vivo launched the Dimensity 7300-powered vivo Y400 Pro last month, and on August 4, the brand will follow it up with a vanilla model. Note that we are talking about the vivo Y400 5G, not the Y400 4G, which was recently listed on vivo's Indonesian website. vivo Y400 Pro 5G
vivo hasn't detailed the Y400 5G's specs sheet yet, but the brand's Indian division has revealed the smartphone's design and said that it will come in two colors - Glam White and Olive Green.
We'll know all about the vivo Y400 5G's features, pricing, and availability next Monday. But before that, on July 31, vivo will unveil the T4R in India.
vivo has confirmed that the T4R will come with the Dimensity 7400 chip, 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX882), a 4K selfie camera, and IP68 and IP69 ratings. The smartphone will be 7.3mm thick and feature a quad-curved display.
The vivo T4R is expected to be a version of the iQOO Z10R, which was introduced in India last week and will go on sale in the country today. You can read our iQOO Z10R's announcement coverage here to learn more about it.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 bends but does not break in tough durability test

The Galaxy Z Fold7 passed, now it's Galaxy Z Flip7's turn to go through JerryRigEverything's durability test. Last year, the Z Flip6 survived the dreaded bend test, can the 2025 model repeat that achievement despite being thinner? Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 goes through tough durability test First things first, the scratch test. There are no surprises here – the Z Flip7 uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for the new and improved cover display and the back panel. That sees light scratches at a level 6 and deeper grooves at a level 7. As a reminder, we now list the Mohs hardness of display glass in our specs. The inner display, alas, gets scratched easily, even by relatively soft things. Something can be hard enough to resist scratches or it can be soft enough to bend – if there's another option, engineers haven't found it yet. Like last year, Samsung advertises an IP48 rating for the Galaxy Z Flip7 – this means it's water resistant and it has protection against large particles (around 1mm in size). Dust and sand contain a mixture of differently sized particles and some do get into the hinge – but the phone seems to work fine, despite some concerning noises from the hinge. Finally, the bend test. Samsung may have slimmed down the Z Flip7, but it survived Zach's attempts to bend it the wrong way around. You have to be careful with the inner screen, but other than that, the Z foldables can live through some rough handling. Check out our Galaxy Z Flip7 review if you want to know more about the phone. Infinix shares even more of the GT 30's specs ahead of the official unveiling

Vlad, 05 August 2025 Infinix launched the GT 30 Pro back in May, and will fully unveil the GT 30 on August 8. Ahead of that, the brand has already revealed a bunch of the phone's specs a few days ago, and now it's back with even more details. The GT 30 has a 5,500 mAh battery, which supports bypass charging - so if you plug it in you can use the phone without constantly depleting and recharging the battery. Infinix promises you'll be able to get more than 20 hours of YouTube video watching and more than 12 hours of using Google Maps on one charge. The phone has a 64 MP main camera which uses Sony's IMX682 sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 13 MP selfie snapper. There's also an x-axis linear vibration motor for "immersive haptics", a 3D vapor chamber for cooling, a six-axis gyroscope, dual speakers, a walkie-talkie feature which lets you make calls via Bluetooth when there's no network, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Infinix promises it will deliver two major OS updates to the GT 30, as well as three years of security patches. Previously confirmed specs include a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with "1.5K" resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 4,500-nit peak brightness, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and Gorilla Glass 7i on top. The phone is powered by the Dimensity 7400 SoC by MediaTek, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It has customizable trigger buttons for gaming and is promised to support 90fps gameplay in BGMI. It will launch running Android 15 with XOS 15 on top. It will be offered in India in Pulse Green, Cyber Blue, and Blade White.
