Hard to celebrate PSG's Champions League win over Italian colleagues, says Donnarumma
Donnarumma was a spectator for much of Saturday's final in Munich, with PSG strolling to a 5-0 win, and after the final whistle was seen consoling Inter's shell-shocked players.
The former AC Milan keeper has now joined up with Inter's Alessandro Bastoni, Federico Dimarco, Nicolo Barella and Davide Frattesi at Italy's training camp ahead of their upcoming World Cup qualifiers and was asked what he said to them.
'Nothing. There was a real heartfelt hug with those teammates after the game and I'm happy about that,' Donnarumma told reporters.
'I also struggled to enjoy the Champions League victory to the fullest because on the other side, there were my brothers with whom I share a lot. Here, we haven't spoken about that match, not even a few jokes. We only spoke about the next two games and giving everything together,' he added.
Donnarumma, who has one year left on his PSG contract, has been linked with a move to Inter and was again asked about those media reports after his agent was seen at Inter's headquarters on Wednesday morning.

'I didn't know he was at Inter, I'm fine in Paris and the club will decide on the renewal or not,' Donnarumma said.
'I'm ready for anything, but now my first option is Paris because I'm fine, the fans love me, and the team loves me. I hope to stay there for many years,' he added.
Donnarumma has not always convinced Italian fans and media, despite his penalty shootout saves leading to Italy's Euro 2020 triumph, with the keeper often criticised for errors.
Now, however, he feels he is in the best form of his career, and a lot of that is down to PSG manager Luis Enrique.
'When you return to your own country and you're not welcomed as you deserve, it's not easy,' Donnarumma said.
'Now I'm happy to have found confidence, balance and mentality. I am happy to have convinced all Italians. With Luis Enrique I found balance on everything. He gave me a lot especially on a mental level,' he noted.
Italy begins its qualifying campaign in Norway on Friday, before hosting Moldova on Monday, having failed to reach the last two World Cups.

'They might not perform well in the upcoming matches. It can happen, especially with the World Cup coming up in different conditions. But you should believe in them and give them time to move forward." Raut also praised India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur for getting a match-winning century in the third ODI. 'It's a positive thing because she is the captain. And when the captain is in form, then he gets a different confidence. Such performances relax the captain and give her space to think and plan for the team," Raut said. Raut said India will have to maintain the momentum. 'When you play at an international level, the whole world watches you. Other teams are watching and preparing too. The upcoming competitions will be tougher. On the World Cup stage, everyone comes prepared," she said. While she aims to make her comeback, Raut also wants to become a coach. 'As long as I am fit, I will always want to come back for India. Rugby-Lions coach Farrell says Wallabies will be a force to be reckoned with
SYDNEY, Aug 2 (Reuters) - British & Irish Lions coach Andy Farrell said a Wallabies revival was on its way and reiterated his view that it was insulting for people to suggest that they might not be strong enough opponents for a touring Lions side. After taking the Lions close in Melbourne last week, the Wallabies handed the visitors their only loss of their nine-match tour of Australia on Saturday with a convincing 22-12 victory in Sydney. Farrell had no complaints about the defeat, even if it cost his side a 3-0 series sweep, and he thought the Wallabies could be a real power when they host the World Cup in 2027. "I said to (Australia coach) Joe (Schmidt) before the game there on the pitch, that I think special things are going to happen for this team over the next 18 months," Farrell told a post-match press conference. "By the time the World Cup comes around, they'll be a force to be reckoned with, like everyone's seen in the past, they've got some special athletes and some special players, and that's no surprise to us after how they performed over the last couple of weeks." A decade of struggles on and off the pitch have knocked Australia down the pecking order in the rugby world and the twice world champions made a pool stage exit at the World Cup for the first time in 2023. Farrell, though, scoffed at the idea that they were no longer worthy of their place in the Lions touring cycle along with New Zealand and South Africa. "We all know how hard it is to be successful on the Lions tour against a good side like Australia, and they are a good side, and they proved that over the series," he said. "I mean, everyone has their ups and downs. I've looked at the progress over the last 18 months. Asked about whether he was disappointed not to make it a clean sweep by winning Saturday's final test, Farrell said there were obviously frustrations.
