Recently, in a conversation with Farah Khan, Munawar Faruqui shared that he decided to settle down with Mehzabeen because he wanted to provide a stable home for his son, who would otherwise temporarily stay with his sister while he was working. He said, 'When he was leaving, I felt like he needs me and more than him, I think I need him. In that moment. I thought what is it that I should do so I can make him stay with me. For him, I took that decision,' he said. Since Mehzabeen was in a similar situation with her daughter, they decided to tie the knot.
