Top Hamas commander, Oct 7 planner, killed in 'Israeli' operation, says 'Israeli' army
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) confirmed on Saturday that a joint operation targeted and killed a senior Hamas military council member in Gaza City on Friday. The strike eliminated Abu Omar Al-Suri, a Syrian national of Palestinian origin who played a significant role in Hamas' military operations and training. Activists close to Hamas announced Abu Omar's death without providing further details. Though not widely known within Gaza, activists said he was killed in an Israeli strike south of the city on Friday evening. Hamas supporters say Abu Omar came from Syria in 2005 to transfer his experience to Gaza's resistance. He contributed extensively across various areas, founding the Qassam Brigades Academy, which has graduated thousands of fighters. Thanks to his expertise, he introduced diverse scientific and technical knowledge across multiple military specializations. Hamas activists noted that Abu Omar was originally from Burqa, near Nablus in the occupied West Bank. He was also one of the key planners of the October 7 Al-Aqsa Flood operation. Through social media and WhatsApp groups, Hamas supporters emphasized Abu Omar's crucial role in the technical and structural development of the Qassam Brigades, calling him one of the few individuals with a 'real impact' on Gaza's resistance.

Israeli army issues displacement orders for civilians in central Gaza
Ammon News - The Israeli occupation army continues to forcibly displace thousands of Palestinian civilians from various areas across the Gaza Strip, this time targeting central regions, as part of the ongoing aggression on the region since October 2023, marked by widespread destruction and forced displacement. In the latest move, the Israeli military issued a warning around midnight through social media platforms, ordering residents in numerous neighborhoods across central Gaza — including certain neighborhoods in Nuseirat, Al-Zahra, Al-Mughraqa, to evacuate immediately toward the southern area of Al-Mawasi. The targeted neighborhoods include Al-Sahel Al-Shamali, Al-Nazha, Al-Bawadi, Al-Basma, Al-Zahra, Al-Basateen, Badr, Abu Huraira, Al-Rawda, and Al-Safa, among others. The Israeli military warned civilians not to return to the areas it designated as 'dangerous combat zones,' referring to those now under evacuation orders. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 56,331 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 132,632 others injured. Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Two civilians were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Adnan Al-Alami School, which was sheltering displaced families northwest of Gaza City, according to medical sources. In a separate attack, six more Palestinians were killed and several others wounded when Israeli occupation forces bombed a tent housing displaced people in al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis. Additionally, eight civilians were injured early this morning following Israeli artillery shelling on two homes in Jabalia al-Balad, in the northern Gaza Strip. Overnight, Israeli forces also carried out demolitions of residential buildings in the northeastern areas of Gaza City, adding to the widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 56,331 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 132,632 others injured.
