. Recently, Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa also took to social media to express his heartfelt condolences.
Darshan shared a social media post
Reacting to the news of her passing, Darshan shared a picture of him with the late actress and shared a solemn message on his social media handle.
"Padmabhushan B, who was famous as a senior artist and acted as Saraswathi. It is very sad to hear about the demise of Sarojadevi. Wishing eternal peace for his soul, may God grant his family and his huge fans the strength to bear the pain of the departure of that senior artist.

She made her debut at the age of 17 with the Kannada film 'Mahakavi Kalidasa,' and she quickly rose to fame with the Tamil blockbuster 'Nadodi Mannan,' released in 1958 alongside M.G. Ramachandran. She was the first female superstar of Kannada cinema, playing the lead heroine in 161 consecutive films over 29 years. Her memorable performances in mythological and historical films like 'Kittur Chennamma' and 'Babruvahana' earned her a massive fan following.
Meanwhile, Darshan faced a controversy last year after he was arrested in the high-profile Renukaswamy murder case. He spent 131 days in custody before being granted interim bail on medical grounds in October 2024.
Despite ongoing legal proceedings, Darshan has resumed his acting career and is currently shooting for his upcoming Kannada action film, 'Devil: The Hero.'

So I think we're making a bigger film at a lower cost. For me, it's not a money-driven thing, honestly,' added Namit Malhotra. About Ramayana Cast and Crew For the unversed, Ramayana is a two-part cinematic spectacle that stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Mata Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Yash as Ravana, and many other incredibly talented actors. The movie is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari, who previously helmed Dangal and Chhichhore. The background score of Ramayana is composed by music legends Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. The makers are in talks with a Hollywood studio to distribute the movie across the world.
