Dawson's Creek stars Joshua Jackson and Busy Philipps have rare reunion at charity event in LA
There was a mini Dawson's Creek reunion in Los Angeles on Sunday when two of the show's favorites turned up on the red carpet at a charity event in Los Angeles.
One of the was an OG member of the cast who was Dawson's (James Van Deer Beek) bestie and later had a romantic relationship with Katie Holmes ' character Joey.
The other joined the series as Joey's college roommate, who quickly became friends with the rest of the tight-knit group.
Joshua Jackson and Busy Philipps looked tickled to see each other when they arrived at the Motion Picture and Television Foundation's NextGen Annual Summer Party fundraiser at The Aster.
The annual event supports working and retired members of the entertainment community through health and social services.
Philips, 45, showcased her shapely legs wearing a lacy, white suit with shorts and a boxy jacket with gold buttons.
She wore a pair of bronze toned pumps and kept her accessories simple, opting for a pair of dangling earrings, and a couple of rings on each hand.
The Girls5Eva star's usually blonde locks had been dyed baby pink, which happened to coordinate nicely with Jackson's pink suit.
The Karate Kid: Legends actor, 47, completed his look with a pair of brown loafers and a white T-shirt.
The Fatal Attraction actor sported a salt and pepper beard on his handsome face.
The two spent some time chatting and catching up on a sofa at the soiree.
Jackson is a bit at sea as to whether he will be returning to his role as ship's doctor on the sudsy drama Doctor Odyssey.
ABC has not yet announced whether it will renew the high seas adventure co-created by Ryan Murphy.
The Canadian-American actor, went through a somewhat contentious split from ex-wife Jodie Turner-Smith. Their divorce was finalized in May.
However, the pair are now having issues over what is best for their daughter, Juno, five.
Jackson recently went to court after The Acolyte actress allegedly enrolled the girl in school without his being notified.
Philips is keeping herself occupied working on her late night talk show Busy This Week, which airs on QVC and HSN.
The mother-of-two shares her daughters Birdie, 16, and Cricket, almost 12, with her ex-husband, screenwriter Marc Silverstein.
