast, Jaya reflected on her experience working on the show for over seven years and opened up about the lack of fair compensation. Jaya shared, 'I was the most underpaid actor. I never got a raise. Only once I asked for a raise, and while everyone got a raise of 2 thousand rupees, I got only 1 thousand. Ranbir Kapoor Thinks Wife Alia Bhatt Is Made Of 'Different Stuff': 'Her Ambition To…'

Mahesh Bhatt says daughter Alia Bhatt is a 'self-made girl,' praises her drive, and reveals Ranbir Kapoor finds her ambition 'astounding.' Alia Bhatt may have been launched by Karan Johar in Student of the Year, but her father Mahesh Bhatt says her rise has been entirely her own doing. Speaking on The Himanshu Mehta Show, the veteran filmmaker opened up about how Alia's ambition continues to surprise even those closest to her — including her husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor. 'I didn't launch Alia Bhatt. Karan Johar launched her. I didn't know she had so much thirst for acting in her. She gave the audition herself. I just got to know they loved her work. I was shocked because I hadn't seen any such traits in her even remotely. I'm very happy she's a self-made girl," Mahesh said, reflecting on his daughter's unexpected journey into films. What impresses Mahesh most is Alia's appetite for risk and reinvention. 'Alia has astounded me! What is unique about her is that she has a taste for taking risks and she's taken the detours into diverse narratives." Now a mother to daughter Raha Kapoor, Alia has entered a new chapter in both her personal and professional life. 'I see a new depth in her. With this young girl becoming a mother, there's a coming-of-age of a different kind, a different kind of maturity in her. I'm also looking forward to her new films which would be coming out now," Mahesh added. Up next, Alia is leading Alpha, a spy thriller from the YRF Spy Universe, releasing this Christmas. She'll also reunite onscreen with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War next year. When asked about Ranbir's view of Alia, Mahesh shared a revealing moment. 'He says, 'Alia is made of different stuff.' When I ask him, 'What do you mean?,' he says, 'Her ambition to do more and more and more is unbelievably astounding!' While he's a person who's very laid-back and comforted, and he just wants to do enough. She's a go-getter." Mahesh also weighed in on the ongoing conversation around nepotism, acknowledging that while access does make things easier, it's not the whole story. 'Nepotism is a reality, but it's also not. Just because my child is talented, that doesn't mean I disqualify them," he said. He added, 'But it's definitely easy for them. Because access is success. Talented people don't even get access for years. It's important to understand that the voice that's been raised against nepotism, there's a collective anger behind that. That's why we get to hear about that every other day." First Published: July 28, 2025, 11:53 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
