He debuts at super-middleweight on Saturday against New Yorker Edgar Berlanga in the Big Apple - having enjoyed a cheat meal or two.
Sheeraz told SunSport with a laugh: 'I've been having too many!
'Listen, 168 is good, it's a more natural weight for me but then at the same time, it's not just like, 'Oh, he's going up and it's gonna be easy to make.'

'It's still gonna be a little difficult, not as difficult as 160, but a little difficult. So I've still gotta stay disciplined and keep doing what I do.'
He said: "Especially when you enjoy food, it is hard.
"But then at the same time, once I go into that mode, once you're in that mode, there's no taking me out of it.

Sheeraz recently took his sacrifices to new heights after ditching Coca-Cola - which had been his sugary kryptonite.
He chuckled: 'My substitute for it is sparkling water. It gives you the same kind of texture, same feeling, but it doesn't do the job.
'But it's cool, it's cool boxing's about sacrifices and that's an easy sacrifice to make.'

But after flying out to the New York launch press conference in May to go face to face with Berlanga - Sheeraz got one last feast.
And he just had to check out New York's famous pizza slices for himself and reckons it could be his new favourite cheat meal.
He said: "Ever since I've been out here in New York, I've been having a pizza out here and it genuinely is different, so it'd be that.'
Sheeraz, 26, is back the city that never sleeps as he looks to put his rivalry with American hot-head Berlanga, 28, to bed.

Berlanga - who once had 16 straight first-round KOs - was beaten in a one-sided decision to Mexican legend Canelo Alvarez last September.
He has since bounced back with another first-round knock over in March and appears fired up for his hometown return to face Sheeraz.
But Sheeraz said: "Once he takes a few, once I land a few on his chin, I'm telling you, his whole demeanor will change.
'And then it'll be an interesting fight from there because then it will turn into a lot more of a chess match than it ever was in his mind.

'But yeah, I ain't backing down. I'm there to have a fight and I'm there to have it out.'

Jannik Sinner cancels Wimbledon training session amid injury fears
World number one Jannik Sinner has cancelled a practice session amid fears his Wimbledon bid could be scuppered by injury. The 23-year-old Italian hurt his elbow after slipping on the baseline in the first game of his fourth-round match with Grigor Dimitrov on Monday evening. Sinner reached the quarter-finals despite trailing 6-3 7-5 2-2 against the Bulgarian 19th seed, who had to retire after suffering an apparent pectoral injury. But Sinner, who needed a medical timeout during the second set, revealed afterwards he would need an MRI scan on his right elbow on Tuesday. He underwent the scan in the morning and a scheduled practice session at 4pm on Wimbledon's Aorangi Park was subsequently cancelled. "It was quite an unfortunate fall," he said on Monday night after his match. "I checked the videos a little bit, and it didn't seem a tough one, but I still felt it quite a lot, especially on serve and forehand. "I could feel it. So let's see. Tomorrow we are going to check to see how it is, and then we see. "Tomorrow we are going to check with MRI to see if there's something serious, and then we'll try to adjust it." Sinner, a three-time grand slam champion, is due to play American 10th seed Ben Shelton in the second match on Court One on Wednesday afternoon.

Aryna Sabalenka survives massive Wimbledon scare to fight back and secure semi-final place
Sabalenka, the runaway world number one and a three-time grand slam champion, had not dropped a set on her way to the quarter-finals. But 37-year-old Siegemund, who had never previously been beyond the second round, almost produced one of the all-time Centre Court shocks after taking the first set and then twice leading by a break in the decider. However, Sabalenka kept her nerve and her emotions in check as she dug in for a 4-6 6-2 6-4 victory in just under three hours. 'I need some time to cool down and recover, she pushed me so much,' said Sabalenka. 'After the first set I was looking at my box and saying 'book the tickets, we're out of this place'.' German women aged 37 have been the great disruptors of the English summer, with Tatiana Maria claiming a surprise win at Queen's Club before Siegemund's unlikely run here. A renowned doubles player, her game is built around slices, angles, drop shots and being nimble on her feet. But the two clubbing backhand winners with which she sealed two breaks of serve in the opening three games were straight from the Sabalenka playbook. It was a drop shot which brought up another break point, which was secured when an increasingly glum-looking Sabalenka went long, and when the Belarusian dumped a forehand into the net for the umpteenth time she found herself a set down for the first time this fortnight. Sabalenka disappeared off court at the changeover, and when play resumed she moved a break up, only for Siegemund to claw it straight back. ADVERTISEMENT Siegemund was beginning to deploy the dark arts she has built a reputation for, taking an age between points as Sabalenka waited to serve. It was clearly irritating the 27-year-old, but she took her frustration out on the ball with some trademark power hitting eventually levelling the match – the first set Siegemund had dropped this Championships. Yet the underdog bit back in the deciding set, and when she broke for 4-3 she was two games away from a seismic shock. However, Sabalenka broke back immediately and then roared with delight after putting away a smash on match point to reach the semi-finals for the 10th time in the last 11 grand slams. Sabalenka will play American Amanda Anisimova, the 13th seed, who is through to the last four for the first time. The 23-year-old beat Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-1 7-6 (9) after a marathon second set on Court One.
