That means the existing package will now cost £33.99 a month instead of £30.99.
TNT Sports will show 52 Premier League matches during the 2025/26 season.
Their first is Aston Villa v Newcastle United on August 16.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports will broadcast the most with the rights to 215 games.
"Taking the absolute p*** now," one frustrated viewer raged on X.
"What a bargain hey? I'll be cancelling," another raged.
The move comes as part of a shake-up to the Discovery+ packages, with a new tier now available.
This provides a way to keep the old TNT Sports subscription price of £30.99 but it will mean sacrificing some of the content you had access to previously.
And you'll need to manually switch within your account to advantage if that's of interest.
In an email to customers, the broadcaster said: "Thank you for being a discovery+ subscriber.
Premier League's most expensive season ticket prices revealed with Man Utd just seventh highest
"We want to let you know about changes to your subscription plan.
"On your next billing date on or after 28 August 2025, your monthly discovery+ Premium (incl. TNT Sports) subscription price will increase to £33.99/month.
"Your plan name will also change to 'TNT Sports & Entertainment'."
So how can you save?
Previously, there were only two tiers, Discovery+ Basic which had no sport at all and remains at £3.99 per month.
Meanwhile Discovery+ Premium had all that plus TNT Sports.
Wedged between the pair is now a third option, Discovery+ TNT Sports.
This essentially provides access to everything TNT Sports has to offer, including Premier League and UEFA Champions League, Autumn Nations Series and Moto GP.
But you won't be able to watch Discovery+'s non-sport content available for £30.99 per month with reality from TLC, documentaries from Discovery Channel and more.
If you're not fussed about the non-sport shows, it might be worthwhile downgrading to this to avoid the price hike.

Arsenal transfer news: Real Madrid star Rodrygo makes major call amid Liverpool hijack
Arsenal have had a very busy summer transfer window so far with Mikel Arteta welcoming a host of new faces to North London and it appears that some other big signings could be in the offing The 2025/26 Premier League season is drawing ever closer for Arsenal. There's now less than two weeks until the Gunners' opening game of the campaign against Manchester United at Old Trafford. It all means there's still plenty of work for Mikel Arteta to do to get his squad in the best position it can be. Two pre-season friendlies remain for the North London side to test themselves ahead of meeting the Red Devils against Spanish duo Villarreal and Athletic Bilbao. Those two games will give a host of new signings more chances to integrate, with ex-Chelsea man Noni Madueke finally expected to link up with his new teammates. Meanwhile, Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi and Cristhian Mosquera will all get the chance to step out at the Emirates Stadium for the first time. While Arsenal already have a host of new faces in situ, their work in the transfer market might not be quite finished yet. Arsenal remain keen on adding a new winger to their squad. And it appears that they already know the man they want. Take a look at all of the latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Rodrygo makes transfer decision Rodrygo looks set to stay with Real Madrid despite serious interest from the Premier League. Arsenal were previously linked with a move for the Brazilian wideman this summer, albeit there is competition from Liverpool and Tottenham. But it appears that Rodrygo wants to stay where he is. According to Spanish outlet AS, Rodrygo is now keen to stay at the Bernabeu and fight for his place under Xabi Alonso. Rodrygo believes he has enough quality to add to the existing options at the club. And that could potentially force Arsenal to look elsewhere for attacking recruits. Liverpool complete hijack While Liverpool were potentially looking to rival Arsenal for Rodrygo, the Reds have already beaten their Premier League rivals in the race for one player. The Reds have confirmed a deal for Salford City striker Will Wright despite the Gunners having agreed a deal for the teenager. It was previously reported that Arsenal offered around £250k for the youngster but he has instead opted to move to Anfield. Wright has already played for Liverpool's under-21 side after completing his switch to Anfield. Wonderkid rejects move French defender Jeremy Jacquet has turned down a move to Arsenal after an approach from the Gunners. It was suggested that the North London side had made an attempt to sign the 20-year-old. But Jacquet has rejected that opportunity according to Foot Mercato and his current club Rennes are now attempting to rebuff any further interest having offered the youngster a new deal until 2029.

BP makes biggest find in 25 years as it refocuses on fossil fuels
Energy giant BP says it has made its largest oil and gas discovery this century as it shifts its focus away from renewable energy and back to fossil UK-based firm said on Monday that it is conducting tests at the site in deep water off Brazil's west coast. The discovery could play a major role in BP's plans to increase crude oil executive Gordon Birrell says the discovery is "BP's largest in 25 years" and that the firm will explore building a production hub February, BP slashed its planned investments in renewable energy and said it would spend billions of dollars more a year on its oil and gas operations, as it aims to boost investor confidence. BP said it had found a roughly 500-metre area of oil and gas at the Bumerangue block in the Santos basin, 250 miles (400km) off Brazil's west said the discovery was the company's biggest since the Shah Deniz gas field in the Caspian Sea in find adds to BP's several other discoveries of energy reserves this year, including those in the Gulf of Mexico, which is called the Gulf of America by the administration of US President Donald Trump, and Egypt."This is another success in what has been an exceptional year so far for our exploration team", said Mr Birrell, the firm's executive vice president for production and attempt to transform itself into a "net zero" energy producer has faced major hurdles since it put the plan into action five years 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic pushed it to a $5.7bn (£4.29bn) annual also took a $25bn hit two years later from writing off a stake in its Russian energy business after the start of the Ukraine share price has also come under pressure as it pumped billions of dollars into renewable energy, while rival companies benefitted from soaring oil and gas prices in the wake of Russia's invasion of shares rose by a little over 1% in London trading after the announcement.

Man Utd transfer news: Benjamin Sesko boost as Bruno Fernandes makes demand
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes wants to see more signings before the transfer window slams shut and RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko is their top target Manchester United are looking to bounce back this season after their worst ever Premier League finish. United finished 15th last season and failed to qualify for the Champions League after losing the Europa League final to Tottenham. They have already strengthened their squad with additions of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon, while Marcus Rashford has joined Barcelona on loan and Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof have been released. Plenty more incomings and outgoings are expected before the transfer window slams shut, with Ruben Amorim keen to ship out the likes of Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia. Sesko boost Manchester United have received a boost in their pursuit of Benjamin Sesko after it emerged that the striker's RB Leipzig team-mate Lois Openda will not be making the move to Sunderland. United and Newcastle are both interested in signing Sesko, who netted 21 goals in 45 games across all competitions last season. Fellow Leipzig striker Openda had been heavily linked with Sunderland and it is unlikely they would have let two forwards leave in the same window. However, Sky Sports are now reporting that Openda will not be joining Sunderland and that Leipzig are likely to sell Sesko instead. Fernandes' transfer demand Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has said the club need to add "more quality" in the transfer market this summer. "It's improving, but it's not where we want it to be," Fernandes said after United drew 2-2 with Everton in pre-season. "It's a game of football, there's always passion there. Whatever happens, happens. There was nothing spicy there, it's normal, it is part of the game. It's been positive [the US tour] and it's good to create a bond with the players. "We looked a bit lazy today and we need to change that. We needed more quality to get everyone to step up a bit more and to have more to do to get into the starting line-up. I think that's what the club and the manager are trying to do and hopefully we can get one or two players more to help with that." Shearer verdict Former Premier League striker Alan Shearer is confident that Benjamin Sesko will be a success if he joins Manchester United this summer. When asked if Sesko has the skill-set to thrive in England, Shearer told Amazon Prime: "I do, I think it's a matter of who can afford him. There is no doubt that this football club has a history of making an absolute fortune on transfers and this guy could be the next one to come into the Premier League. "Either foot - left or right - which is great to see. The work rate, the work off the ball, he's got all them things and he's got very good technique, good balance and I don't think there is a doubt in my mind that and he would look very comfortable in the Premier League. I do think he has a lot to learn, but he can learn no doubt."
