Patriots DC Terrell Williams suffers health scare at practice
Inside linebackers coach Zak Kuhr took over the defensive playcalling after Williams left training camp practice early on Monday. It's important to note that Kuhr was the defensive play-caller throughout the spring practices as well, when Williams was away from the team with health issues.
Back in May, Williams admitted that he was undergoing a serious lifestyle change after ignoring doctors and others in his life when it came to eating right, working out and taking medication.
Williams' health is more important than football. Hopefully, he bounces back strongly and can get back to doing what he loves to do.

Latest 2026 bracketology projects UNC basketball to face familiar foe in NCAA Tournament
Preseason bracketology matchups rarely happen. The North Carolina Tar Heels' basketball program is looking to avoid what happened in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. After barely getting into the tournament, UNC beat San Diego State in the first four before falling to Ole Miss in the opening round. Season-long issues then resurfaced in the Tar Heels' loss to the Rebels and this past offseason saw an overhaul of the roster. In Joe Lunardi's latest round of 2026 bracketology, UNC earns a six seed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament. North Carolina is projected to a familiar opponent, 11-seed San Diego State, who advances via winning a First Four matchup. If this actual matchup takes place, Lunardi will cement himself as the top bracketologist in college basketball history (not that he already isn't). Lunardi might anger fans occasionally, but he's pretty accurate. Whereas the Tar Heels carried a guard-heavy roster last year, their upcoming roster will be post-heavy. UNC will carry 7-footers Henri Veesaar and Ivan Matlekovic at center, plus 6'11" Jarin Stevenson and 6'9" Caleb Wilson at power forward. Senior Seth Trimble and Colorado State transfer Kyan Evans will hold down the North Carolina backcourt, with freshman Derek Dixon and Virginia Tech transfer Jaydon Young behind them. If the Tar Heels make a deep run into the NCAA Tournament, Hubert Davis won't have to worry about his job security. UNC's roster is much deeper this coming season, despite plenty of new players, but that depth needs to be proven during non-conference gameplay. Watch: Patriots rookie makes play of the day after quiet training camp
New England Patriots wide receiver Efton Chism III put an end to a thus-far quiet training camp with a diving touchdown catch at Monday's practice. The undrafted rookie's immediate rise in the receivers' room was one of the biggest talking points over the spring. However, things have been eerily silent on the Chism front ever since the start of training camp. He has quickly gone from being a dark horse many predicted to make the team to being left off most 53-man roster projections. With that said, there is still plenty of training camp left to go, and Chism finally made his mark on a beautiful touchdown reception down the right sideline on a pass play from quarterback Joshua Dobbs. It isn't out of the realm of possibility that the Patriots could keep six or even seven receivers on their final roster. Those extra spots being open could mean an opportunity for Chism to make the team. But Chism will need to give the team a reason to keep him around. His reliable hands and speed getting in and out of his routes are reminiscent of past Patriots greats, like Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman.
