131 game roosters, several fighting pits, and cockfighting paraphernalia like 'gaffs,' were found on the property, according to the spokesperson.
Gaffs are razor-sharp blades attached to the roosters' legs while in the fighting ring.
When agents arrived on scene, the suspects were reportedly dubbing some of the roosters.
The spokesperson said this is when people remove the rooster's 'fleshy waddles, combs, and earlobes to limit blood loss during a cockfight—making the fight last longer.'
Agents also seized 97 hens, five rabbits, three dogs and four pigeons.
These animals 'were also being kept in violation of animal welfare laws, including being housed in unsanitary conditions with adequate food and/or water,' the spokesperson said.
A probable cause hearing will be scheduled to figure out where the animals will live as the investigation continues.
Three days prior, agents investigating a different cockfighting operation conducted a search warrant and seized 21 roosters.
'Cockfighting is extreme animal cruelty and we have no tolerance for this inhumane crime,' FAPL's Executive Director Gregory Willey said. 'Not only does cockfighting harm innocent animals, but it places our community as a whole at risk due to its links to drugs, gambling, violence, and communicable disease, such as bird flu.'
It is unclear if anyone has been arrested or charged in connection to this investigation.

Top House Democrats demand release of Epstein files that mention Trump
House Democrats on Tuesday demanded that the justice department release documents related to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein's sex-trafficking case that mentions or references Donald Trump, citing a comment by Elon Musk after he fell out with the president this year. The House judiciary committee's ranking member, Jamie Raskin, together with 15 other Democrats sent a six-page letter to the US attorney general, Pam Bondi, accusing her of withholding some Epstein files to protect the president from any damaging disclosures. They also called for the justice department to make public the second volume of former special counsel Jack Smith's report into Trump's alleged mishandling of classified documents, arguing that Bondi has a track record of using the justice department to protect the president. No evidence has emerged to suggest Trump was connected to Epstein any more than has already become public, apart from a since-deleted X post by Elon Musk as he exited the White House under a cloud of controversy and accused the justice department of trying to insulate Trump from the matter. 'Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public,' Musk wrote in his post in June. The missive to Bondi came a day after the justice department and the FBI issued a memo that concluded that no secret client list of Epstein existed and reaffirmed the conclusion reached by federal investigators in 2019 that he died by suicide in a Manhattan jail cell awaiting trial. The justice department also released video surveillance of the hallway outside of Epstein's cell, although the digital clock on the tape skipped from 11:58:58pm to 12:00am. Officials did not address the jump and added that no further materials would be made public. 'This administration has repeatedly claimed that President Trump is 'the most transparent and accessible president in American history'. So far, your DOJ has not only failed to live up to this promise, but you have also consistently hidden from the American public materials and information that may be damaging to President Trump,' the letter said. The release of the Epstein files has become an unlikely goal for the Trump administration after Bondi spent months hyping up the materials as being full of damaging details related to child porn and sex trafficking, creating anticipation among a core group of the president's supporters. The release of the first batch of documents related to the files, handed out to handpicked Trump-world personalities at the White House in white binders bearing the imprimatur of the justice department's seal, prompted widespread derision for containing no new information. As detailed in the judiciary committee Democrats' letter, Bondi then rapidly promised in a series of Fox News interviews that a number of teams at the department and the FBI were reviewing hundreds more pages from the Epstein files that would be made public in a second release. But the second release has also fallen flat. The justice department's Monday memo undercut Bondi's own statements and repeated conclusions reached by federal investigators years earlier. With Democrats in the minority, the request for the Epstein files or the second volume of Smith's final report into the classified documents case is almost certain to go unanswered. It was not clear whether Republicans on the committee would join the request. Republicans on the House judiciary committee have instead focused their time investigating the justice department's criminal cases against Trump. The Guardian previously reported in May that the committee interviewed former classified documents case prosecutor Jay Bratt. In that appearance, Bratt asserted his fifth amendment right against self-incrimination, which a spokesperson said he chose to do because 'this administration and its proxies have made no effort to hide their willingness to weaponize the machinery of government against those they perceive as political enemies'.

Judge Rules Don Lemon Can Proceed With Claims In Lawsuit Against Elon Musk's X
A San Francisco judge ruled that Don Lemon has met the threshold to continue his lawsuit against Elon Musk's X on claims including fraud, misappropriation of name and likeness and breach of implied contract. The Superior Court judge, Harold Kahn, tossed out a series of other claims, including negligent misrepresentation, defamation, retaliation, negligence and harassment. Lemon was to host exclusive content on X as he launched a new show in early 2024, but Musk abruptly canceled the partnership after he did a sometimes contentious sit down interview with the former CNN host. According to the complaint, filed in Superior Court in San Francisco, Musk sent a text to Lemon's agent with the words, 'contract is canceled.' Lemon's attorney, Carney Shegerian, said in a statement, 'The ruling means Don can hold X and Musk accountable in open court. Musk is subject to the legal process, just like everyone else, and that's important. There's no question about Musk's motives and liability, as documented in his own texts and on X for millions to see.' An attorney for X did not immediately return a request for comment. Musk had sought to move the case to federal court in Texas, but that was denied. The judge's ruling is not on the merits, but on whether Lemon adequately made claims that can be argued in court. The judge also ruled that Lemon can pursue claims on promissory estoppel and unjust enrichment. He also will allow Lemon to correct a claim of breach of express contract, noting that his lawsuit did not specify whether it was 'oral, written or implied.' According to the lawsuit, Lemon initially met with Yaccarino and Brett Weitz, head of content, talent and brand sales, in December, 2023, where they assured him that he had X's 'full support,' that he would have 'full authority' over his work and that the platform would not interfere. According to the lawsuit, X represented to Lemon that the deal would be for one year, 'if he agreed to provide Defendants exclusive rights to specific video content for a 24-hour period before it could be dispersed to other platforms: (1) one piece of long-form video content (that is not breaking news) per week; and (2) ten pieces of short-form video content per month.' In return, Lemon was to receive $1.5 million, as well as a number of other incentives, including the option to renew two times at the same terms, 60% of the gross revenue from the programmatic advertising generated by the content, and 'performance threshold' payments based on followers reached, according to the lawsuit. Lemon claimed in the lawsuit that he was then 'rushed' into agreeing to the partnership deal, and was informed that it would be withdrawn unless he attended the CES conference in January and announced it on X the same day, a move meant to entice advertisers. With that, and his 'knowledge of Yaccarino's reputation as a successful media executive, Lemon agreed to enter into the exclusive partnership deal,' according to the lawsuit. Lemon interviewed Musk on March 8, but a day later Musk informed Lemon's agent that the deal was off, and that the 'contract is canceled.' Per the lawsuit, Weitz then told Lemon that they were 'not going to pay him or follow through with the promises and representations made to him because there was no signed agreement, despite Musk previously representing to Lemon that there would be no need for a formal written agreement or to 'fill out paperwork.'' Lemon, though, claimed that there was an 'express agreement.' The judge ruled that Lemon did not show that there was 'minimal merit' to his defamation claims, writing that some of Musk's comments were 'either non-actionable opinions or not susceptible to a defamatory interpretation.' Those included a comparison that Musk made of Lemon to Veruca Salt, a character in Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In denying the harassment claim, the judge ruled that he 'fails to present any evidence that X invidiously targeted him because of his protected status.' Here's The Timeline Of MAGA's Epstein Files Meltdown—As Trump Denies Bondi Mentioned His Name Appeared
President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Attorney General Pam Bondi did not mention whether his name appeared in the so-called Epstein files, making the comment to reporters as he faces backlash from his base over the Justice Department's decision not to release more information about the disgraced financier. Getty Images Feb. 27 At a press event featuring MAGA influencers and podcasters, Bondi handed out binders full of what her office called 'declassified' Epstein records but also admitted most of them had been 'previously leaked but never released in a formal capacity'—and backlash quickly began growing as observers realized the files contained no new names or revelations. Feb. 28 Shortly after the 'Epstein Files: Phase 1' event, Bondi said the FBI failed to disclose 'thousands of pages of documents related to the investigation and indictment of Epstein,' and asked FBI Director Kash Patel to deliver the remaining 'records, documents, audio and video recordings, and materials related to Jeffrey Epstein and his clients, regardless of how such information was obtained.' March 14 Pam Bondi gave an interview to Fox News, answering a question about a so-called Epstein client list by saying it was 'sitting on my desk right now'—Bondi and the White House have since claimed the attorney general was referring to the entire tranche of documents related to the Epstein prosecution. July 12 Trump doubles down on the criticism of MAGA influencers and reporters questioning the lack of answers from the administration's Epstein probe, praising Bondi for doing a 'FANTASTIC JOB' and pushing the Justice Department to investigate controversies he has harped on for years: the Hunter Biden laptop, Democratic campaign fundraising site ActBlue, and questioning the results of the 2020 presidential election. July 13 Speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews, Trump said he spoke with Bongino the same day, calling him a 'good guy' and defending him amidst the reports he might resign over the weekend: 'I've known him a long time, I've done his show many, many times,' Trump said, before insisting 'no, I think he's in good shape.' July 15 Trump replied 'no' to a reporter's question about whether Bondi mentioned to him whether his name appeared in the files, later praising Bondi for handling the situation 'very well' and claiming the records were 'made up' by his political opponents, including ex-FBI Director James Comey, former President Barack Obama and the Biden administration. Patel's post Saturday came amid multiple reports that Patel and Bongino had butted heads with Bondi over the DOJ's memo Monday saying the agency will not release further documents on Epstein, which also said an Epstein 'client list' does not exist and asserted the financier died by suicide in 2019. CNN reports Patel was involved in a meeting this week with Bongino and Bondi over the 'major clash' between the FBI and DOJ over how to handle the Epstein documents. It's unclear whether Patel's reference to 'conspiracy theories' in his post Saturday referred to the allegations of infighting between the DOJ and FBI, or to the conspiracy theories regarding Epstein, which Patel repeatedly pushed himself before joining the FBI. Patel's comments follow Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche claiming Friday Patel and Bongino had personally signed off on the Epstein memo, writing, 'The suggestion by anyone that there was any daylight between the FBI and DOJ leadership on this memo's composition and release is patently false.' It's still unclear whether Bongino will resign from the FBI as he's reportedly considering, with sources telling CNN on Friday the deputy director had ultimately not made up his mind. It also remains to be seen what will happen with Bondi, as Trump's base revolts against the attorney general. Trump—who knew Epstein but has not been accused of any wrongdoing in connection to him—has not expressed any desire to fire Bondi in recent days and has downplayed the 'Epstein Files,' saying it was 'unbelievable' that reporters asked about the issue during his Cabinet meeting Tuesday. 'I mean, I can't believe you're asking a question on Epstein at a time like this, where we're having some of the greatest success and also tragedy with what happened in Texas,' Trump told reporters. 'It just seems like a desecration.' Tangent Bondi appeared to try and curry favor with figures on the far-right Saturday, announcing the DOJ was dropping charges against a plastic surgeon accused of fraud in connection to COVID-19 vaccines. The attorney general singled out Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., for pushing for the doctor's freedom, with Bondi saying the dismissal 'would not have been possible' without Greene and praising her as 'a warrior for Dr. Moore and for ending the weaponization of government.' Greene has publicly criticized the DOJ's Epstein memo in recent days and continued to call for documents to be released, sharing allegations that the documents were being 'suppressed' on Thursday and writing, 'RELEASE THE EPSTEIN CLIENT LIST!!!!' The attorney general also fired several of the president's perceived enemies this week, including at least nine prosecutors and other employees who were involved with federal criminal cases against Trump. What Has Kash Patel Said About Epstein? Prior to joining the Trump administration, Patel repeatedly pushed for the Epstein files to be publicly released and criticized the government for withholding documents, claiming in a December 2023 podcast appearance that the Biden administration was withholding documents 'because of who's on that list.' 'You don't think that Bill Gates is lobbying Congress night and day to prevent the disclosure of that list?' Patel said, adding, 'Put on your big boy pants, and let us know who the pedophiles are.' The FBI director took a different tone in May, however, when Patel and Bongino—who also previously pushed conspiracy theories related to Epstein—rebutted the theory that Epstein was murdered in prison, saying in an interview they confirmed the financier died by suicide. 'Listen, they have a right to their opinion,' Patel told FOX Business host Maria Bartiromo about those who believe the conspiracy theory, 'but as someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor who's been in that prison system, who's been in the Metropolitan Detention Center, who's been in segregated housing, um, you know a suicide when you see one, and that's what that was.' The FBI director still suggested he wanted the government to release its files on the Epstein case, however, telling Fox News in May, 'We are diligently working on that' but 'it takes time to go through years of investigations.' Key Background Epstein allegedly abused more than 100 women between 2002 and 2018, assembling an alleged network of underage women who were allegedly abused by him and associates. He was indicted in federal court in 2019 for sex trafficking and died in prison later that year. The financier's crimes have continued to garner widespread attention, particularly due to his links to numerous well-known figures like Trump, Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew, and many following the case have hoped for documents like a 'client list' that would detail Epstein's connections—even as there's no indication such a list exists. (Like Trump, Clinton has not been accused of any wrongdoing.) The Trump administration initially promised to be transparent about the Epstein files in the government's possession, but has faced criticism over the rollout, with Bondi releasing information in February that was already largely public. The attorney general previously claimed more documents would be released, but did not give any timeline for doing so, and publicly blamed the FBI for allegedly withholding thousands of documents from her office. FBI officials reportedly were also directed to prioritize processing Epstein documents in March.
