Olivia Munn Says Paparazzi Comments Made Her Pull Out Eyelashes While Dating Chris Pine
The Your Friends & Neighbors star, 44, recently reflected on her longtime battle with trichotillomania-a hair-pulling disorder that she says first surfaced during the early part of her rise to Hollywood fame.
"There's a sensation. It's probably not even real," Munn shared on the June 30 episode of Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast. "But I'll feel like, 'Oh, this eyelash feels like it's gonna come out,' even though it's not. And then when you pull it, there's a quick second of pain. And then there's a satisfaction... and then immediate regret."
The Mayo Clinic defines trichotillomania as a mental health disorder involving "repeated, irresistible urges to pull out hair from your scalp, eyebrows or other areas of your body," which for Munn, meant her eyelashes.
The Emmy-nominated actress, who first opened up about her struggle with the disorder in 2012, says her symptoms began over a decade ago, around the time she was dating Star Trek actor Chris Pine. The pair were briefly linked between late 2009 and early 2010.
"So there was a paparazzi shot of he and I, and it was the first time I was in the tabloids," she recalled.
In the now-viral photos, taken outside of Pine's Los Angeles home, Munn is seen leaving his place in a vintage prom dress she'd borrowed from The Daily Show costume department.
"I asked for the ugliest dress they had," Munn quipped. "They found this blue old prom dress with big pom-poms on the side. I thought, 'Let's see if I can make it onto the worst best-dressed list.' And then I did! I couldn't believe it worked."
While she can look back on the moment and laugh now, the scrutiny that followed was harder to shake.
"I read the comments. And they were like, 'I think she set this up. Who's carrying a clutch during the day?'" she said. "That began my trichotillomania."
While she didn't share where she's at with the mental health disorder now, Munn did reveal that she and Pine, 44, have remained close over the years-and even recently crossed paths again at the SNL 50 anniversary celebration.
"He is amazing," Munn gushed. "We were in the airport lounge together afterward, and it was so great to catch up. He's just the best."
These days, Munn is busy juggling her career while being a mom of two. She and husband John Mulaney are parents to 3-year-old son Malcolm and 9-month-old daughter Méi. Pine, meanwhile, was last officially linked to British actress Annabelle Wallis from 2018 until they split in 2022.

How Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge Hard-Launched Their Romance on Instagram After Glastonbury
THE RUNDOWN Gracie Abrams isn't the only Glastonbury performer to make things very Instagram official with her partner after the British music festival. Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge also hard-launched their relationship on the social media platform with some photos, videos, and a little flirting in the comments. Rodrigo shared multiple clips of them together in a Glastonbury recap carousel—and Partridge liked the post: While Rodrigo has previously shared photos of Partridge on Instagram, she never showed his face. But in the eighth slide of her Glastonbury post, she appears on his shoulders, watching another set. He also is part of the group spraying her with champagne in the second slide: Partridge, for his part, was less subtle. He posted an Instagram tribute to Rodrigo after her performance, marking his first grid post about her. He wrote, 'I hope you caught Olivia's show last night. A truly special performance on such a huge scale. She worked her ass off for it and couldn't be more deserving of all her success and for the great crowd that was watching. What a moment #glastonberry🍓❤️❤️❤️' Rodrigo replied, 'glastonBERRY ilysm😭😭😭' Partridge was just as adoring on Rodrigo's Instagram. In a post she shared yesterday about Glastonbury, he commented, 'Ur the best ❤️🍓' Rodrigo and Partridge were first romantically linked in October 2023. They went to this year's Grammys together in one of their biggest red carpet appearances to date. Last fall, Partridge spoke to ELLE about being a Golden Retriever boyfriend. 'I think in past relationships my mind worked at a different speed to the women I've known,' he admitted. 'A bit slower. The way I would characterize it is like a Golden Retriever and a black cat. I can imagine being happy sitting and catching a Frisbee.' He also credited Rodrigo for expanding his music taste: 'My girlfriend has been trying to get me into more pop recently—Chappell Roan has been on repeat,' he said.

Bethenny Frankel pokes fun at Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sánchez's wedding invitation
Bethenny Frankel is taking aim at the star-studded wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez with a hot take. Frankel, responsible for the viral "supermodel snack" trend on TikTok, took to her favorite social media platform to mock the invitations of Amazon founder Bezos and his now-wife Sánchez, who recently added her married name. "Ok, I've been diplomatic about the wedding, and I happen to love Lauren Sánchez, and I also adore Amazon, so I am treading lightly," the Skinnygirl founder said in the June 30 video. The billionaire Amazon founder and former award-winning TV journalist tied the knot Friday, June 27, in an extraordinarily lavish Venice wedding. Their walk down the aisle came after multiple days of star-studded nuptial events, but not everyone has been a fan. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez tie the knot in controversial wedding ceremony "You know me, and you know I have a difficult time holding back when I have an opinion," Frankel added. Then, the former "Real Housewives of New York City" star slammed the couple's viral invitation, which allegedly leaked online. "The invitation, you lost me and as a result, for the people, I'm going to start dating so I can eventually get married and have a wedding and make up for that invitation because that invitation — I could not stay silent," Frankel quipped. Frankel jokingly said she was doing "the lord's work" by addressing the invitations, which feature nontraditional cartoonish illustrations and added that "it means I take a couple of hits, I get dinged up and bruised and I get into trouble, but the invitation is where you lost me." Celebrities tell all about aging, marriage and Beyoncé in these 10 bingeable memoirs Frankel then jokingly said she's on the market again, so she could eventually show fans what a wedding invitation is supposed to look like. "So, I am open for business after seven months. I am starting to date for the people, and I will be having a wedding at some point," she said. "I just don't know when or where, but I can't wait for you to see my invitation." Bethenny Frankel: Jeff Bezos was 'dork' before meeting Lauren Sánchez Frankel also took to TikTok days earlier, telling fans that the Bezoses "both became famous when they came together." The A-list coupling has long fueled tabloid fodder from those interested in the intersection of wealth and fame. "He was a dork before he met Lauren. He had money, but Lauren was like, 'Honey, I'll show you how to spend that money.' She bagged the elephant; she is the Meghan Markle with no rules," Frankel continued. Those comments were made about Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry's January 2020 step back from their roles as working British royals and the "With Love" star's struggles to leave behind her regular life to pursue the job.

UK punk duo Bob Vylan claims it's being targeted for ‘speaking up' at Glastonbury – where group led ‘Death to the IDF' chants
Rap-punk duo Bob Vylan on Tuesday rejected claims of antisemitism over onstage comments at the Glastonbury Festival that triggered a police investigation and sparked criticism from politicians, the BBC and festival organizers. The band said in a statement that it was being 'targeted for speaking up' about the war in Gaza. Police are investigating whether a crime was committed when frontman Bob Vylan led the audience in chants of 'Death to the IDF' — the Israel Defense Forces — during the band's set at the festival in southwest England on Saturday. 4 The band said in a statement that it was being 'targeted for speaking up' about the war in Gaza. U.S. authorities revoked the musicians' visas. Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza has inflamed tensions around the world, triggering pro-Palestinian protests in many capitals and on college campuses. Israel and some supporters have described the protests as antisemitic, while critics say Israel uses such descriptions to silence opponents. 4 The British government called the chants 'appalling hate speech' and the BBC said it regretted livestreaming the 'antisemitic sentiments.' Britain's Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis said 'the airing of vile Jew-hatred' by the BBC was a moment of 'national shame.' 'It should trouble all decent people that now, one need only couch their outright incitement to violence and hatred as edgy political commentary, for ordinary people to not only fail to see it for what it is, but also to cheer it, chant it and celebrate it,' he wrote on X. 4 The BBC is under pressure to explain why it did not cut the feed of the performance after the anti-IDF chants. AP Avon and Somerset Police said it is investigating Bob Vylan's performance, along with that by Irish-language hip-hop trio Kneecap, whose pro-Palestinian stance has also attracted controversy. Kneecap member Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh has been charged under Britain's Terrorism Act with supporting a proscribed organization for allegedly waving a Hezbollah flag at a concert in London last year. Since the war began in October 2023 with a Hamas attack on Israel that killed some 1,200 people, Israel has killed more than 56,000 people in Gaza, according to the health ministry in the Hamas-run territory.
