Do you know your Stanley Cup-winning goalies? Take the ‘Who Didn't He Play For?' quiz
In the Stanley Cup playoffs, it's all about the goalies. The team that gets the better goaltending always wins, except for the times that they don't, but it's always better to have a big-name star, unless it's one of those years where the winning team can just throw anyone back there. Glad we cleared all that up. Let's do a quiz.

I'll give you 16 goaltenders who have their name on the Stanley Cup, plus four teams for each. You tell me which one of those teams that goalie never played a game for. Nice and simple. I'm sure you'll do great.

12-15 correct: You are Patrick Roy, owner of multiple Conn Smythe trophies.
8-11 correct: You're Jonathan Quick, saving your best for when it's needed.

Mets, White Sox Luis Robert Trade Report Surfaces
Mets, White Sox Luis Robert Trade Report Surfaces originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. is just a few seasons removed from receiving down-ballot American League MVP votes. Finishing 12th for that award in 2023, which is his lone All-Star season, Robert posted an .857 OPS en route to Silver Slugger honors. Advertisement Since that campaign, it has been a struggle for the right-handed center fielder. In 173 games since the 2024 MLB season began, Robert has hit just .209 with an OPS+ of 77 that rates well-below league average. Still just 27 years old, there is reason to believe Robert could regain form, which is why he continues being named in trade rumors despite the poor production. Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. (88)© David Reginek-Imagn Images Earlier this week, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported some intel on the trade buzz surrounding Robert. Not only did the MLB insider predict Robert will almost certainly be traded if healthy, but Nightengale named the New York Mets as one of the teams keeping close tabs. Advertisement "The likelihood of Robert being traded barring an injury? Just about 100%," Nightengale wrote. "... It's not as if anyone is going to pick up the $20 million options on him this year or next, but the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies are keeping close tabs on him." New York, currently mired in a skid that has produced just three wins in 10 games, could use outfield help. With Jesse Winker and Jose Siri both out with injuries, the Mets have turned to different options in the outfield with varying levels of success. Robert would be an upside swing for the Mets, but even amid what has been a dreadful 2025 campaign, the Cuban outfielder owns an .870 OPS against left-handed pitching. As a team, the Mets rank just 17th in MLB with a .675 OPS against lefties (via MLB), meaning even this version of Robert could help. U.S. Soccer Fans Furious At Head Coach After Interview Rumor
U.S. Soccer Fans Furious At Head Coach After Interview Rumor originally appeared on The Spun. It's safe to say that U.S. soccer fans are not pleased with what they've seen from head coach Mauricio Pochettino so far. Between the lackluster results in games and some outright blowouts that they've suffered, fans are starting to feel that Pochettino has either mailed it in or simply isn't cut out for the job. Advertisement But those feelings may pale in comparison to how some fans feel after a recent piece of news to hit the wire. According to soccer journalist David Sneyd, Pochettino interviewed for the head coaching position at the English Premier League team Brentford F.C. The team ultimately decided to hire Keith Andrews for the job and it's unclear if Pochettino was even offered the job. "Brentford, it can be revealed, did interview the Argentinian during their search for Frank's replacement. The club, who finished 10th in the Premier League last season, also sat down with former Nottingham Forest and Leicester City boss Steve Cooper," Sneyd wrote for The 42. What's more distressing for American soccer fans is that this interview most likely took place in the middle of the ongoing CONCACAF Gold Cup - which Pochettino is continuing to coach for. Advertisement As a result, many have taken to social media to say point-blank that it's time for Pochettino to go if he's already looking elsewhere: "If Pochettino interviewed for a club job then he needs to be sacked expeditiously !!! A year from World Cup and his name is being floated around about a club job is disgraceful," one user wrote on X. "This is beyond embarrassing and disrespectful from Poch a year before the World Cup. I'd rather the USMNT play with no manager than a rat like this," wrote another. "IF the report is true that Mauricio Pochettino interviewed for a Premier League job while in charge of the #USMNT, there will be SERIOUS questions asked about his commitment to the national team position a year out from the 2026 World Cup........" a third wrote. (Photo by Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images for Premier League)Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images However, Pochettino has vehemently denied that he was even approached by the club. Speaking to Doug McIntyre, he denied ever speaking to Brentford F.C. Advertisement "This club never contacted me,' Pochettino said. 'I never talked to them.' The report strained credulity even without Pochettino having publicly denied it. Between his preparations for the Gold Cup quarterfinals this weekend and the fact that he had previously denied interview requests with even bigger clubs, we can probably assume that some wires were crossed in this reporting. Rangers Sign Adam Edström To Contract Extension
Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images The New York Rangers have agreed on a two-year contract extension with forward Adam Edström. The deal comes in at a total of $1.95 million and an average annual value of $975,000. This contract comes at the same exact value as Matt Rempe's extension that was made official just a few days ago. Advertisement Edström burst onto the scene after having a strong performance at both rookie camp and training camp as he made the Rangers' opening night roster. The 24-year-old found a consistent role on the team's fourth line and made an impact for a large part of the 2024-25 campaign. However, Edström sustained a lower-body injury on Feb. 1, which required surgery and kept him out for the remainder of the season. In 51 games, Edström recorded five goals, four assists, and nine points while averaging 9:16 minutes.
