Love Island's Harrison and Lauren in emotional reunion after double exit
After one of the most dramatic weeks in the Love Island villa, Harrison and Lauren reunited in an emotional episode of After Sun following their shock departures. Footballer Harrison Solomon, 22, shocked viewers by dramatically quitting the show, just one day after Lauren Wood, 26, was brutally dumped following a bombshell recoupling twist.
The couple looked smitten to be back together as Harrison revealed "We aren't boyfriend and girlfriend but we will get there very soon". Reflecting on his time in the villa, Harrison said he was 'upset' that Lauren was so down after Toni chose him to recouple with, despite asking Toni to choose him.
Harrison said he and Lauren still 'gravitated' towards one another, stating: "Spending the last two days with Toni made me realise Lauren was the one for me". Harrison said his feelings for Tony haven't 'disappeared' but he knew the relationship 'wasn't right' for him.
Sitting next to Lauren on the After Sun sofa, he said: "I am so happy with my decision", while Lauren said: "I feel like him leaving the villa showed me everything I needed to know. It was a big decision to make".
Reflecting on her relationship with Toni, Lauren said: "I had no issue with her from the beginning. I feel like Harrison was the problem in this situation, I have nothing against her". When host Maya Jama asked what is next for the sweet couple, Harrison said: "We just wanna spend some time together, go on a few dates, get to know each other away from the cameras and microphones."
Lauren's exit came after her partner, Ty, was coupled with new arrival Angel, leaving her single and dumped from the island. The dumping came as a shock to all islanders, especially Harrison, who was in a couple with American bombshell Toni at the time.
After reading out the text, Lauren broke down to tears and pleaded with Harrison to leave the villa with her. During a private chat, Harrison asked Lauren if she was willing to give it another go, to which Lauren said she would if he left with her.
The boys told him to sleep on it and not make any rash decisions, so Harrison decided to stay for the night. The next day, Harrison confided in Harry and Dejon, saying he'd made his mind up and wanted to make Lauren his girlfriend on the outside.
He then gathered the rest of the Islanders around the firepit, as he said an emotional goodbye.
In an emotional speech, Harrison said: 'Prior to the Villa I wanted to find a girlfriend, someone I want to introduce to my family, and I think I've found that…. Mine and Lauren's connection was something special. I wanted to stay true to myself and follow my heart.'
He added: "I just wanted to see thank you all for making this crazy experience the best one of my life.'
The drama over the previous days had been intense as Harrison navigated a divisive love triangle with Lauren and fellow islander Toni Laites, juggling both women romantically but ultimately deciding that Lauren was the girl for him.

Watch Love Island feud erupt as villa girl shouts ‘shut the f*** up!' at rival in savage Grafties fallout

Tonight's episode will see the fall out following the Grafties, with Harry being confronted by several islanders. And things continue along the same path, with tense words exchanged after brutally honest clips play out on screen. This evening will see a furious Toni shout at Blu, as he questions her behaviour. A clip is replayed of Cach crying on the terrace and being comforted by Ty, after Toni recoupled with Harrison in recent weeks. Now, Cach and Toni's romantic spark has been reignited, but that didn't stop Blu from shouting over to Toni: 'How do you feel about that, Toni?' Toni coldly replies: 'Everyone knows how I feel about it.' She also says: 'Now do you see how you make people feel,' referring to a clip they showed of her best pal in the villa, Shakira, crying. But Blu shoots right back: 'Did you see what you did to Cach?' Toni has none of it, as she fires back: 'Shut the f*** up. Talk about situations that you've been here for.' Love Island fans claim desperate Harry is 'picking fight' with Helena in a bid to hook up with her villa rival The comments have been flooded by fans slamming Blu for piping up, with one person writing: 'Blu is trying so hard to be relevant 6 weeks later and get some air time.' Another penned: 'Blu give it a rest please you ain't it,' and a third echoed: 'Blu trying so hard to be iconic now that he knows what the public thinks. Get him out.' The Grafties have caused fiery exchanges between the Islanders, as they've witnessed conversations play out on screen that they had no idea about. Harry's actions in particular have been exposed, much to the shock of Helena. And according to viewers, footballer Harry picked a fight with Helena on purpose and used the information received during The Grafties as a way out. Fans watched last night as an angry Harry accused Helena of playing games and not being 'all about him' when she returned to the villa after the Sleepover. A bemused Helena argued it was 'weeks ago' and was not the same as him flirting outrageously with a number of girls, most recently Angel. Harry was seen becoming riled by Helena's previous behaviour - although they weren't even together at the time. Viewers have now clocked Harry's escape plan - so he can go back to ex Shakira - who he was previously coupled up. Harry barked during their heated chat at The Grafties: "I thought you were all for me when you came back?" Toni noted: "He's just trying to pick a fight with her." Conor agreed: "That's crazy behaviour." The official Love Island Instagram account asked fans: "Is Harry picking fights or bringing up fair points?" Users commented: "Picking fights as an excuse to crawl back to Shakira and blame Helena." A second predicted: "When you wish to end a relationship, you find every little thing about the other person irritating, and that is what Harry is trying to do." A third agreed: "Harry has some cheek after all he has said and done - that was pure excuse to slip off from Helena on to Shakira." "Welcome to Harry's Gas Lighting class, please take your seats," mocked another. "He's trying to start something just to start something," mused a fan. 4 Harry's actions in particular have been exposed Credit: ITV

Netflix's 'terrific' comedy axed after four series as fans left 'heartbroken'
Netflix's much-loved comedy Resident Alien has been brutally axed after four series - with fans left devastated by the sudden news ahead of the sci-fi show's big finale Netflix users have been left heartbroken after one of its hit comedies was cancelled after four series. American sitcom Resident Alien - which is available for UK viewers on Netflix - will be coming to an end after its four series. The Syfy comedy stars Alan Tudyk as Harry Vanderspeigle - an alien who crash lands in Patience, Colorado and assumes the identity of a human doctor that he killed. Despite being sent to Earth to destroy the human race, he begins to question the reasoning behind his mission as he grows attached to those around him. The show's creator Chris Sheridan announced today: "I knew going into it that this was likely going to be our final season. "Creatively, that was exciting because I knew we could spend the time wrapping up some storylines and driving toward an ending." He added to TV Line: "I'm so proud of how good Season 4 is and especially proud that we were able to finish as strongly as we did, with a finale that is probably my favourite episode of the series." Fans of the show quickly took to X to vent their frustration at the news. One wrote: "Resident Alien was one of the funniest shows and this season the show has gotten even better. So bummed more people didn't give it a look. Alan Tudyk is a delight and the rest of the cast were great. #ResidentAlien." While a second wrote: "With the TV market increasingly saturated with cheap reality shows, procedurals, and sequel shows, it is so hard to find a truly unique but terrific show. That's why I'm very sad to see Resident "Alien is canceled. Alan Tudyk is amazing in it and it is wildly amusing." A third complained: "Awww man. I haven't finished season 3 yet but I love this show." While a fourth said: "It's worth pointing out that #ResidentAlien not only had yet another great episode with drama, comedy and plenty of great character moments, but they did it with just a few minutes of VFX. Clearly, it's cost-effective to give them another season." "NOOO THIS IS SOME B******T. I love this show sm i rlly hope the rest of s4 brings it to a satisfying ending," another wrote. "gonna miss my fav alien," they added, alongside a broken-heart emoji. Others were hopeful that the show may find another life on a different network or streamer. "Streaming might finance a final season if needed," one fan said. Another added: "Hope they shop it around to streamers, the show is fantastic."
